I have been using Ebay US for long time (as buyer and seller) and I grew trust on them.
Now, that I started using Ebay IE, it is a horrible experience!
4 out 5 items I bought got broken within few months and the worst thing is there is no support from Ebay as well as seller (they just wont answer your message).
Finally, I am surprised to see there is no way to complain or review the seller either !
So, I am just deleting the Ebay account for good.

I don't even know where to begin. Customer support will reply to you with scripted responses but won't actually resolve anything. If you request that your issue be escalated it will be directed to ebay's team of experts residing somewhere around Uranus & your plea for assistance will be consigned to the folds of oblivion where the 5-7 business days response time morphs into 5-7 millennia....if you are lucky you can expect a reply (one that might actually resolve your issue that is) by the year 9022 AD! They change the user interface to make the site less user friendly, they'll impose limits & restrictions on you, they'll charge you fees on postage / packaging & fresh air even though they don't own or operate any of these things. Ebay will hold you responsible for delayed postage even though you won't be the one delivering it, make you liable for loss & damage even though the buyer, not you, will have paid the carrier to transport it, will expose you to fraud with buyers pulling scams, will insist upon direct debit access to your bank account in case you disagree with any of the aforementioned so they can take your money at will, they'll completely fail you in the most miserable fashion imaginable & will charge you for the privilege. I only wanted to sell a few DVDs but instead I became responsible for the postal service, insurance, customer vetting & profiling, fraud prevention & investigation, transaction services & I must also agree to all terms & conditions, no matter how ludicrous, as imposed on me by a multi billion dollar, soon to be no more, company who'll ensure that you & you alone bear the all of the costs & risks while they take the lion's share of the rewards. They own a platform...that's it. They don't own the goods being sold on it, they won't help you sell, they'll hinder you, they'll fleece you & will laugh & smile to your face while they do it. Abandon all hope all ye who enter Ebay for you have entered the lair where the monster of greed with vast unethical corporate morals only has eyes for what once was yours, but by a thousand cuts Ebay will take it all.

The eBay Global Shipping Programme should be a complete embarrassment to eBay. It’s tracking tool whilst being full of data and details about your parcels progress to you, is in reality hopeless and it is rather like following a bus service across the supplying country (in this case the US). The suggested delivery dates provided will constantly change (always for the worse) and the eventual suggested delivery date of 6 weeks (yes in my case 6 weeks) is pathetic and is a massive backward step in customer service/support and eBays performance.

Everything has run smoothly re buying items & deliveries. Navigating the options can be a bit confusing. Happy customer.

I think Ebay Managerial Stuff should start looking for a new job soon. I Used to use Ebay before for selling occasional things (Mainly Camera Equpment) - Never again. They charged me flat rate 15 Euros for a popular camera that got in 7 days 10 views and a not a single BID. On top of that after 7 days they sujested to relist it for additional 10 euros - What a JOKE. Never Again. Good bye Ebay it was nice to know you.

Received a contrfait Louis Vuitton bag what cost me 1290. Lots of emails to EBay and seller =0 answer. Opened a dispute with PayPal and now have to return FAKE bag to seller at my cost!
Disgraceful experience, company is not taking responsibility for anything and worst customer experience ever! Avoid at any cost!!

Didn't receive an item and left negative feedback. The previous feedback to mine was also negative though we were the only two. Checked a week later to see if they had more negative feedback and my review and the other negative review were removed and they were back to 100%.
I have a claim with paypal which after I opened i received my first email from the seller

To the person who picked up my call at 14th march 2022 4.43pm, they just hung up on me without fixing my issue and covering it up with fluff to why they cannot help me. The issue was that my account was unjustly permanently suspended although I did nothing wrong.

I bought an expensive Writing Slope from eBay seller user name mdlicence123 owned by Matthew Licence in Folkestone Kent England I never received it Seller just cancelled. Don’t buy from mdlicence123 he’s a waste of time.

Please please please, avoid ebay.ie if you are a new seller or are planning to sell.

Even if you write that you sell items locally in your description, and a buyer from a country that is NOT listed in your items postage, guideline country
buys from you,
ebay will force you to sell to that buyer and force you
to give up your bank account details to pay fees that you should not even have to pay.

Their customer service is also terrible; they are most definately coached by their management to lie
to people, even when faced with facts and evidence
from their own corporation.

They do not help and just keep spouting the same rehearsed lines to give forward your bank details so that they can deduct money from your account, for something that is not even your fault.

Just avoid them, if you plan to sell online.

Terrible service if you are selling products, I spent the whole day itemising products taking pictures descriptions etc, you are allowed to advertise three products for sale when starting as a seller, so I had lots of products saved as drafts for future sales, all of a sudden they dissappeared from my page? I contacted customer service they cannot give you an honest answer between the lot of them ,all I wanted to know is were are my drafts for future sales gone? No-one seems to be able to answer my questions, one of the "characters" employed their suggested I itemize and take pictures again 😆😆😆avoid this outfit at all costs not a brain between them.

There is no support for customers who are getting scammed. Also since they left PayPal a seller has no protection against payment disputes.

Buy from amazon but never from ebay, i had a horrible experience with a seller and when i left my feedback ebay removed it, seller sent me emails insulting and laughing saying he was right in everything he described me, felt humiliated..sent message to ebay asking them why they removed my negative feedback and didnt get any answer..anyway, worst experience with ebay.

Feedback means nothing anymore. Sellers can have it removed by appealing. These days ebay work with fraudulent sellers, and enable them to scam people.

The last couple of days, I am getting harassed by eBay to upgrade my account and sign up for eBay Management payment. I therefore have decided to close my account. eBay claims they are just a platform but have not yet be able to sort they global shipping programs. Buying from the UK becomes a joke as compare to Amazon and other sides eBay does not distract UK VAT from Business Sellers and then add postage and import duties, no they take cross for net prices add shipment charges and import duties. this is double taxation and therefore eBays liability but they see it differently and are oblivious to the issue. So therefor good buy eBay fare well and good luck. You sold your last Item to me via your portal.

Postage is gone beyond a joke to Ireland plus now we have to pay duty 12 years and i wont be back

Ebay and paypal running a scam in Ireland in collusion with Chinese sellers. They would sell a listing from within EU, send a defective product and then ask to return item to China at customer expense. Ebay says no money back guarantee and paypal asks to return product to some address in China.
