My daughter was very pleased and had enjoyable time in Barcelona and Madrid. She was so delighted and as her mom this means a lot to me.

Our son loved the experience meeting other students from US High Schools, tours, history and travel abroad.

Good. Good service; the people in charge of the school trip my son went on were responsible, and everything was satisfactory.

I am writing on behalf of several travelers from our recent Spain tour to express the significant disappointment many of us experienced throughout the trip. One of my travelers, Ashley, has already submitted a detailed review outlining many of these concerns. She expressed that EF did not seem to adequately address the lengthy delay we experienced at Orlando International Airport, which set a discouraging tone before our tour even began. Unfortunately, the disappointments continued throughout the trip. Many of our travelers were extremely disappointed that we were unable to enter the Sagrada Família, one of the primary reasons many chose this itinerary. We also expected guided experiences at important historical sites such as the Museo del Prado and the Basilica del Pilar in Zaragoza. Without expert guides providing historical and cultural context, many travelers felt they were simply walking through remarkable locations rather than truly understanding Spain’s rich history and heritage. Perhaps the greatest disappointment, however, was the consistently poor quality of the dinners provided throughout the tour. We understand that authentic cuisine is an important part of experiencing another culture, and we approached each meal with an open mind. However, meal after meal left travelers dissatisfied. Instead of enhancing our cultural experience, the dinners became a recurring source of frustration and significantly detracted from the overall enjoyment of the trip. Ashley is one of EF’s loyal travelers. She traveled with EF to Italy in 2024, joined this Spain tour, and is currently paying for three members of her family to travel with EF to Greece. After this experience, she is seriously considering canceling that Greece tour because she fears it may be as disappointing as Spain. That should be deeply concerning. Ashley has invested a great deal of trust—and a considerable financial commitment—in EF because she believes in the value of educational travel. It would be unfortunate to lose a traveler who has demonstrated such loyalty and who has encouraged her own family to travel with your organization. I genuinely believe EF has an opportunity to restore that confidence. I hope you will carefully review the concerns raised by our group and consider an appropriate gesture that reassures Ashley—and the rest of our travelers—that EF values their loyalty and is committed to providing the high-quality educational travel experiences for which it is known. Thank you for taking the time to consider our concerns. I look forward to your response and sincerely hope EF will take meaningful steps to rebuild the confidence of our group, especially for those who have future tours already booked.

The food was not only terrible and did not seem to be with the locals were eating nor anything close to that, but it was also cold under temperature not fresh. The hotel was absolutely disgusting stuff on the sheets. Only one towel for two person room. We barely got to go inside any of the main attractions. Instead we walked outside.

Wonderful introduction to the culture, history, and geography of Spain.

I love Spain, however, for middle school students, I prefer travel to Costa Rica, where students stay together more, as they participate in outdoor adventures.

Amazing experiences. Great venues. Only complaint is not going inside Sagrada Família.

EF was very flexible and our tour guide was amazing! My students loved all of the activities that we did. The only issue was that we did not get to go in the Sagrada Família and my students were looking forward to this.

This tour was so much fun and filled with beautiful sights to see, including a hotel on the beach. Highly recommend to see the big cities of Spain!

We had a wonderful trip! EF Tours and Miguel were excellent!

Barcelona, Toledo, Montserrat, and Madrid were all so beautiful! Wish we could have spent more time at each spot!

This tour is the best of Spain. While the time in each city is short, it is just enough for travelers to get a taste of the culture, history, and beauty of the country. The food and activities during the tour were wonderful and our hotels were outside the cities, but they were wonderful.
