We had 6 wonderful days in Bhutan. A Special Thank You goes to the guide Sonam and the driver Lhendup, they were simply the best! I was traveling with a 3 years old kid and 75 years grandma. They have arranged the journey suitable to them too! They have been so nice to help me carrying the little boy during the trip to the Tiger’s nest. Really touched by how helpful they were!

Quality of restaurants can be better and lodging at Gangtey was below expectation. Water heater system was not good. We had to boil water to take our bath. I think you should review the choices of your hotel offerings as well as restaurants for the meals. For our last dinner at Paro, we requested to have it at Mountain Cafe. It turns out to be good. It shows that there are good restaurants in Bhutan.

Our guide and driver were terrific, we couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable, friendlier, efficient pair who went out of their way to intuit and meet our smallest needs and wishes. Highly, highly recommend Sonam and Dechen. You guys were tremendous.
However, our first experience of Bhutan was the Capitol Hotel in Thimpu, which was underwhelming. It is a 3-star business travel hotel, totally unsuited to a high-end tourist travel experience. This stood out in sharp contrast to the other 2 hotels - Dhensa in Punaka and Como in Paro - both of which were more appropriate to the experience.
The vehicle had defective seat belts at the back - given the mountainous terrain, this was a concern, though the driver to pains to make manual adjustments where he could. This is definitely an area of improvement.
Dealing with DrukAsia was a pleasure both in Singapore and Bhutan. They were efficient and responsive.

We had a wonderful time in Bhutan. Excellent and prompt communication from the outset, resulting in a holiday that ran like clockwork throughout. Our guide and driver were outstanding. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about history, culture, flora and fauna of his country. The driver was also extremely knowledgeable and we felt very safe in their care.
The accommodation was superb, particularly in Punakha. However by the end of the tour, we felt the food was lacking in variety.

A wonderful trip led by Master Photographer Michael who not only been to Bhutan like 12x but his special relationship with the people there opened opportunities that made a difference.
Ugyen from DrukAsia was very responsive to enquiries and helped to organised an additional day in Paro. Excellent customer service Thank you is not enough!

If you are hesitating, don't wait - go visit the Land of Happiness and be entralled by the experience which words do not do justice.

6 of us had a 5 days trip in Bhutan covering Phunaka, Thimpu and Paro. The highlight of the trip was the visit to Tiger Nest temple with its challenging hike. We had a great time exploring the cities, temples and especially Bhutan culture. We were very impressed with the fact that English is well spoken by almost everyone. Our guide, Tshering Dorji had a perfect English and a wealth of knowledge on each and every place we visited. In fact both our guide and the driver accompanied us and assisted us during the hike to the Tiger Nest. We were grateful and super satisfied with the arrangement. Highly recommended tp use their services

The exchange of correspondence during the planning of the trip was so smooth and efficient. They respond asap and very accommodating in answering inquiries. They were also flexible with our requests. Our guide and driver were very helpful with our daily schedule giving us tips and recommendations since we don’t want to be overwhelmed and tired with all activities that were in the proposed itinerary. They made sure that we were always comfortable. We had the best 9 days stay in Bhutan!!!! ☺️

Everything was very well organized. Nice choice of hotels with big comfortable rooms, amazing views and welcoming staff. My guide Mr Choki made my stay very special. He was very kind, had tons of knowledge about history and Buddhism and made my trip fun.

SoulTrips made our holiday trip to Bhutan fuss and worry free. Everything (flight, arrival pickup, guided tour & departure) is so tightly knitted and well coordinated. We just need to appear!
Special shoutout to our tour guide Sonam! He’s so knowledgeable and able to converse and explain our every questions about Bhutan so well 👍🏻
Not forgetting he is so ever attentive to our needs. He goes to extra length to make sure we are well taken care of. Very sweet of him to prep birthday cakes for us too 😍
An overall awesome experience with SoulTrip and gang!

This trip to Bhutan with Soul Trips under Druk Asia was something I’ll never forget. From February 20-26, I got to experience the beauty of this incredible country, and having the right people guiding me made all the difference.
My guide, Tepe, and driver, Chubby, were fantastic. Tepe was full of knowledge and always had the best answers to my endless questions. He also adjusted the itinerary so I could see and experience more than I expected in just a few days. Chubby, on the other hand, was a master behind the wheel. Driving through Bhutan’s winding mountain road, some right by steep cliffs should have made me nervous, but I felt completely safe with him the entire time.
The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and even in the cold, it was worth every moment. My stay in Gangtey was a highlight not just for the views of the Phobjikha Valley, which were stunning, but also for the experience of waking up to the sight and sound of wild black-necked cranes. The lodge itself wasn’t perfect, but with scenery like that, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
Bhutan left a deep impression on me, and I know this won’t be my last visit. If you’re thinking of going, I highly recommend Soul Trips under Druk Asia.

Ms Ugyen Dema from Druk Asia organised our entire Bhutan Trip. I was picky with food and she also made sure I am well fed in Bhutan. Though it was a last minute decision to go to Bhutan, Dema made the plans perfectly organised even accommodating to our numerous hotel and flight requests
When we arrived in Bhutan… Our guide Kinley was knowledgeable about Bhutan’s rich culture, religion and history. Helping us to understand the site visits better. Our driver Tobgay was a superb driver navigating the tough terrains and keeping us safe and sound. Both of them were always on time ensuring we get to visit all the places and get sufficient rest.
Bhutan is unique! My wife and I had an unforgettable time! Many thanks to Dema, Kinley and Tobgay for making Bhutan a truly wonderful experience for us!

Stayed in Bhutan for 14 days during winter.
Bhutan is indeed stunningly beautiful. However, I could have had a much more memorable stay had the itinerary been made more thoughtful. Not much attention was given to the winter itinerary that the agency sent me. It appeared more of a template suitable for spring and autumn. Many shops and places of interest were closed during my visit, which, of course, I only found out when I was already there. Some days were dull, with nothing to do, leading to boredom. I was told that I should "perhaps discuss this with the guide," which I did. My guide did her best to fill in the gaps in the itinerary. However, with the limited options for her to present, there was also not much she could do, and I do not blame her. For instance, three days were allocated for Bumthang, but I wasted two days because there was nothing much to do. The suggestion to change to another location came in at the second night, so I practically wasted two days already. This would have been avoided if careful attention was given to the proposed itinerary prior to my travel, and not during my stay. Alternatives should have been in place. I wish the agency was transparent on communicating about the ideal length of stay for winter. I would have felt more fulfilled for 10 days than staying 14 days with a stretched itinerary.
Whether one travels off-peak or peak season, all travellers deserve to get their money's worth.
And then there were some issues with the accommodation of my hardworking guide and driver. They had limited access to a proper heating system and hot water on those freezing winter nights. One time, I tried to negotiate with a hotel representative to provide them with access to hot water, and he gave me a rude response. (That hotel was Bhutan Mountain Resort.)
But on the positive side of things, I am blessed to have spent this journey with my guide and my driver. My guide, Tshewang, has a very kind heart yet strong. I will forever remember all those hikes and cliffs that we braved together. My driver, Thinley, is smart, funny and a good conversationalist. He could make a good guide for a socio-economic trip. Not to mention, he can take good photos! DrukAsia is lucky to have them. They are for keeps.

**Incredible 7-Day Experience in Bhutan**
My wife and I spent an unforgettable week in Bhutan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Bhutanese history, culture, and traditions, making every site visit even more meaningful.
Punctuality and reliability were top-notch—always on time, always professional, and always ensuring we had the best possible experience. We felt completely at ease, knowing we were in trustworthy hands.
Bhutan itself is breathtaking, and experiencing it with such an expert guide made it even more special. Every detail was taken care of, and we truly felt immersed in the beauty and serenity of the country.
If you’re considering a trip to Bhutan, we *highly* recommend this service. A truly superb experience!

We booked a tour with DrukAsia/Soultrips to Bhutan from 19 to 25 Jan 2025 for Ed Shereen Concert tour package and was assigned tour guide, Mr Dorji Wangchuk and driver, Mr Kuenga.
Mr Dorji was the best guide anyone could asks for! He is eloquent in English (also speaks multiple languages in Hindi and Nepali by the way), friendly, attentive and knowledgable. He always went the extra mile to ensure we are comfortable during the trip, requests for all the hotels to give us the rooms with the best views, bring us to explore the local food places and shrines, temples, gift shops, ensuring our safety and also enhancing our experiences. He shares a lot on the culture, life and historical places around Thimphu, Punakha and Paro, we learnt so much from him! He is so helpful and often offer to carry our bags or items for us so we can shop or hike with ease. He even brought us snacks and water during our hike up to Tiger Nest, always keeping a lookout for our safety and comfort. During the D-day for Ed Shereen's concert, he even went above and beyond to find ways to bring us quickly and safely into our ticket zone, and soughting help from his friend to secure us good view seats! This kind gesture was surely beyond his role as a tour guide and we are grateful and touched by this experience :)
Added bonus that Mr Dorji is an award winning photographer and when he knew we went Bhutan to take some casual pre-wedding shoot, he took the initiative to help us to take superb nice and professional photos with Bhutan's amazing scenary and places.
Mr Kuenga is such a professional and safe driver! He is patient and always ensuring the car's heater is ready for us, helping us with our luggages and bags, opening the car doors for us. His attention to details make the rides so comfortable, we always have a new water bottled at our car doors' compartment each day, with a pack of wet wipes for our usage. He also always ensures the car is clean and neat before we begin our adventure each day. He took the effort to always arrive earlier to wait for us and help us with our bags, also patiently waiting for us when we alight for short breaks or shopping. His chemistry with Mr Dorji was great too as you can see and sense the good vibes and friendship amongst them throughout the trip.
Thank you so much to the both of them for making our trip so wonderful and memorable, we will certainly recommend both Mr Dorji and Mr Kuenga to everyone going to Bhutan for an amazing and enjoyable trip!

My first time to Bhutan - it exceeded my expectations in all aspects - calming beautiful scenery, centuries old building structures but what gave me the in-depth appreciation of the people, inner beauty, culture and history of Bhutan is the ongoing sharing by our very knowledgeable and professional guide, Mr Sonam Lhendup. Am very grateful to be so well taken care by the kind, caring and patient Mr Sonam and Mr Namgay Thai (driver). I highly recommend the both of them. Thank you very much also to Mr Sangay Dorji who did such a fabulous job facilitating my seamless online booking experience with DrukAsia and accommodated efficiently and expeditiously to all my requests/queries/changes. Thank you so much! Kadrinchey la!

The sceneries at Bhutan were awesome. The food was delicious; I liked how the food was prepared in variety in an attempt to not bore the eater. My guide Ms. Tshewang accommodated my wishes and the driver Mr. Puk (not sure spelling) was kind and always with smiley face. It was a comfortable trip.

Embark on a last-minute trip to Bhutan in November, and I’m so glad I chose Soultrips for this adventure. Son from Soultrips made sure everything was well-planned and smooth, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team with Chencho as the guide and Tshering as the driver.
Both of them were very attentive throughout the trip. I remember during our drive to Punakha, the windows were down, and the chilly wind made me take out my jacket to keep warm. Tshering noticed and quickly asked Chencho to wind up the windows. It was such a thoughtful gesture.
Chencho is also an amazing photographer, and I’m really thankful he helped take so many nice photos for me. Unfortunately, I had some stomach issues on Day 5, but Chencho went out of his way to find medicine and check on me. The hotel staff at Silver Cloud were also very caring—they kept checking if I was feeling better, which I really appreciated.
Thanks to their care and support, I managed to recover and even completed the hike to Tiger’s Nest the next day. Chencho also made sure I got a window seat on the flight back, and I was lucky to catch stunning views of the Himalayan mountains.
This trip wouldn’t have been the same without the care and warmth shown by Chencho, Tshering, and the wonderful people in Bhutan. Thank you all for making it such a memorable experience!

My recent trip to Bhutan was an incredible experience, made even more special by the outstanding support from my amazing guide, Tshewang and our driver.
I was quite stressed navigating the uneven hiking paths, but Tshewang was so patient and encouraging, ensuring I felt comfortable and safe throughout. Her kindness and care truly made a difference. The driver also deserves immense praise as his skillful and cautious driving on Bhutan’s challenging roads ensured our safety and allowed us to relax during the journey. It is a highly underrated yet vital job and he excelled at it.
Thanks to their dedication, I could fully enjoy Bhutan’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and peaceful atmosphere as a solo female traveller. I’m deeply grateful for their efforts and highly recommend this team from Soul Trip to anyone planning to visit Bhutan.
