I recently had the incredible pleasure of exploring Bhutan under the care of Druk Asia, coordinated seamlessly by Ugyen Dema. Without a doubt, it was one of the most memorable and meaningful trips of my life.

From the very beginning, the Druk Asia team impressed me with their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. Every aspect of the journey — from accommodations and transportation to the cultural experiences and daily activities — was thoughtfully and meticulously arranged. I had plenty of questions leading up to the trip, and the team was always quick and patient in their responses, which gave me great peace of mind.

A special mention must go to my amazing guide, Dorji Tshering, whose deep knowledge, warmth, and passion for Bhutan’s culture and history made every day an enriching experience. Equally commendable was my expert driver, Sangay Tenzin, who not only ensured our travels were safe and smooth but also joined us on several tours — making the experience feel even more connected and friendly. Both Dorji and Sangay were a fantastic duo — always cheerful, full of laughter, and quick with jokes, making the entire journey lively, fun, and unforgettable. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team.

What truly set this trip apart was the personalized care I received throughout. At no point did I feel like just another tourist. The team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and fully immersed in the soul-soothing beauty of Bhutan.

Some highlights that will forever stay with me include the breathtaking hike to Tiger’s Nest, the serene landscapes of Punakha, and the deeply spiritual moments within the ancient dzongs. Every experience was layered with meaning, leaving me with a renewed sense of peace and gratitude.

The skillful smooth landing at Paro airport is amazing! The plane and seats look new and clean, perhaps the seat holders in front of seats needs some replacement. Had the fruits platter on the flight out of Paro. Wish the fruits especially the papaya were more fresh though. Overall great flight experience.

We had a great time on a tour of Bhutan with the SoulTrips team of NT (guide) and Kado (driver).

NT and Kado were kind, patient, and gracious. They were flexible and accommodating of our needs, and helped us get a great perspective of life in Bhutan: the scenery, the cities, the temples, the food, and the culture.

My wife and I went on a 7 day private tour of Bhutan over 3-9 May 2025 orgainised by Sonam of Druk Asia with Soul Trips in Bhutan and with our own private guide ( Kinley) and driver ( Chabi).
Sonam at Druk was so helpful in helping us organise an itinerary and making all the arrangements for our trip. Always gave us prompt replies and great advice.
Kinley and Chabi also gave us great service. Kinley has a terrific knowledge of Buddhist history and theology and Bhutanese history . He gave us insightful and in depth explanations that made our already wonderful trip so much the better. If you get to Bhutan ( and you really should ) use Druk and Soul and make sure to see if you can get Kinley and Chabi to escort you.

We had a big dream of visiting Bhutan and you made it possible in a beautiful way. We love the country and its people, who teach us what it means to live happily. We were already dazzled by the wonderful view of the Himalayas before arriving. The beauty continues at the airport, which looks like an art gallery, in the breathtaking landscapes, in the temples and beautiful architecture, in the kindness and hospitality of its people. We are very grateful to Sangay and Dechan, who made our visit very productive, pleasant and welcoming, ending with a delicious and relaxing hot stone bath. We arrived in the country excited and left even more excited. We will carry Bhutan and its people in our hearts.

Bhutan is a magical place to visit. I have never experienced mountains so expansive and air so clean. I learnt a lot about Bhutan, from their religion, to their history, traditions, government, and cuisine. Go in with an open mind and a humble heart, and you'll have the experience of a lifetime.

As a solo female traveler, I was very well taken care off by the tour guide and the driver, who are part of a travel agent called Soul Trips. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The journey was smooth and timely. Druk Asia also made the entire booking process very easy and painless.

My wife and I had an extremely enjoyable stay during our 10-days trip to Bhutan. Everything was very well organised by Soul Trip and the stay was made much more comfortable with the presence of our guide, Ngawang Tsering (NT) and our driver, Sangay Choedup who really took excellent care of us. We would highly recommend anyone going to Bhutan to request for these 2 gentlemen to guide them during their stay there. We must compliment NT for his jovial demeanor and Sangay for his cautious driving skill, especially when navigating the roads around the mountains. Overall, the hotels chosen were good except for the following minor inconveniences,
1) Hotel Zhingham Resort in Punakha - we were initially given a room at level 4 where we had to climb almost 100 steps and it was right at a god-forsaken corner where we were the only occupants. quite scary. Fortunately, upon request for a change they managed to offer us a room on level 1, which was much more comfortable, 2) Hotel Mountain Resort in Bumthang - bad wifi connection and hot water supply in the room. Overall, an excellent journey which exceeded our expectations.

Our adventure in Bhutan was simply too superb in every way beyond words.
Right from booking to every steps made on this beautiful land of our tour, the coordination and execution from all levels was just seamless.
We lived in Melbourne, Australia but we very glad we booked our travel with Soultrips/Druk Asia in the Singapore office during our previous visit there.
Travel Specialist, Ugyen was always patient to follow up and immediate response to our numerous email queries even during the late odd hours had much impressed us.
She was helpful to organize and alter our itinerary according to our request effectively and gone further to assist us when we had trouble with our flights booking and check-in with late notice.
We were very well received on arrival by our guide Sangay and his team and they took good care of our well being throughout.
Besides the enormous and breathtaking dzongs, temples, trails and places, Sangay is a living history book who journeyed us through the long history and story in everywhere we visited, something extras to what we read in the Bhutan Travelog.
Last but not least, we would not have complete, let alone enjoy our trek on the Bumdra trek and Tiger nest if not Sangay offered to carry my wife's backpack along with his pack, thank you again Sangay.
In short, we survived the climb, braved some obstacles, met some rare wildlife, learned their culture and spiritual history and also witness new birth of a calf in a farm along the way.
This is the most fruitful and memorable adventure we had with plentiful of fun, photos and countless fond memories.

Our guide Chenchou and Driver Tilly were great travelling companions as well as ensuring we explored all of what we wanted to see and do. They made a great team.
Two local festivals were added to our itinerary and the day and stay in Gangtey were our highlights.

The tour guide, Tashitobgay took very good care of us especially me who is the elderly one. He held me during the walk most of the time and carried the bag for me to ease me in the walking.

Booked a 7 day Bhutan tour package with Bumdra Trek with Druk Asia and the process was very smooth. The agency was quick in responding to my queries (usually within the next working day). The whole tour was well arranged - good mix of activities and plenty of room for customisation as mine was a private tour package. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and welcome for the entire time in Bhutan, with additional thanks to my guide (Ms Sangay Om) and driver (Mr Namgay) who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The both of them also helped me take many beautiful photos! Had a great time and I highly recommend Druk Asia if you’re looking to travel to Bhutan.

We did not only see Bhutan, but we were able to experience it in all our senses.
We breathed in the crisp pine-scent air along the Gangtey Valley. Tasted the comforting spice of ema datshi, listen to Bhutanese songs over the radio while driving along the mountainside, touched the prayer wheels with all our hopes and watch the beautiful art that adorned each temple.

Every detail of the trip was organized by Tashi who was very punctual and listen to what we wanted and needed. He made sure that we enjoyed ourselves and took beautiful photos also. He shared stories on each stop and help us connect the history with the soul of each place.

We arrived as visitors but gained a friend in Bhutan with so many memories to last a lifetime.

Great experience travelling with Druk Asia, from flight, hotel booking, meals arrangement and visiting places of interest. Everything was seamlessly executed. My experience in Bhutan was great. Especially I enjoyed the guide and driver that made it even better. The guide Kinley was attentive and precise in his explanations that made it very easy to understand the history and culture of Bhutan. The driver Sonam was careful and focus in his driving that it safe to be in the vehicle. All in all it was an enjoyable trip and great experience.
