I recently visited your store to purchase a bed and was impressed by the variety of options available. However, I initially found it difficult to decide which one would best suit my needs.

Fortunately, one of your employees, Ana, approached me and offered her assistance. She was absolutely wonderful—kind, patient, and highly knowledgeable. Asked to review an order that wasn’t delivered?

As far as I’m aware, my order was dispatched and never reached the store. There has been no follow up email to confirm it was ever delivered, and I cannot cancel or refund my order because it has been “in transit” since March.

Curtains for Dunelm

Curtains for Dunelm, with no kind of refund offered.

I recently bought some curtains for my daughters bedroom and was told a refund was possible if the curtains were kept in the packaging or we’re successful put back into the packaging.

A bright pink room makes the right colour imperative. A blue roller blind was replaced by White Dunelm MTN blinds…

I took the curtains back to the Swindon store today (without receipt) and was told that a refund was not possible, and I may have stolen the blinds.

I spent 15 minutes trying to call the store and all line were busy.

I won’t be shopping in Dunelm again.

Returned a click and collect damaged…

Returned a click and collect damaged product instore but not offered a refund instead of a replacement and to re-order. In the meantime price has gone up. I was advised by shop assistant to call customer services. When I called it was what is becoming the norm today:

1 AI voice
2 We are very busy and receiving a lot of calls
3 Treat our staff with respect

I was kept on hold for ages and gave up. I shall be buying the product elsewhere and steering clear of Dunelm in future.

Dunelm need to realise that shoddy customer services should not be tolerated.

Good experience overall.

Finding and ordering great experience, no problem.
Only slight hiccup was on day of delivery. Given a 4 hr window but no phone call 1 hr before hand. Luckily I had cancelled a previous appointment so was in.

Mixed bag: decently good to absolutely terrible

Ordered a rug, arrived well packaged, in good condition, is reasonably high quality. In the same order I got 2 large picture frames, these were delivered in inadequate packaging, boxes smashed, frames warped beyond use. They were terrible quality even if they hadn't been wrecked. Had to order much better frames, for much less money from a competitor. Returning these damaged frames took weeks. Support were insistent on using Evri, who didn't appear to collect. Twice. I had to eventually lug the smashed up boxes to a parcel shop. Once returned, I received a refund for only 1 frame, had to chase up support yet again to get the 2nd frame refunded.

Zero communication

Waiting for a delivery which was supposed to be today between 7 and 11am. Message received that there was a transport issue and that a different carrier would be used and I would get an update. No chair, no update and impossible to get through to customer service or home delivery network. I appreciate that problems will arise occasionally but they need to keep customers informed. Not the first delivery issue with Dunelm.

Fraudulant statement by the company dunelm use to deliver package

On two occasions now Dunelm have use DHL to deliver my orders, both times the company have stated i signed for my delivery which i never did. One order i recieved but my order that was suppose to of been delivered yesterday which again state i signed for which is actually fraud as no order was received and no signature of mine was obtained so very disappoint with the service. The next joke is trying to get someone to talk to from either dunelm as live chat no available and DHL you have to add to whatsapp and then wait till someone contacts you back.

Having purchased same products recently…

Having purchased same products recently we re ordered for family and part ourselves having purchased some items at other well known retailers Dunhelm outshone all on price and actually quality ! Towels we purchased a good while back retained look and soft feel & water absorption the ultimate . Quilts very good too

Classy storage solution

I ordered the ottoman storage boxes, both large and cube. Excellently priced and extremely sturdy.

A significant improvement on the old plastic storage boxes I was using. And the range of colours is great!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. There was a mess up over delivery and some of my blinds were returned to the warehouse. They were then found, then lost, then remade. This took several phone calls, emails and store visits over several weeks to resolve. Also one of the blinds was faulty. I could write an essay about the poor service but above is a very brief summary. I was told by the online assistant that I would be offered a goodwill payment but this hasn't materialised either.
