I've been an efax user since 2007. I was able to easily work with Iraia to find a plan that will meet my current usage. I have found it incredibly useful to have a virtual fax number that I can use whenever I travel.

I signed up for eFax’s 14-day free trial because I was seriously considering them as a long-term solution. What a mistake.
I tried to send the same 16-page PDF three times to the same recipient. The first attempt failed without explanation, so I retried. That failed too. I tried a third time, thinking maybe it was just a temporary glitch. All three attempts failed, not a single fax ever went through. eFax gave me no error details, no support, nothing to help me figure out why.
Then came the shock: instead of honoring the free trial, eFax charged my card €20. Why? Because their system counts failed attempts as billable pages and automatically tacks on “usage prepay” charges. So essentially, they charged me €20 for failing to deliver my faxes. Nothing was sent, nothing was received, yet my card was debited.
In other words, eFax lured me into retrying the same document again and again, knowing it would keep failing, just to trigger more charges. That feels like a scam.
I cancelled immediately, but the damage is done. I paid €20, got nothing in return, and walked away with a terrible first impression. If this is how eFax treats new customers on a free trial, I can only imagine what happens once you’re locked into a subscription.
My advice: stay away.

I am glad that my issue was resolved but it took several weeks for this to occur. It was frustrating that I had to wait this long to get back into my fax service.

Faxing is fine but they make cancelling very difficult, and it is obvious they do it to get more money out of people. Very shady company.

I am a busy doctor and zero time for wasted time. About 25% of the time I send a routine fax it says FAX NOT SENT. I then have to log onto old website to get it to send. I would have given it 5 stars until some moron at efax just had to do some system upgrade. it is always some idiot trying to make things better that just ruins it. Sine then I have to make sure fax goes thru and that 25% it doesn't then log onto the old website. WASTED TIME. THANKS FOR NOTHING.

I’ve had a great experience using eFax, and I wanted to take a moment to share what really stood out. First of all, the platform itself is incredibly user-friendly—sending and receiving faxes digitally has never been easier. It saves time, eliminates the need for physical equipment, and keeps everything organized in one place.
But what truly made my experience outstanding was the customer support I received. Yesterday, I had a question and was helped by someone who went above and beyond to assist me. He wasn’t just doing his job—he was genuinely committed to making sure everything was clear and that I was taken care of. That kind of wholehearted support is rare these days, and I really appreciated it.
It’s clear that eFax not only provides a reliable product, but they also invest in quality customer service. It makes a huge difference when you feel heard and supported, and that’s exactly what I experienced. Kudos to the team!

Up until this morning, 8/3/2025, I had only eFax one time, sending some urgent material to the IRS last December. To my horror this AM, I could not find any of my note about how to log on and use eFax. All I could find was a bank statement for their automatic monthly bills.
I called eFax support, and support lady Eveldina got it figured out, so I can use it again. Her boss should give her an immediate raise!
