Our tour guide was amazing. The destinations were wonderful. The activities were fun. The cruise ship was the worst cruise ship I’ve ever been on

Athens was not nice. The islands were nice though.

The kids like Greece but the sleeping accommodations in hotels and the cruise were terrible. The cruise cabins had no air conditioning and the kids were obligated to sleep in the heat. My daughter arrived sick from the trip.

We enjoyed our tour - our tour guide and itinerary were great. The accommodations, especially the ship we traveled to the Greek Isles on, were not good. I would travel with EF again, but would steer clear of any itinerary that includes a cruise.
large tour groups tend to be inefficient we had almost 50 people lots of time wasted loading and unloading tour bus and waiting for others at the meeting points. left athens over half hour late for delphi almost an hour at the olive grove stuck in traffic at delphi missed tour guide and wasted another 20 minutes until she arrived. promised one hour of free time at delphi it was reduced to 3 minutes and we didn't even have a chance to see the delphi museum we had to get to the restaurant before it got overcrowded. similar experience at most other historical sites being rushed through everything. paid a lot of money and traveled halfway around the world to see these sites and felt shortchanged for the experience we actually received. cruise ship was nice but no air conditioning or hot water the first 2 days. fresh towels every other day at best. served the best food the first day. long lines at the cafeteria by the time you got to the buffet the best food was gone. not enough seat capacity you had to wait and sit at a dirty table. waitstaff mostly pleasant except for one time i asked for a glass of water and i was told "go get it yourself".
The tour included a cruise, but unfortunately, the ship was very poorly maintained. Throughout the trip, my son and his roommates endured nearly the entire journey without air conditioning and suffered through two nights without hot water. The ship's standards fell significantly below expectations, particularly considering the cost of the EF tour. While the hotel on the final night met expectations, the accommodations for the first two nights were subpar, resembling those of a budget hotel. Additionally, the tour group consisted of about 33 individuals, mostly students. EF Tours combined our group with another tour primarily composed of older people, leading to a mismatch of interests. Consequently, it felt as though the tour guide catered more to the desires of the other group. At one point, they were even rushed because the other group wished to visit a Turkish carpet shop, whereas my son's group was more interested in exploring and sightseeing. Despite these drawbacks, there were some positive aspects of the tour. They particularly enjoyed exploring the islands and participating in the Greek night festivities.
The tour and tour guides were amazing but the cruise and the restaurants in land can be better.
Beautiful islands, thus the two stars, but zero communication from EF or the cruise ship about the wildfires in Athens and Rhodes. Far substandard accommodations esp on cruise ship, given the high cost. Terrible Greek bus driver hired by EF. Never again.

Walking among the ruins of Western history is awe-inspiring. Seeing the Parthenon, the site at Delphi, Mycenae, Olympia, and visiting the Greek Isles was a dream come true. It brought the students to live history instead of just reading about it. What a fantastic opportunity this trip provides!

Great value considering everything included in the trip cost, and so much easier and efficient to have everything planned out. My daughter will definitely go on another EF trip next summer.
Poor cruise experience
The excursions were good, the cruise was nice. The food options were also good.
Its not my experience but my daughter Kennedy. I received pictures of the entire trip and it was well worth the money and the cruise was wonderful. The city of Arachavo was spectacular that now I want to go.
We dis not get what we paid for. Cut out a lot of our excursion time. We sat idol when there was so much to explore in Greece. It made us feel trapped.

Fantastic guide, food, activities, and an excellent experience for my teenage daughter to see the world from a different perspective.
Eye-opening, filled with rich history, good food, and even more wonderful people
Athens and the Islands is a trip that everyone must do! The cruise gives you lots of down time to enjoy on your own! Athens is such a beautiful place and the best to experience the history of the country!
Greece was amazing and beautiful. Great trip. The amazing EF tour director Milos made all the difference!
