We had our solar panels and battery fitted with ecofootprint. The team were a pleasure to deal with start to finish and went the extra mile to get the scaffolding removed quickly for us. The system is up and running and im confident that if there are any niggles or questions there would be no problem for me to ask. The only *tiny* complaint was that the packing boxes for the inverter and cigarette ends where left on the yard. But also the guys had had a very long day driving and I suspect it just slipped their minds. Would definitely recommend!

From initial enquiry to our panels being installed was a week. Mark was really good at explaining the work, Gemma a pleasure to deal with to sort out the installation.

The work was done in a day and was better than I had expected and now I have my own little power station on the roof and storage so those greedy power companies can’t rip me off as much now .

So happy the panels are on and we are benefiting allready from cheaper electric

Just recently had my solar installation, and I am more than happy with the quality of the work that has been done from the rep Mark & installers to the after sales team, Gemma & Birdi we’re brilliant at providing me with documents I needed promptly. I would rate there customer service 10/10

I didn't want to leave a review straight away as I wanted to check all was working ok.

I had a air source heat pump installed just after Christmas and my house has never felt so warm, very happy with the service and the quality of the installation and customer service.

I have just had a Sunsynk 6KW solar panel and 2x5.32KW battery system installed by Ecofootprint and overall had a very good experience (if not a little taxing at the amount of technical info I had take on board), thanks in the end to the focus of Gemma who brought things together. Here is some detail of how it went :

The initial process of assessment and quote was done over the phone and then a prepaid survey. This was efficient and smooth and they were quickly ready for installation.

A 70% “pre-installation” deposit was required and, as this was a bit of a leap of faith (I found the company on an internet search with no personal recommendation), I did research and kept in communication with the office, Bridey especially was very understanding and reassuring in this process.

Just prior to installation Mark suggested I switch to a new system (from the quote) which had better Depth of Discharge and built-in Uninterruptible Power Supply and I agreed.

During installation I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently 15 panels were installed (roof) and ready for connecting to the inverter/storage system.

The system was a new one to the company so there were some teething issues but, once he’d got his head round it, the electrician, Bob, was very good and got it sorted - in fairness each system has nuances in the control and set up of inverter and that means a deep understanding of each variant is needed for effective installation so well done to him for doing it at short notice.

During the next few days when teething problems due to the new system occurred, I have to say that Gemma really took hold of it, and made sure that things came together between installers, equipment manufacturers and me. She is friendly, responsive and helpful so credit to her for that.

As I write there are still a few things to complete (hand-over pack, G98/G99 and scaffold removal) but I am confident that these will also be resolved quickly.

Finally I should say that I would definitely recommend this company and give the following tips to anyone looking at a solar/battery system.

1. Know your current e-usage in kWh (year and season estimate if poss)
2. Determine your other requirements eg to work in power cuts, time needed to charge batteries
3. Finalise your specific requirements during the initial quote process and communicate them clearly to be sure that the system matches and for reference.

Fantastic company. Very efficient and do exactly what they say their going to do. Trust worthy and very happy with the service.

We've recently had a solar array fitted just before Christmas, we were massively worried about scaffolding blocking our drive as we had guests staying for the holidays, however, Ben made sure there was no prolonged wait time for the scaffolding to come down and everything was installed within 24 hour which I really wasn't expecting, I've already seen saving on my bills!
Thank you for the team, I can't believe I didn't switch to solar sooner, it would have saved me a fortune over Christmas!!

ECO Footprint installed an LG Therma V 14kw ASHP system in Sept 22. Pre-delivery and install went well with both initial sales and house survey handled efficiently.
System and 10 replacement radiators were installed efficiently with no mess by Jordan and Ellis in two days with electrical connections completed and start up on third day.
System has so far performed as predicted and expected and we are more than happy with the total service of installers and back office staff.

So impressed with the standard of work and what was achieved in three days including changing ten radiators.

To show our faith we have now commissioned a Solar and Battery Storage system from ECO Footprint Limited!

Heating system stopped working. Bridie took the call and handled it first class. Callum was the engineer who turned up to fix the issue. Brilliant guy who made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. Highly recommended

From conception to fitted and working took approx three weeks.
Excellent job, efficient workers and all done within a very short period of time.
Very very happy with the job, very happy to recommend this company.

Mark is a good sales man who wasn't pushy; priced it up over the phone using Google - so much quicker; answered any question I had even if research was needed; price match was honoured. He also helped afters sales when I had issues.

The products we received seem to be quality although we were worried when we ordered different ones. Turns out the system we got is better and suits us especially as we got a larger inverter so we could add extra panels.

Negatives
- many new staff, so some incorrect information given. E.g telling me I didn't need a smart meter from the installer - I did 🙈
- many new office staff who are polite and trying hard, but really need training so they can answer questions.
- I've spent hours and hours after the installation chasing for the MCS, DNO and applying for the correct tarrif.
- I didn't find out until 3 weeks after installation that I needed two tariffs - an export and an import- I thought Agile did both 🙈
- One member of staff is working from home with kids. I'm supportive of working mum's if they do their job well. But, she lied, made errors and caused lots of delays. There was a reason for some of the delays which I eventually found out talking to Richard from heat pumps. I wish she'd been honest! The company hasn't trained anyone else up to do her role. They need to! I ended up calling MCS and Northern Powergrid myself to sort things out myself. By doing this, I discovered the lies and definitely helped push things along. MCS were really helpful and professional. Northern Powergrid were prompt and went out if their way to keep me informed, not to mention contacting Ecofootprint themselves. This was really stressful and time consuming.
- Richard MD is elusive and never seems to be available. Also promised to call, but didn't!

Over all, we are pleased with what we have, but think the process could have been less stressful. Would I recommend them - actually, I have because we have got quality products installed well, at a great price. I've just made friends and family aware of the pit falls to save time and stress.

This company has the potential to be great, they just need to upskill more staff and iron out a few issues.

One last thing - they need to remove the scaffolding. We still have ours up a month after installation!

We had an air source heat pump installed recently. Few teething issues (to be expected given complexity of install) but the response from the team has been second to none. Was initially nervous given some of the negative reviews, but was reassured by Richard direct and was happy to take him on his word.

The unit we had installed was a Samsung, have to say runs really quiet and i'm now looking forward to dismantling my old Oil setup. If you decide to go with Eco Footprint i'd recommend you do a full flush through to get water up to pressure and to temp prior to letting the team leave the premise. In all, the team were great, competent and cleaned up after themselves.

We still have one outstanding issue with our ensuite not getting hot water but am assured this is being dealt with. Once sorted, i will happily revise this review to 5 star.

Bad experience with these didn't turn up on time electrician hasn't come back to finish off iboost not fitted and plinth heater not wired ecofootprint haven't been in touch with us very disappointed and dissatisfied

A great company, and people to deal with. I found their work ethics remarkable. My wife and I would highly recommend their services.
