The dehumidifier works perfectly and really pulls out a lot of water in a remarkably short period of time. It's being used in a wooden building where dogs are bathed and dried, and in the winter it can be very cold - so the fact that this machine blows out warm air whilst dehumidifying the room is a massive bonus. It's not massively heavy as there's no compressor etc, being a desiccant model, so it can be moved around reasonably easily but I would prefer to have a proper handle on it. I'm not keen on having to pen the louvre/lid manually to run the machine, as I can see that being forgotten at some point and who knows what will happen if it runs with that closed - presumably it will overheat and shut down rather than cause any major issues, but I would have preferred a safeguard to prevent the machine starting if the lid's closed. It's just a minor thing, not a big issue. And if there was anything else that I feel could possibly be improved, I think the controls could be simpler to understand. When I say controls, what I'm really referring to is what the circular LED lights are doing, and what the 1, 2 and 3 water droplet symbols represent. 3 droplets for example, does that mean I want my room to have high humidity or does it mean that I'm putting it into a room with high humidity and want to reduce it? I'm sure I'll get my head around it soon (or just leave the machine on full power all the time). Overall though, the machine works perfectly, it extracts loads of water even now that the weather's getting colder, it warms up the room nicely at the same time, and doesn't make a huge amount, and we're really pleased with it.
