Absolutely horrible experience. Tiny room, even after paying extra—no space, no wardrobe. The smell is so bad you can notice it from outside the hotel, and inside it’s unbearable. No cle... See more

What a wonderful peaceful stay. The staff are so friendly and really could not help enough. Check in was quick and easy. As soon as I walked in i was met with a smile and a friendly chit chat. Definitely worth a stay. I will be back!!!
Cute hotel
Me and my partner stayed in an easy hotel in Liverpool city centre. Staff were very polite on arrival and we were given free early check in as it was raining quite bad. Room was cozy and clean as well as the rest of the hotel. We also asked for extra amenities and was given them with no issues. Overall stay was amazing!
Terrible service, no airconditioning!
Terrible service! Lying staff. We stayed here half may 2024. We booked a room with air-conditioning, for 3 nights, which was paid in advance. This hotel claims it has air-conditioning, but it doesn't. It only has an "eco-friendly climate system". That's not the same! You can only turn the temperature up or down with 1 degree. When we arrived, it was 24c in the room. We were told we had to wait 10-15 minutes and it would easily become 18 degrees. We did, we waited an hour, nothing happened. Still 24c. We went up and down to reception and then got another room offered. Which was the one next door, which of course had the same lousy system and the same inside temperature: 24c. We again were told to wait 10-15 minutes. By then we had enough, we didn't believe it would work this time. So we agreed with the guy to leave and get refunded. I asked for a receipt or any other proof of the cancellation. That wasn’t necessary, we would get refunded within a week. Stupid enough, we believed that. Of course, they didn’t refund. So after a week, I called. The same guy answered, he remembered us, and again assured we would receive our refund. They only refunded the carpark costs, but not the hotel costs. So I called an e-mailed, and finally received an e-mail, stating we were offered an alternative and it was our own choice to not accept that. We didn’t accept, because the alternative had the same problem! I replied about that, but they don’t respond at all anymore. They could’ve come with an offer, like paying for the first night, refund the other 2, as they easily (and probably) could rent that out again. Instead, they chose to back up their lying staff and to not satisfy their customers.
Glasgow easyHotel
Glasgow easyHotel; lift out of order, we're on the 4th floor, an unwanted bit of exercise prior to (and the end of) a night out. Walls so thin you heard every door open within 10 yds - all night. And the (not made to measure) blind, do your job, stop light coming in, at least we had a second pillow to put on our head, oh wait, guess what? And the bathroom designed as if you're on a plane, a truly memorable night's experience lol, never again. And yes, I hear some say, 'you get what you pay for', and you are correct. Makes Travelodge seem 4*
Worst hotel experience ever!
Stayed here in Newcastle and it was a terrible experience, no hotel has come close. First of all, the hotel was filthy, the rooms were smelly and overall disgusting, secondly, the staff were dressed like bouncers and were rude - and even spoke down to us (being a young couple we found this extremely offensive) and lastly, a large group of young men were in the lobby at the time we were checking in hurling abuse at people as they walked in and overall were being a general nuisance which all 2 front desk receptionists did nothing about - instead they just completely ignored their presence despite them verbally harassing customers walking through the door.
Can hear everything
Before writing my review, I took time to read the first 3 pages to gauge how others viewed they stay. It seems Milton Keynes and Croydon came out worse!
As for me, I needed an A/C room for 2 night when we were getting ‘heatwave weather’. I’ve never used EasyHotel before and initially found it refreshing as I entered the room. As the evening went on, it revealed that everyone can hear everyone, in the shower, on the toilet, as well as we can hear every detail of noise in the corridor too. My room in Manchester was furthest down the corridor from the reception (which had a huge sign that mentioned a quiet nights sleep). The mattress was comfy but the lack of pillows was disappointing, that being said, lay in a nice bed with A/C was bliss. A shame that the location in Manchester is 1 street away from Piccadilly Gardens, so street noise was present throughout the night. Either that or someone talking walking up the corridor going to their room, or upstairs or next door saying something. All in all, it’s a small room, with a shower and toilet that everyone can hear, with lots and lots of noise around. Overall, as I’m staying for 1 more night, I’m going to use earplugs tonight and add a towel to my pillow height.
Huge positive though, it’s at the heart of where everything is in Manchester, so I’m delighted!
Not a great stay, but comfy/clean bed, shower/toilet, A/C. It’ll do for what I need it for.
Totally inaccessible for disabled
Arrived Sheffield, 08/07/24, supposedly for 5 nights in an accessible room. I knew of the trams out the front, but no mention of NO disabled access anywhere due to double yellow lines everywhere else. I struggled to open the front door then had to walk upstairs to get someone to carry my case. The room was a good size as was the wet room, but had just 2 coat hangers and not a shelf in sight. I asked for more hangers and a table - neither were available. I was told that Easy hotels were really just for a night or two
(my booking clearly stated 5 nights) and that guests "live out of a suitcase". I'm disabled and totally unable to keep bending down. I was so upset and I was given a full refund, even though I'd booked a saver, so I've no problems with the staff, they were lovely. I managed to book 5 nights at Travelodge which cost me over £100 per night, but I needed to be in Sheffield so I'd no option. The website should state that the hotels are only fit for an odd night and is hardly accessible for those who need it
Essentially a filthy building site. AVOID!
Had booked a room for the 5th and 6th of July ant a cost of almost £400. Arrived to find a hotel which looked like a building site. The floor was plywood. Tape everywhere. Dusty and dirty. The room had stained walls. There was no hand soap or shower gel. The bed was solid. There was continual noise both from inside and outside the hotel. The shower temperature could not be adjusted and so was either freezing cold or red hot. Asked at reception for an extra pillow. At first she advised me that the hotel only had enough pillows for one per room and they had no spare. She returned to the room 15 minutes later with a pillow. However on inspection, it had blood on. Spoke with the receptionist and he advised that there was no manager nor was there an on call manager. For almost £200 a night, I’d expect much better. The hotel has refused a refund. Avoid.
The reviews say everything
I stayed at this hotel in London for 2 nights. The room doesn’t have one single shelf or a bed side table, even in the bathroom. We had to place everything on the floor and kept everything in the suitcases. My husband had a bed knee and struggled a lot. There is no chair either. The bathroom had a very tiny low sink and tall toilet with no lid. They say it is pet friendly, but don’t mention fees until you are there, when I am already paying for the room and they don’t offer anything yo the dogs. I paid £328 , which was not cheap. It is quiet, clean and staff in reception are nice.

Hi all,
I would like to thanks all stuffs who are working here Especially ''Ms. Aysha'' who has a lovely smile to customers and helpful . she is one of great worm welcoming stuffs. Thanks again Aysha for lovely coffee this morning.
Lovely stay
Lovely stay at the travel Lodge again. Austin the guy at reception was exceptional should be given a pay rise for his outstanding service. Room was compact and very nice with everything you need for a night's rest. Central location.
EasyHotel-Reading. An absolutely brilliant hotel!
Hello all,
I stayed at the Easy Hotel- Reading from 19/04/24-21//04/24.
I was extremely impressed with this budget hotel. The staff and the Manager were very helpful and friendly too. They could not do enough for me.
I stayed in one of the windowed front rooms, the room was small and compact but just what I needed. The room was modern and the bathroom with a frosted glassed room which was extremely clean too .
The bathroom had a large shower gel dispenser and the basin hand gel too. The towels were clean and if you required extra towel all you had to do was pop down to the reception staff who would give you extra towels and also exchanged your used towels too.
The linen on the beds were clean and well presented too. The room was very well decorated and the plug points and chargers just right beside the bed excellent located.
The room had air conditioned and a digital unit you could a just yourself too which was great.
The lighting in the room was very impressive and very modern.
On one of the days it was a very hot day and the manager/staff had over ridden all the room air conditioners unit to make sure the rooms were cool for the residents on return which I thought was extremely thoughtful of them too! Well done!!
I would definitely recommend this easy hotel in Reading. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely use this hotel again.
This hotel was is also walking distance to the town centre and very well precisioned too! With local shops should you forget anything.
Well done to all the staff and management too!!!
Kindest regards,
Julie McFadden
policies are more important to them then customers health & safety!
My Email: Hi i just literally made a booking for next week about an hour ago, but i need a full refund. Reason why i need a refund is because, I just checked out of your hotel in Croydon. I walk to my car which was parked on the side road to find out someone smashed my car window. My car window is fully broken and I feel scared to even come back to this area! Nothing was taken but it's the fact that I do not feel safe in that neighbourhood anymore! I booked next week before I left the hotel, if I left the hotel first I would of seen this damage to my car and not have booked the room. Please may you cancel my booking with a full refund. I am really scared and my anxiety levels have reached a new high.
Easyhotel's Response:
Dear Mr Khayum,
I hope this email finds you well.
We are sorry to hear about your car window being smashed.
However due to your booking policy we cannot provide a refund as it does mention ' No free cancellation '
Kind Regards,
EasyHotel Team
Not good!
Worst hotel iv stayed in by far. Wasn't expecting pure luxury due to the price being so cheap compared to others....BUT.
Room was clostrophobic . Every time I turned I banged into wall.
No shelves or bedside table so had to balance cups etc on bed.
Literally had to lift my suitcase onto the bed to get floorspace and then vice versa when I slept as no room to store anything. No cupboard either.
Bathroom is awful like showering in a cupboard.
Stayed for 3 nights. Bin was never emptied.
Quite noisy also.
Reception staff were lovely but it was a small compensation to be honest.
Absolutely sh*tshow of a hotel moldy…
Absolutely sh*tshow of a hotel moldy dirty small rooms would not recommend to anyone to stay at this place the staff are rude manager finds complaints funny and reduces refunds never again will I step foot in there. Worst trampy hotel in history. You would be better sleeping in a tent
I’d like to say how my partner and I…
I’d like to say how my partner and I had a wonderful night stay at the Croydon easy hotel, but I can’t.
1st but somewhat of no real importance was the lack of any kettle in the room or tea and coffee provisions except the machine charging £2 for a disgusting cup of tea and coffee in the foyer downstairs.
2nd having a so called wet room instead of a shower. Admittedly it did work, but you open the door to it to smash your legs into the toilet!
3rd the squeaking bed! It sounded like tortoises having sex ( not pleasant )
4th the walls made of paper. I could the next room breathing and the alarm going off in the morning
5th the lack of any shelves to put anything
6th aircon not really working at all
Will we go back?
No chance
Great for a one or two night stay
Great for a one or two night stay
Room very small but has all amenities we needed.
Staff very helpful and friendly
This was Easy hotel Dublin
This should be Zero stars
This should be Zero stars. I live abroad and My Daughter lives in Croydon and has been made homeless suddenly today. I booked her into this hotel for 4 nights, but because she didnt have ID, this hotel wouldnt check her in, they rang me and told me they wouldnt check her in, and said that I could not have a refund. This means she now has to sleep rough on the streets of Croydon for 4 nights. If anything happens to her, I will be holding Easy Hotel Croydon fully accountable. The person on reception was extrememy rude. When he called me he used my first name he didnt even say who he was or where he was calling from. I will be taking legal advice. I will never use this hotel or chain of hotels. . I have never had to provide ID at any hotel I have stayed at, These were extenuating circumstances for my daughter and my daughter is now in danger. This is disgusting
Not Bad Price All Things Considered
I stayed in Oxford. Small room, but well running facilities, modern and cleanly. You definitely get more bang for your buck, especially during my 1am walk in, booking for a room on the spot out of nowhere. Thanks to Sarah and Adiana for being helpful and welcoming at reception.
Would've preferred a midday depart deadline but you can't win them all. I got given an extra hour over the standard 9am leave time due to my late entry.
Some staff are fantastic
At Easyhotel in Milton Keynes you have a great member of staff called Robert. I have stayed several nights each of the last 3 weeks (new job in Milton Keynes!) and Robert has been helpful, polite and patient. I wish the rest were as good as he is.
