It all started when I decided to have laser vision correction. I wanted to do only SMILE. According to reviews I chose Medibeauty clinic. In June I came to Istanbul for the operation. I would like to note that they have a great organization. We were gathered in a group and brought to the clinic. After the examination it turned out that no one from the group can do relex SMILE surgery. Only LASIK or PRK. I was very suspicious. I decided to pay a fine and try to go to another clinic for examination.
Now. I would like to express my great gratitude to Dünyagöz Clinic! And also to the organizer Elif Dagli. They organized the examination appointment very quickly. On the same day I was referred to the doctor Aylin Koc Akbay for an examination. The examination showed that I could have SMILE surgery.
And they appointed a time for the evening.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the doctor Aylin Koc Akbay for the high level of professionalism! Before the operation, she explained everything in detail how and what will happen. The operation was successful! Three months later I have excellent eyesight.
So I want to say, if you have doubts. Don't spare any money. Try to go to another clinic and compare.

I had a discussion with Dr. Volkan Matben and we agreed on the best Eye surgery for my case and the safest that was (PRK No touch) my eyesight was really bad Even with glasses, I'm a lot better now that a month has passed , I also recommend Ms. Elif Dağlı who has been useful, I also recommend Mr.Mahmood (a translator) who was extremely helpful and he's the one that referred me to this hospital

That was a great experience at Dunyagoz Eye Hospital in Izmir! I had an operation called LASIK and now enjoy an excellent vision! Dr Gokcen Gokce was very professional, competent and kind, he answered all my questions. Everything was done quick and I left hospital next morning. The hospital is new, very clean and facilities are just great with very big and lovely rooms . I definitely recommend to choose Dunyagoz in Izmir. Special thanks to a young lady Sinem Yuldiz, who accompanied me all the way throughout my stay. She translated all for me, checked on me regularly and was all the points of help! Flawless experience. I am glad I did it exactly there!

Okay, in 2013 i had to search for eye hospital in turkey for my sister. My luck took me to Dünyagöz Atakoy. From the bigening we received welcome phone calls while in Kuwait. When we arrived there we had the best welcome with warm reception from staff and doctors. They are very accurate and precise while doing all examination and testing. My sister had two operations in both eyes and now she is very happy and we had wonderful assistance from Ayşe the Arabic translater. I my self had examinations so many times for my ritena and in 2016 I had an operation in my left eye at Dünyagöz Etiler and special thanks for Elif Dagli the translater and the doctor assistance. My last examination was in November 2022 . I believe that Dünyagöz hospital is full of
" Angel's " and they deserve 5/5 because they care alot, they are very kind, very accurate and precise and they use the latest advanced machines for testing and examinations. They are the best for those who needs Angel's touch for their " EYES 👀 ". ALWAYS wish them the best and Allah razı olsun. My experiences with Dünyagöz from October 2013 till November 2022.

I have had recently the Relex Smile laser procedure. The results are awesome. My vision is perfect now! Thank you so much for this. The doctor that treated me was Anil Kubaloglu. He was friendly and a high level professional doctor.
Few tips/comments on the questions/answers that I wasn't able to find before coming to Etiler branch:

Taxi transfer from the airport: it was arranged by the Clinic per my request. I was a little confused as i thought that the vehicle will have clinic's sign/name. However, exit 14 - in IST airport, will be bench of ppl from different companies and you will need to ask which one is for the Dünyagöz hospital. The driver was there and everything was perfectly arranged even though my flight was 10 hr delayed.

Time of arrival: My flight was delayed like 10 hr , my appointment was next day. We arrived at 12 midnight , receptionist was there. We registered and went straight to our room.

Payment: They accept all type of payments. I paid with credit card Amex. Firstly, I had all the check ups to make sure I am suitable for Relex Smile and only before the surgery I paid. Everything was included into the price and I haven't paid any penny extra, except for eye drops which I will suggest you to buy BEFORE the surgery in the pharmacy across the road. It costed me like £9.
Surgery: was 2 min each eye same day after check ups and payment. It was fast that I didn't even realized that it was done. I had to wear dark glasses that they provided me with for 3hr after the surgery. I felt some burning, but that's normal. I had my flight next day, hence, wasn't able to give my eyes proper rest. I was able to see 90% next day and 100% the day after.
Hotel/Clinic: The room was spacious so me and my mom had enough space to fit on a bed and sofa. Breakfast, lunch, dinner was provided which was good. Drinking hot/cold water was always available, towels, tv, and wifi was provided.

The staff wasn't really familiar with English language, however, Doctor spoke English and translators were available to support any need.

Thank you once again for having my eyes fixed and I don't have to wear glasses anymore! I am very happy with the results! This surgery is magic and definitely worth traveling to Turkey instead of paying overpriced treatment in the UK!

It was the best decision to do the lazer. My doctor was Anil Kubaloglu. He is very kind and professional. I can really recommend him.
He did the smile lazer. It was with any pain and after a few hours I could see without glasses or contact lenses. This is still unbelievable for me

I had an excimer laser ilasec operation two weeks ago. The service provided since the first day of my visit was good. Fatih Kaya who assisted me throughout my experience was really kind and helpful. I would like to thank to the drivers who transfered us between the airport and the hospital. They were so kind and helpful. Additionally, the accommodation in hospital was good and the stuff were kind. In regards to the hospital, it is a nice, clean hospital where you feel safe however everything is money centered.
Prof. Dr. Anil Kubaoglu was a good with high knowledge who can find a solution to all issues you may have and during the operation he talks to you and does everything to keep you calm. However the doctors are so busy and you feel the rush everytime you have an appointment and visit at their office. You feel the rush of someone next is waiting outside and even if you have questions you have to ask quickly and get out immedietely as someone else is waiting out there, which I don't think is a good feeling for a patient who has recently undergone surgery and has a lot of questions to ask.
I started seeing immedietely after the surgery which was a very good feeling. The operation only took 8 minutes and you don't feel any pain during the operation. After a while it starts burning slightly like you have gone underwater in a sea with open eyes and then it starts hurting like there is dust in your eyes. In a few hours all these symptoms start relieving. I had a light sensitivity after the surgery but I assume it is normal. However, it triggered my migraine which the neurologist said it is normal after surgeries and will relieve in time. My vision during the day is perfectly well but I cannot drive at night as the street lights look like a star and it disturbs my vision. I am hoping that my night vision will recover soon.

I have done laser operation (Relex Smile) at Dunyagoz Istanbul Etiler. I was quite worried in the beginning but Doctors and Nurses created very nice atmosphere for me, in addition full service provided by clinic is really appreciated. I recommend to everybody who is looking for eye treatment.

Very bad experience May 2022
My daughter laser went wrong alot of blood came out of her eye and its damaged.she has a scarfe now in her eye.
I did the lens implants 3500 euro and i see worse then before. No response to emails i wrote ore the whatsapp. Had to go to the hospital here because of the bad sight and pain so now am wearing glasses again.so i would never ever go again for my eyes.

I am very happy with the outcome of my laser surgery as well as with the medial team they handled the process. Very flexible & helpful.
