I’m very grateful Mr Kinley was my tour guide. A good driver too. He took efforts to share the history and customs of the monastery, scenery, food and beverages. I enjoyed the company of the tour guide and driver. Many laughter as we hike and drove along long distance mountain roads.
There were some minor adjustment to itinerary to customize to my love of mediating and visiting pilgrimage monastery.
A worthwhile trip。 Shall return to tour east Bhutan.

Druk Air were a fantastic one to one experience. I am so glad I decided to get a personalised guide and driver as opposed to a group tour. Our every request from borrowing the national dress, asking strangers for photos and visiting off the itinerary places e.g. Paro Fortress was adhered to, no conditions asked. Our guide Yonko Dorji was a beacon of Buddhist knowledge and his explanations really brought the temples to life with his rich story telling. Every visitation was a transportation into the mythical, spiritual and superstitions of Bhutan, that kept us saying, 'wow'. But the tour got even better because of our outstanding driver Lhaka Drukpa, an enthusiastic and very humourous man, who helped us take photos and interact with the locals. I would highly recommend these two for any trip to Bhutan and will certainly be asking for them again next time I visit Bhutan :) Another note worth mentioning is the breathtaking flight from Katmandu to Paro, where you can see epic views of Mount Everest (on the left side). The highlight for many on this trip is of course the Tigers Nest, but for us it was the visit to a small temple of Longevity were we were able to enjoy a packed lunch with the resident monk high up on a mountain. I remember everyday clearly of my 6 day tour and this has been one of the best experiences of my life. I am so happy to have chosen Druk Air and am thrilled by the warm hearted welcome and ability of the guides to make you feel like you are traveling with genuine friends.

My tour guide is helpful. She explained Bhutanese history, culture, and religions fairly well, very good information. Both the tour guide and the driver are friendly and nice.

We had a great time in Bhutan thanks to our guide Sonam and driver Kinga. We was immerse into a beautiful country with nice people, culture, dzongs and temples. Carefully plan mini hiking trails and accommodations allow me acclimatise to high altitude allow me to successfully hike up to Tiger Nest Monastery which is the highlight of the trip. We also enjoys the last nite in Bhutan with a X’mas eve dinner gathering with others tourists and Druk Asia guides and drivers.

Best tour guide award goes to Mr Ugyen. Despite the wide age range of our 9 person group, from 11 to 49 years old, every one of us enjoyed all activities planned and customised by Mr Ugyen. Really thankful to Mr Ugyen for getting us acclimatised to the high altitude with some short hikes so that we can climb Tiger's Nest on the last day. And most importantly, he was encouraging and entertaining our young ones all the way up and down Tiger's Nest, so none of them complained about being tired!
