I had an air source heat pump installed by ecofootprint . The whole journey has been smooth. I am passionate about being eco friendly and this is the perfect step to take. It is a bit more expensive to install than a boiler but it is well worth it when you see the savings. Thank you

I was put on to Eco Footprint by an online aggregator tool that organized 3 different installers to contact me.

After being bombarded with emails from other companies, Eco Footprint were the only one who actually called and had a human approach.

They sent over Shane who did a great job of listening to my needs and what I wanted out of the system. He sat with me and showed the full layout on the computer and produced a report that showed all costs, power and savings.

I would definitely recommend having Shane and the team if your considering going green!

The organisation could not have been better, every activity was fully coordinated ensuring a very smooth installation with the minimum of disruption. The installation team worked very well even with some difficult unexpected issues to overcome. This team were very sociable, easy to talk to and told you what they were doing and how things worked.

Knew nothing about Air Source Heat Pumps prior to speaking with Ecofootprint. From start to finish it's been a fabulous experience to be honest. Joe conducted the compliance survey, she explained it all to us, making the idea much less daunting. Installation followed around ten days later by very experienced and professional chaps.... who did drink plenty of our tea supplies! I suggest getting in extra tea bags... early days but everything is nicely finished and working perfectly. Thanks to Eco's office staff too...

Had my heat pump installed by Eco Footprint few weeks ago and I wish I had taken the decision to have this done years ago. The house has never been as consistently warm as you move around the house.
House is 25 years old and offered up its challenges but I am happy to say that the installers overcame everyone of them.
Thanks to Eco Footprint for providing me a great service and a warmer (and cheaper) house to run.

Add in Solar Panels and battery and the combination of both systems is a no brainer. Definitely recommend

We have wanted to have solar panels fitted for some time but we were concerned that our awkward roof line and it facing east/west would be a problem as well as the cost. We were impressed that Charlie had done his homework before he came checking the roof line and aspect making sure that the whole project would be suitable for us. He took us through the proposal step by step, answering our numerous questions thoroughly and clearly. Solar panels are a big investment but we were pleasantly surprised by how much the technology has advanced and the cost, in the current climate, seems so much more affordable. Then the surveyor came to thoroughly check the site, tweeks were made to the specifications which we were happy with and the installation date was set. The solar panels went up quickly and the electricians did a great job with the wiring and getting everything in place neatly and tidily. One glitch with the iboost not turning up was speedily dealt with by Gemma back in the office and a date was quickly organised for it to be installed the following week. The whole process was easy and efficient, we felt well informed throughout and couldn't be happier with Ecofootprint and the team. Also its great to see our system working, storing the extra energy in the battery and our electricity bill plummet.

We've just had solar panels and a battery installed by Eco Footprint and the entire service has been excellent from start to finish. Mark was really helpful and answered all our questions and was very responsive throughout the process. There was no 'hard sell' and, unlike some of the other companies we spoke with, he seemed to really know his stuff.

The system he recommended was a higher specification than the other quote we received (something we independently verified) and yet came in several thousand pounds cheaper.

The survey and installation went ahead very quickly once we'd decided to go ahead with the quote, and the team who did the install were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful and efficient and the work appears to have been carried out to a very high standard. The panels look great and all the wiring for the inverter and the battery is neat and professional.

The whole process from getting the quote to having everything installed and up and running has taken about 3 weeks, start to finish.

No hesitation in recommending Eco Footprint for solar panels!

Having changed to an electric car and installed Solar Panels we needed to eliminate our dependency on gas
Heat pumps with a government grant was an opportunity to reduce our carbon footprint and initial costs
We contacted 3 companies and one responded positively with our request for a survey and quote
Eco footprint responded within 24 hrs and Survey was completed within 4 days ,followed by EPC survey arranged by ECO Footprint 7 days later.
A quote was received which included upgrading 5 radiators
After the EPC survey a further 2 radiators were required which were added at no further cost
Communication throughout the all process was attentive and reassuring
The installation was carried out by competent engineers and the work was carried out on time with little disruption
The system is controlled by an app on my Mobile phone and I expect to recover our investment in 5 to 6 years at present Energy prices

We have just purchased our solar panels from Ecofootprint. After doing lots of research we settled with Ecofootprint as we received a very professional service from Mark and Gemma. From an initial home visit we felt no pressure at all, and Mark was very patient and answered all our questions. The fitters were very professional and informative and left everywhere clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend.

We had a heat source pump fitted by Ecofootprint. Few hiccups initially but they sent the A team to install. Cannot praise the engineers more. The family team who were brilliant. It was a big and quite complex job which they completed to a high standard.
I was worried about the noise from a heat pump but it’s minimal. The birds were singing louder. The temperature of the water is good and immediately hot. Unlike the water from a condensing boiler. The house has never been warmer when heating is on but currently haven’t needed the radiators on much as moving into warmer weather. The winter will be the proof. The SMART meter indication is that system is much cheaper than gas. I am learning how to work out programming the system rather than controlling just by the thermostat. Will also use the available App.
I recommend Eco Footprint as a company to deal with. Friendly and professional at each step of the way. Be sure to get the A team to fit the system.

Excellent account management and implementation. The sales person was really on the ball and quickly answered queries arising from competitive quotes. We were taken through the proposal and later printed off a copy to review more closely.
When the team came to install the system, it all went seamlessly. Scaffolding up on day 1 and panels fixed on day 2 followed by battery and inverter on the same day. So on Day 3 we are monitoring the system and watching the battery charge up. Really chuffed!

Simply a great experience from start to finish!

The biggest amount of praise to Mark & Daniel who fitted the system today. Utterly reliable and trustworthy, I was able to leave them in the property unattended. Their work was clean and tidy and communication excellent throughout.

Last but by no means least, a thankyou to Gemma for also providing support from the beginning to the end, excellent after care as well as initial.

4 day process start to finish, not only are the panels super efficient they also look pretty sleek!

My parents have had solar panels fitted and were so impressed they then had a heat pump fitted! They were in an out in no time, even cleaned up before they left. The standard of work is the best we have ever seen and the after care and support was faultless!
I was so impressed that I now have solar panels from them.....and have recommended them to a friend as well.
We are very happy with the whole experience, from first meeting to the after service.

Ecofootprint kept us informed in regards to the Scaffolding and Solar installation, fitters and engineers arrived early on the day and introduced themselves for identification and got on with the job straight away after inspection of our property for the fitting of equipments, The installation of Solar system went very well all the engineers were working throughout the day happy and chatting, They did a professional and tidy job explained and set up all the system after completing the work. Excellent professional work and experience. Thrilled
Unfortunately after 6 months I'm still having to chase up and rectify various faults and updates as completed work was never checked. After sales service and communication is rubbish. We have had lots of problems as our system have had faults which have been overlooked or ignored and not wanting to take responsibility. I have phoned ecofootprint requested many times so instead of taking action and getting things sorted and fixed they have passed on to manufacturers and now having to chase manufacturers instead of company I paid to supply and fitting which is not good. My system should have been checked after few days or weeks to make sure that it was working efficiently to ensure maximum benefit but nothing has happened and nothing was done by ecofootprint as I have been doing all the chasing. I believe our system has faults or not connected properly to maximise the benefits as 6 months after fittin.

I hope others find these comments useful.
I chose Eco Footprint over other potential suppliers as their sales teams were professional and knowledgeable and I was not committed to the installation until quite late on in the decision-making process noting that Eco Footprint initially spent time dealing with my questions and assessing the property all at their risk. Other companies required an upfront payment placing all the risk on me. They didn't get my business.
Now that the Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) has been in for a few months I can safely say I am delighted I made the conversion from gas central heating as I can visibly notice the savings to my fuel bills and of course I feel I am doing my bit for the environment.
My Experience:
The installation was not without its challenges but the staff and management at Eco Footprint were extremely helpful and courteous in dealing with issues that were all resolved promptly.
Installation of the ASHP and removal of the gas boiler was quick - effectively two days.
My early concerns (the possible noise of the unit outside) and the temperature of the hot water for showers/baths have proved to be unfounded. The unit is only audible when next to it and the water, whilst not as hot as plenty hot enough for showers etc. Unfortunately, our heated towel rails are not as effective due to the lower temperatures so really warm towels are sadly a thing of the past.
The unit, unfortunately, shut itself down the first evening it was running much to my annoyance. The reason being tiny amount of debris caused by the installation got caught in a filter and the reduced water flow caused the system to stop. To their credit Eco Footprint deployed an engineer that evening who diagnosed the issue immediately and showed me how to unblock the filter (5 minute job). The system shut down 4 more times that weekend for the same reason but I was able to clean the filter myself and reset the system. Now the debris has flushed through I have had no more problems.
Zoning. Not Eco Footprint's fault but Mitsubishi sent the wrong sensor so that for teh first 8 weeks the house could only be heated in its entirety without Zones. The part eventually came and was fitted by the electrician and now the house is Zoned and can be controlled by my phone - very neat.
Misleading advice. Frustratingly the sales team advised vaguely that the removal of the gas meter (to remove the gas standing charge) could be done for free if you stuck to your guns and refused to pay. This is not right. Utility companies play hardball and don't compromise. You pay in advance to remove the meter or else you keep the meter and continue to pay the standing charge.
Noise. Whilst the unit outside is inaudible unless you are close to it the sound of the pump unit next to the hot water cylinder is noticeable - not intrusive but noticeable- especially in the quiet of the night.
Bottom line:
I am satisfied with the Air Source Heat Pump? Absolutely yes.
Would I recommend Eco Footprint to others? Yes I would. There were challenges but Eco Footprint worked hard and quickly to resolve those issues they could directly address.
