Missed paid excursion to Mykonos. Their day in Santorini ended up being only three hours because they never got the kids there until 5:00 p.m. and had to leave by 8:00. Additionally a male employee on the cruise ship went to my daughter's room and attempted to lure my daughter and two other girls (ages 15 and 16) off the ship, promising to "sneak them through security". Luckily the girls went to their group and tour leader, but once it was reported the male employee was only given a warning and remained on the ship. This is unacceptable. Finally, they group was grounded in Canada on July 1st due to weather and had to stay over in Montreal. Rather than put the group on a non-stop flight into a regional airport they chose to fly them to Toronto first and have them stay overnight AGAIN, then split them into three groups to fly them out the following day, with two of the three groups making connections in Chicago and Atlanta. My daughter was on the Atlanta group and her group was not allowed to board their flight because there was some missing luggage. So they got grounded AGAIN. We were told they'd have to stay over a THIRD night and EF Tours would "TRY" to get them out on day three. In the meantime there were MANY non-stop flights going out to Philadelphia, Newark, JFK and La Guardia airports that these kids could have been split up and put on (they had two chaperones with their group). They may not have even had to split them up because I checked multiple flights and was able to secure 9 seats on my end on several of them. I fully believe EF Tours was trying to book the cheapest options to get these kids flown home and didn't care how many days these children had to be stuck in Canada. That's completely unacceptable! Myself and two other parents contacted EF Tours emergency line directly and in order to get them out of Canada and not have them stuck a third night we made arrangements to pay an additional $237 fee to fly our three children home on a non-stop flight into La Guardia and drove two hours to pick them up that night. Since their original flight was cancelled, and the second flight EF Tours arranged they were not allowed to board, I think it's absurd that we had to PAY to get them on a flight. EF Tours should have looked at that and put ALL the group on that flight, the priority SHOULD have been getting those kids ALL home as directly and expediently as possible. As a result, our three girls ages 15 and 16 flew without a chaperone on an international flight from Toronto to La Guardia, navigating ticketing, security and customs without an adult. Again, this should have NEVER had to be the case had EF Tours prioritized the welfare of these children rather than prioritizing keeping their expenses down. I will NEVER recommend an EF Tour to anyone after all these problems.
It was great with some bumps along the way.
Touring Athens was absolutely awesome! Tour guide was amazing! Weather was great, sites were just simply incredible
Greece is beautiful and rich in history.
Awesome trip with awesome EF guides and leaders Stella and Izzy. Turkish tour guide was awesome as well! Very hard to find anything negative about the trip. Very educational and overwhelmingly beautiful! Would definitely consider another trip.
Overall a good experience for our son. Three stars are for the major mistake on the outbound flights. EF booked them out of the WRONG city. By the time it was caught it was way too late for decent fares so instead of owning this mistake (and paying the difference) EF put them on a horrible/exhausting itinerary. Starting a trip like that is bad for many reasons - it was ridiculous and totally unacceptable. The included meals weren’t good, especially all the breakfasts. The quality of the hotels was just ok, locations were all on the outskirts so it would’ve been better closer to the city center. The amount of free time was good young travelers and the guidance/suggestions were always good. 5 stars for the tour guides and chaperones!
Tours were great. Amazing excursions, good food, and decent places to stay. Flights had long layovers making travel particularly exhausting. We were already traveling for 12 hours before we even boarded a plane for Athens.
Amazing trip, Greece was amazing! Best vacation I have ever taken.
Beautiful!
Tyler said the resort in Athens was excellent and he and his friends loved the beach.
My daughter still keeps talking about everything they got to see and the personal tour guide that they had did such an amazing job guiding them all around on all kinds of experience. I'm hoping to someday go myself to see all these wonderful places.
Trip of a lifetime! My son loved all of sites and tours on this trip!
I was just told by my son that it was an overall great experience and he really liked it. I am just responding as a parent who did not personally go on the trip.

My son had a fantastic time! Very well run and organized.
Thumbs up! Many stories! Great adventure
Overpriced and always the Longest and thus the cheapest flight. From Atlanta to Athens, Students flew to Toronto first and after a 6 hour layover , they took another flight to Athens for 11 hours. They were all exhausted upon arrival and took another couple days to get free from Jet lag. All because EF wanted to make a little extra money. No happy.
