There was no choice given for food, long layover flights and canceled few things that was not right.
the whole trip was amazing
It’s a very good experience, my daughter back home really loved the trip and the people to make this experience happen. Thank you so much, to the team! 🫶🏽
AMazing trip learned hands-on Greek history!
Excellent!!
Had a great tour and visited many popular sites.
This entire tour was educational, culturally rich and fun.
Exceeded expectations.
I don't know how EF managed to pack so much into six days, but I am glad that they did! Wonderful balance of history, culture, food, and free time! Highly recommend the walking food tour!
My girl had the time of her life!
There was a lot to appreciate. The itinerary was interesting and well curated, the students had meaningful time in Athens, and the Argolida portion was a genuine highlight. The experience felt full, which matters. The travel logistics, however, were a significant problem. On the outbound journey, students and teachers were required to be at the airport at 4:30am for a flight to Toronto, where they then waited nine hours – confined to the airport – before a 5:30pm departure to Athens. Direct flights from Philadelphia to Athens exist, and if those were not available, Newark is 90m drive away with many direct flights to Athens. The Toronto routing is difficult to explain, and at that price point, families deserve one. This also sits oddly alongside EF's stated commitment to environmental mindfulness; unnecessary connections add emissions, even if that's not yet reflected in EF's responsible travel framework. The accommodation choice compounded the problem. A beach hotel at the end of March offers little given known weather at that time, and it required students to commute to central Athens rather than being embedded in the city they came to experience. At $4,000+ per student, routing and accommodation decisions should reflect genuine care for the student experience. The trip was also simply too short – five nights is a narrow window for a destination this rich, and the hours lost to the outbound travel ordeal made it shorter still and had the children even more exhausted than was warranted. Better routing could have recovered a day, or made the case for building one in. I'd encourage EF to revisit all of this when planning future iterations of this tour.
Loved this experience. Minimal complaints. We’re already booked for another experience. Can’t wait.
Athens was just an a amazing trip
My teenager was part of a school World Cultures Club who travled to Athens and Argolida. From beginning to end, it was organized, informative and very easy to participate in. My son had an amazing time!!!
Great trip. Educational and beautiful. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the hotels were hit or miss.
Athens and Argolida was a great introductory tour for teachers just starting with EF. It was not too slow or fast-paced, and had a great mix of experiences.
My son loved his trip to Greece. I was relieved knowing that he was safe with in time updates from the trip leader regarding boarding planes, landing etc.
The trip was absolutely amazing, I couldn't recommend it more.
Literally so peak
