Purchased a bar chain recently in…

Purchased a bar chain recently in liffey valley store. On returning home i found 2 names crooked, a scratch on the chain and one name upside down. I rang store and was told to contact customer service by email. They gave me the wrong email and i had to ring back again. Clearly staff havnt a clue and dont care. One star is too high even.

Northstar ring

Ordered online and had it in about 3 days. It's a beautiful ring, but the spikes are quite sharp and keep catching on things, which can make it quite painful to wear daily.

Classic Diamond Ring in Gold

I ordered the Classic Diamond Ring in Gold online. I've viewed it before in the Liffey Valley shop and decided yes, I'd be happy to Pay €89.00 for the ring.
It arrived yesterday along with huggies.
I was so disappointed at the plastic ring that showed up. Something that I would get in Pennys for €8, never mind €89.00.
As I have bought Rings, Necklaces and Earrings from Dylan oaks before I expected Quality, not costume plastic.
I will be returning the ring, and buing all my jewellery in store from now on, if at all.

I purchased these Huggies for my mother…

I purchased these Huggies for my mother for her 50th wedding anniversary. She absolutely loves them and has got numerous compliments while wearing them. Excellent service and delivery with this company. I will buy again.

Staff cares more about their commissions than having happy customers.


Today I got a 3cm Letter Bar Necklace in Gold for my wife on our anniversary (She was with me selecting the necklace) . The item is great however after paying for it, I noticed a promotional advertisement stating to be able to get a set of earring for free if your purchase was above €89 at the till which the staff never mentioned. I was never told about this offer by staff. I did turn around and talk to my wife while we were still in the shop, and I mentioned to her and ask her to get a set of earrings so we could be above the €89 and get the free set also. There was not event 3 minutes elapsed without having leaving the shop when I turned around and ask the same person who attended us if we could by the new set of earrings and them get the free earrings announced on the promotion. She must be very concerned for her commission because she said NOT, I have to make another purchase of €90 event that 3 minutes before I spend €44 to get the promotion. I would have understood if I would have gone and comeback at a later day or hour after but we were 3 minutes and still inside the shop. This was very disappointing to the point that we did not buy the second set of €65 earrings and to the point that I don’t think that I would ever come back there due to this treatment. I am posting this communication on Google reviews so people know that your staff is more concerned about commissions than happy and potentially returning customers. Seriously 3 minutes and not event leave the shop…also, when we got the first item we never got communicated about this promotion.

Visited the Belfast store to purchase…

Visited the Belfast store to purchase an engraved bar silver necklace for my DIL following my grandsons birth. Got 2 names on, lovely packaging etc. She took it out of the box and after 30 minutes of wearing the chain snapped. Very very fine chain and quality is not what I expected. I got a refund - but involved travelling to the store again. Sales assistant offered to repair but when I raised how it snapped within a few moments of putting it on, she suggested it was a very delicate necklace. Improve the quality of the chain - the products are lovely, but don't think they warrant the price tag.

First and last order from Dylan oaks!!!!

Ordered a necklace and bracelet set in size m/l as I prefer a longer chain. Set arrived and the bracelet was a perfect fit but the chain just about closed so I emailed them enquiring if they had sent me the wrong size chain but NO the set comes with a m/l size bracelet but just a standard/very small chain. No return post envelope or sticker with address supplied to return and not very helpful customer service. Left now with the cost of delivery on purchase and cost of sending back….

Beautiful Jewellery

This is the 3rd time I have bought from Dyaln Oaks other 2 time were gift purchases that looked amazing when they arrived so this time I decided to treat myself. Absolutely beautiful pieces, engraving is extremly well done I love my 2 necklaces. I wear both together and they never tangle which I love. The night I ordered I was extremely sick in bed and thought I had spent enough for the beautiful free bracelet that was on offer but no I was a euro short, only me 🙄🤣 will continue to buy from here as gifts and probably treat myself again as they are a treasured piece.

Do not buy any of their earrings …

I’ve been gifted 3 pairs of earrings since October of last year, 1 of them I had to return as the clicker was loose. Had them exchanged which was hassle free. However the clickers in the earrings are obviously poor quality because I’ve lost 1 of all 3 earrings. So I now have 3 mixed earrings because I’m missing the pairs.

I emailed in a complaint back in May and I never had a response. So disappointing as I have 2 of their letter name bars and love them. And I have 1 pair of rose gold earrings that luckily I still have.

Stay clear of the earrings.

This was my 2nd purchase from Dylan…

This was my 2nd purchase from Dylan Oaks. When I made the order yesterday morning, I quickly realised that I had made a mistake for the engraving.. I messaged the instagram page and had a prompt response from Penny, who said she would have Caitlin fix it up for me.
It actually arrived this morning! 24hrs for a personalised item and for it to be delivered is insane! Also, the quality of the necklace is amazing! Thank you so much to Penny, Caitlin and all at Dylan Oaks!

Customer Care is without a doubt, 5 stars
Chloe is amazing. A friend tried to send a damaged necklace back to the company for repair, but there were issues with her post being delivered.

Chloe took the time to write a lovely email offering alternative options to my friend, and she was very understanding of the situation.
10/10 based on their customer care alone, I myself have been convinced to shop with them in the future
