I’ve been a customer of Edward Bond Wealth Management for over 10 years and have always been extremely happy with the service they provide.

I’ve trusted this firm to manage my pension for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with my adviser and the service both he and the rest of the team that supports the advisers have given.

I’ve seen steady growth and great results with my pension since working with this firm. They’re proactive, responsive, and always keep me informed. A top-quality financial planning service. Highly recommend !

I pay for annual advice as part of my investment. This year they were unwilling to do a face to face meeting and said that it would only take 5 minutes. Not what I expect. But OK, so eventually I agreed to the suggested date. They didn't contact me at the agreed date and I have not heard from them for about 8 weeks since. Wonderful service....I don't think.

I have been with Edward Bond for many years. I was meant to have received a phone call on the 15th of August.
I only received a call on the 5th of Sept after making another appt with then.
I was told in the short call that my Pension was going over to another provider, this Company will charge less in management fees and a better rate in return.
I was not given any choice in the matter, I was told that I would be receiving an email from the new provider. I was told there was no hurry to respond to their email as they have a 1,000 clients to transfer over!
But, I have not received an email and it's know 2 weeks later.
I have called Edward Bond since, to be told the new provider will be chased about this, but nothing.
I have sent Edward Bond 2 emails no response.
All this is really bad.
Please can this be looked into urgently.

This company has been dealing with my finances, they are very helpful, polite and professional. Always very easy to deal with

After being cold called 18 months ago by this Organisation offering a free pension review, a check to see if I’d been misold a pension and if I had any funds that were forgotten about an unclean girl turned up in paint stained leggings (saying she’d been doing some decorating that day!) to take details of my pension. When she returned a week later she had the same paint stained leggings on and had failed to perform any of the free service they’d dangled like a carrot. I found them very persistent and eventually when I did get a visit from their Financial Adviser he bamboozled me with terms and growth of my pension pot. I asked for a medium risk investment but instead today find out it’s a high risk 99.75% stocks and shares and 0.25% cash. I also find that in commissions paid to this outfit and a monthly charge I’ve lost £3000 off my pension. It’s also predicted that at retirement age in 20 years my pension fund would be worth nearly £2000 less than its current value! No growth whatsoever in 20 years! They take a monthly service charge but don’t actually provide a service! I also had several phone calls from these people asking me to sign a letter of authority to change the management from Edward Bond to Charles Derby, an act they’d already carried out without my authority! So Edward Bond is now permanently closed and they’re trading as Charles Derby with the same logo. No doubt a tax avoidance scheme but most likely to escape penalisation from FCA for mis-selling pensions that were unsuitable and basically helping themselves to what little those of us at the bottom of the pyramid have. They might as well of called themselves after a financial company owned by DiCaprio in a Scorsese film! This is an amended review as Edward Bond WM complained to trustpilot who ordered me to remove certain words that I felt described this lot accurately. No swear words were used! I apologise for any offence caused and this was unintentional as I was merely reviewing this company based on personal experience and opinion. It’d be nice if they apologised for losing money on my pension and selling a totally worthless and unsuitable financial product with Aegon whose reviews are also shocking! I’d also like to clarify the response from Edward Bond WM. My pension HAS lost value due to commission paid to Edward Bond WM and a monthly service charge plus Aegon’s monthly charge. There was some loss due to the financial markets problems in 2018 but not as much as they took in commission. I was cold called as I didn’t opt in for anything and when I was cold called they didn’t know my name! A recent statement from Aegon states 99.75% stocks and shares and 0.25% cash! The same statement also shows the pension value in 20 years time to be £2000 less than its current value. What sort of prediction is that except a very gloomy one especially when I’d been told by their financial advisor that my pension was underperforming with Standard Life! Well it certainly wasn’t haemorrhaging value like it is now therefore I was mis-sold a financial product!

The service provided by Amandeep was great, she was extremely prompt in answering all of my queries and she explained everything in much detail. I would highly recommend this company.

6 months on I'm still non the wiser as where my transfer of funds is..... the larger sum seems to have disappeared

No contact, impossible to get through too

It looks like I should have seen Simon Drake - however I didn't. So after meeting with a consultant from Edward Bond almost 9 months ago, supplying them with all my personal pension details, me chasing them for an update and to this date I am still non the wiser. For a self employed consultant not to engage, follow up and more importantly keep the client upto date is shameful and a loss to his income. Ive now found someone who is completely on the ball.

Simon Drake, from Edward Bond Wealth Management, has been my pensions advisor for the last four years. He’s a sincere and friendly guy who gives clear explanations on the state of the markets without using incomprehensible jargon and has produced year on year growth (something I didn’t see with my last pensions company). I would strongly recommend him to anyone who strives to cultivate their retirement pot.

Wow,how time flies,its 3 years since i signed up with Edward Bond,and not for one minute,do i have any regrets,my financial advisor Simon has guided me through the financial maze we face everyday,my pension is doing very well,all thanks to his guidance of Simon,who is a man at the top of his trade,constantly checking imformation of the financial world that effects us all,so thanks to his advice,i;ve no problems recomending this company,to anyone looking for financial or pension advice,happy days,long may it continue,thanks again.Steve.

Honesty and integrity are key factors for me in dealing with any one person or organisation. Having been with Edward Bond and dealing with Simon Drake personally for 2 years that is exactly what I have encountered with nothing short of a 5 star service....and as a bonus my investment has made staggering growth in this period of time. I couldn’t have made a better decision in terms of where to place my money and long live the relationship between Simon and I.

The man from the Prue was in charge of my pension it did not make a penny ! Simon Drake took over the asset well impressed with the financial rewards and his down to earth attitude and freindly nature

Simon Drake came to our house to help me with my pension about 3/4 years ago, We have had some very informative conversations about pensions and such like and I understand everything he says, he is very clear with the information he is telling us. I even recommended him to our friends.

Upon the recommendation from a family member we sought the advise from Simon regarding my existing pension, Some 15 months on the investment he recommended is doing very well in an uncertain market.

Absolutely useless! I made it clear in my initial contact, 3 subsequent phone calls AND a face-to-face meeting that I needed advice purely on an awkward overseas (Channel Islands) pension policy and NOT on any British based finances, which I am perfectly happy with. They assured me that they were able to work with my situation, but after a couple of weeks I received a letter from my overseas pension provider saying that they had received the letter of authority and as a result had changed my address (which I had not wanted them to do) and a letter from Edward Bond informing me that my pension was located in another country so they were not authorised to advise me! I now have to contact my pension provider to change my address back to what it was before, having had my time completely wasted by people who either don't listen or simply don't understand what they can or can't do.

Three years ago I answered a unsolicited call on my mobile which is something I don't normally do, this has proved to be a very wise decision that call was from Edward bond offering a free pension review. I accepted the offer and was visited by a representative of the company who took me through the options available I took the advice and changed my pension provider. My pension has over the last three years grown massively I would advise anyone to seek Edward bonds help.
