I recently used Dunford Penrose for a Level 3 survey on a property we are purchasing, and I’m very pleased with the service provided by Oscar.

The report was detailed, clear, and easy to understand, with photographs and explanations that helped us identify potential areas to investigate further. Oscar was also approachable and responsive when we had follow-up questions after reading the report.

What I appreciated most was the professional and balanced approach. The survey highlighted important points without being alarmist, and it helped us make informed decisions during the purchase process. When we needed clarification about the flat roof noted in the survey, Oscar responded promptly and guided us appropriately to seek a specialist inspection.

Overall, a very professional service and I would happily recommend Oscar and Dunford Penrose to anyone needing a thorough and well-presented property survey.

My surveyor Carl was excellent from the start. His communication was spot on and he called on the day of the inspection exactly when promised. He explained any issues clearly and honestly, which I really appreciated. I also received the final property report earlier than expected, and it was extremely detailed. A very professional and reliable service.  Very highly recommended.

The survey was arranged in a very short amount of time, and I also got a call on the day of the survey to let me know the main points. The surveyor took the time to explain everything and answered my questions. I really appreciated that as a first time buyer without much experience. They surveyer was also able to answer follow on questions which is amazing. This really saved me a lot of time trying to get my head around the survey report, and helped in renegotiations of the property price.

The booking process was smooth. Replies were quick and helpful. The report quality was good. Would recommend.

Very thorough survey and comprehensive report. Survey carried out promptly at reasonable cost and a phone call to cover the headlines on the day of the survey. Only minor complaint dwould be the report us too long, it requires a long time to take it all in.

We had Simon Harris as our named surveyor, and I cannot rate him higher! We paid for a level 3 survey on a 120+ year old property that contained a few significant structural concerns, and Simon explained the survey findings clearly and accurately over the telephone with us, the same day that he had carried the survey out. This helped us to prepare to receive the written report 4 working days later, without it being a lot to take in all at once/the shock of finding out the issues. Despite not going through with the property, the survey is the best money that we have spent and was worth every penny. We are continuing to house hunt now, but there is no doubt in our minds that we will use Simon/Dunford & Penrose again.

Theo not just took his time and explained to me the report he put together after the survey, but he has continued his support several months after the survey and has patiently answered all our queries/concerns as they arose. Kenny our surveyor was fantastic, visiting the property twice as he wasn’t able to access the garage initially. His report was thorough and he spoke to us on the phone more than once to clarify/explain further. Would definitely use again.

Incredibly helpful and responsive. The Surveyor rang on the day to give us a very insightful breakdown which calms your worries not having to wait for the full report, which was very clear. We have also been able to ask as many questions as we need after recieving the report. Highly Recommend!
