What a con
What a con! I went into the gov.uk website to renew my licence. I clicked on the link assuming it was a government site. I filled in the online form and paid the £14. I then received an email saying that my info didn’t match. I gave up the £14 and decided to attend a post office to renew instead. I paid another £21.50 and thought that was it. To my horror, two days later this scamming site took £89 from my account. I could not believe it so raised the issue with Barclays. My complaint has been thrown out by my bank as the site had used small print to state I had signed up for some sort of membership when I applied for my licence. Totally out of pocket and pissed off but I have to put it down to experience. At least I won’t have to renew for another 10 years now.
Annoying thing is the site was at the top of the page after inputting the government website. Bunch of thieves. AVOID USING AT ALL COSTS
so while this is a disgusting company...
so while this is a disgusting company, im not sure if its a scam to get your personal details
if you have paid them and are requesting a refund (which i highly advice) point out to them that you have the right to be refunded under EU law if no service is provided. after your initial refund request (which they will deny) let them know you have started the chargeback process with your bank and that one way or another you will be getting your money back.
their T&Cs are boiler plate refund policies, however, the real scam comes where they claim that filling out the initial form is itself a service and so a full refund is not in your rights as you have already used their product. im fairly sure this is borderline illegal which i think they are also aware of because as soon as i pointed this out and threatened a chargeback they gave me the full refund.
as for worrying about your information being stolen, they are a registered company (check company reg 16224581 on estonias company registra). this seems like an unnecessary step to take if you are simply trying to extract personal information as it leaves a paper trail
what i would be more worried about is their data protection setup, so i would also ask them to delete your personal data. when i asked this i got an email from their data protection officer confirming my personal information was removed. while this is no guarantee it is a good step to take.
i would take some further steps that someone else advised here by using a data breach service to track if any of your personal information is used. they recommended cifa which i don't have experience with but I will be looking into as a final safety precaution

My 16 yr old daughter was trying to be independent and apply for provisional licence. It should have been stopped by our anti-virus Norton product on her laptop (as it did mine when checked) but it didn't. I did not spot this until the £115 came off credit card and that was a week ago.

Do NOT use this company it is a SCAM
Do NOT use this company it is a SCAM. At time of writing I have not received anything for the money I paid. They have set up a legal company in the UK, so your bank will not do anything when you are mugged off by them. The parent company is in Eastern Europe (Estonia) so they will probably steal your identity as well as robbing you. Utter scum bags
Do not use this website it’s a scam
Do not use this website it’s a scam! They take your money and refuse to give it back even though they haven’t provided a service and use the t&c’s as the excuse every time you ask for your money back!

A Clever Scam
Nothing to say really, other than it's a complete scam. The use of very carefully worded T&Cs make it just about legal, but it's immoral and designed to mislead and con people out of their money.

Luckily I realised that it was a 3rd party site before making a payment. I’m concerned about all the data I gave them when filling out the form. It’s ridiculous that these types of websites even exist. Cashing in on people’s naivety.
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company. Didn’t realise this wasn’t the dvla website, got charged 115, keep sending emails asking about a license before which has been replied too, that was a month ago and had an email to say they will send a D1 out, it never arrived so the £115 has went down the drain, now having to apply for a whole new license, AVOID AVOID AVOID

Scammers
Scammers. Charged £115 for a provisional license after my son filled out the form for the website. Emailed 10 minutes after noticing and called my bank. Refusing to refund and said they will give me £20 as a good will. Don’t use them just use the dvla website
Terrible company
Terrible company. I didn't realise that they were a scam until it was too late. I was basically charged £95 for them to order me a D1 form. They offered £20 partial refund and a refund on the form fees and postage

Under no circumstances should you use this site. They dupe young people by making the process resemble the DVLA site. Cancelled within 30 minutes and they refuse a refund. Report to trading standards asap.

This site is legal, just over priced.
This site is legal, and all your information is safe. It is not under the DVLA but they are a third party company that basically fill the forms out for you and charge very high prices for doing so. They are not a scam site, just a very over priced one. I was admitted a 90% refund of £115 charge by simply calling 02045713272. Hope this helps and clears things up for people.
