This trip was a blast. Our tour guide was great about taking care of it all! My job, as a chaperone, was to help manage my students behavior and to make sure they were on-time. The rest was up to my tour guide and the great EF Team scheduling tours, hotels, transportation, etc. The kids learned SO MUCH and laughed and played the entire time! We’ll be taking another group soon. If you are a teacher considering taking kids abroad, GO FOR IT WITH EF! They support you from start to finish. What a gift these kids received in traveling abroad with a safe, scheduled, fun, informative agency like EF Tours.

I joined my 16 year old as a chaperone for this trip but it was so special because I took the same trip when I was 16. I feel like we got a great variety of experiences and our guide Leo was fantastic. We always felt safe and managed while getting a sense of independence while exploring the beaches, the countryside and the cities of Spain.

My sons were well supervised and got a lot of exercise and learned so much about the wonderful historical and beautiful sites they visited.

Tours were very nice. Tour guide was not as friendly and helpful as I hoped. Meals were NOT celiac friendly nor filling.

Thank you for great experience in Spain. Group enjoyed every tour. Food could be better (breakfast or diner). But tours were great. We all love it.

It was good. We really enjoyed the excursions; everything was very well coordinated, and the local guides were very good with the students. Logistically, EF can show their years of experience.

Amazing Cultural Experiences! My daughter learned so much about Spanish culture and history during her visit to Madrid and southern Spain. Her flight home was delayed because of strikes in France, which resulted in a two-day stay in London. EF Tours was able to arrange a tour of London on short notice, which was wonderful!

Get the breakfast and dinner together and the trips will be better.

Instructions were straightforward with clear deadlines. The itinerary created extra excitement and allowed us to picture where our son was each day of his wonderful experience!

EF actually NEEDS TO give the groups better meals and have DIFFERENT MENUS CHOSEN- the locations should NOT be left to pick what the groups eat as we got too many exact repeat meals and NEVER got a typical Spanish paella!!!

Overall a wonderful experience for both my sons. Magnificent places to visit and they loved the EF Guide who was with them throughout. I regret I don’t recall her name. Negatives: The food was terrible. They thought Spain just had bad food, and of course nothing could be further from the truth. Obviously it is challenging to feed 40 kids at a time, but EF should really work on creative alternatives—breaking up into small groups, eating at off times, something! Both my sons were ill during the trip. There was very little support provided. They were forced to participate in long hot days of site seeing despite being nauseous. I don’t know if this was the fault of their school group leaders, but EF should have better protocols in place to deal with individual sick students during a large group trip.
