Faulty Towers

Faulty Towers - Avoid!
This hotel has all the characteristics of Faulty Towers. The owner shouts at customers that report issues to him. He has no customer service skills and feels attack is the best form of defence.

The location is in azizya and the hotel is around 20 minutes from Haram by taxi. It can cost between 50 to 100 riyal one way. So in essence you are quite a distance away from Haram Sharif.

Our room would not lock, and we reported it at least 3 times. However, throughout our stay this was not fixed. Anyone could have walked into our room.

There was a trickle of water coming out of the shower for several days. At one point no one could shower in the hotel because the water went off. This was at a time when we needed it the most, prior to our departure to mina.

What can I say about the room that we stayed in. It was very basic with metal shelving units for storage. The shower room was tiny and there was hardly any room to move.

I would avoid this place at all cost - unless you want a Faulty Towers experience.

THE DOCTOR REQUIRES PSYCHIATRIC HELP

Whilst my trip was organised by a local group who did everything possible to make our trip a good one, EASY HAJJ the hotel we stayed in Azizya was anything other than average. I’ll start by highlighting the good things.

1. Food
2. The local Mosque which is across the road helps as The ka’ba Is a 15-20 mins drive away and can cost anything between 50-200sr during hajj.

However the not so good experiences outweighed the good by far. And I would be confident in saying everyone who stayed there would agree (and you only have to read other reviews to see this is correct)

1. The fat man with the glasses who owns the hotel I believe he has a doctorate of some sort is an arrogant, self scented coward. Who was constantly found SHOUTING at people whether workers or guests. One poor girl yesterday was in tears because of him, however due to a hardened heart he continued to shout at her until another brother intervened, and then he started to shout at the brother. The Lobby which is the main focal point of any hotel is tightly packed with rows and rows of foldable chairs which look like they have been taken out of a bus station. Walking up to the reception all you see is large Gold ornaments that look extremely tacky. The lifts to the five floor building are tiny and you could feel ill with just two people in there. The rooms well what can I say we had two single beds With bed sheets that didn’t fit no wardrobes to hang clothes other than the crooked rail behind the door. And the metal shelves which gave it a prison like feel. The shower OMG was so small if I had farted I could have fallen out. The shelf in the bath was bent so things kept falling off it. The sink and shower edges had been filled with what looked like putty rather than decorators cork and it looked really naff. The shower curtain kept moving so water continued to fall on the floor.

However I could have put up with all this what really spoiled it was the owners cocky “i’m Always right” attitude. He was extremely aggressive more than once and to more than one person, the last being a young lady. Thankfully the following morning having enough of the Fat mans tantrums we all moved out I believe at least 150 of us. Be careful this guy uses agents in the UK to fill this place so make sure when you book ask if you will be staying in Azizya and if the Answer is Yes please make sure it’s not EASY HAJJ LONDON UK. I have tried to be as honest as I can in this feed back and may Allah forgive me for anything that I said that was not true ( the comment about farting was just to make you laugh) although I hope I’m forgiven for that also.

To The Doctor. Honest and sincere advice from the brother. Please seek some Help. May be Anger Management classes along with people skills as you really don’t have any. I wish you all the best but I defo won’t be staying there in the future.

Went to Hajj in 2017

There was no help or support once the payment had been paid to them. Before payment constant communication from then answering questions and being really helpful. The (owner) old man with the glasses shouting and swearing all the days spent.

Medina, breakfast food ok, Hotel ok
Aziziyah, breakfast food bad, Hotel bad
Arafat, sitting on the road not enough tents
Mina, they take you there and you have to find your own way back

they spend a lot of money on advertising and it seems like it very professional but the reality is it's all fake, please spend that money with a reputable Hajj company.

Hannan Shah

If you are looking for a Hajj group where you, your mother and pregnant wife are abandoned and abused in the holy land on the day that you are leaving Makkah after Hajj for home. Then forced to make your own way to get your passport from the Saudis, make your own way to the airport to try and make your way out of the country and back home then this is the perfect Hajj group to travel with! If you want a better experience than this then my humble advice is to travel with a different group. Problems can arise with any group but there absolutely no justification for any Hajj operator to treat anyone in this manner. Think about all of the above and that happening to someone traveling with their mother and pregnant wife!

EasyHajj 2018 Hajj

Easy Hajj 2018 Hajj

This was an excellent company. We were struggling with whether to go with them or another company group. In the end we chose easy hajj and were glad we did once we heard about the problems that the other group had with their hotels and transportation.
