Great tours. Clean hotels, but located far from the city center. Dinners were terrible, with students having to order pizza delivery after. Very little solo time to explore.

In just 8 days we visited Barcelona, Montserrat, Zaragoza, Madrid, Toledo. We got to visit so many places, learn so much about the history, culture, and do so many fun activities for the students (among others: flamenco dance lessons, flamenco show, scavenger hunts, bingo games, karaoke, etc.). My students will never be same again and this means the world to me.
I want to start by saying our tour guide, Vladimir, was fantastic. He had a lot of energy, connected well with the kids, and managed a difficult situation with professionalism and care. We really appreciated his presence. That said, I do have concerns about other parts of the experience—especially the food. Serving rice and water to both adults and children after a long day of walking simply isn’t acceptable. Everyone was hungry and tired, and the meal felt insufficient and poorly planned. The “dessert,” a cheap cup of melted cream, was also disappointing. Additionally, the schedule was overloaded. Too many activities were packed into one day, and several of them didn’t feel age-appropriate for a group of seventh graders. A more thoughtful, balanced itinerary would have made a big difference.
Had an amazing time
The trip was fun, but the restaurants we were all brought to were horrible. We only had Spanish food once and it was the night we were on our own. Overall trip was great but a huge part of traveling is experiencing the cuisine of the country and we didn’t have that opportunity while in Spain.
The tour included all the major spots as well as giving flexibility for student interest
Smooth trip without incident
If you want to see as much as you can in just a week, this is the tour for you!

Spain is awesome because of food, culture, and scenery.
Our tour guide Isis was amazing. She made the trip. However, everything else was pretty lacking. We had already paid extra money because we were coming back on a different day for our airline tickets. But you booked us into the back row for all four of our flights. So I ended up having to pay over $700 to change our seats so that we weren’t in the back row for every single flight. That is absolutely ridiculous. In addition, a whole bunch of our group weren’t even seated with their own children. The hotels were subpar at best in horrible areas of town nowhere near where we were touring. And being told what I’m going to eat for every dinner is not the way I travel. I would never do another EF Tours unless things were extremely different.

My daughter and her classmates enjoyed their experience in Spain. Feedback I received from my daughter is to wear "comfortable" walking shoes as the tour involves a lot of walking each day. Other than that, my daughter is excited to return to Spain in the future. Thanks EF Tours for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our youth!
My son had a great time!
My son had a great time!
Thankful for the freetine
Loved it !!!
So much was seen, experienced, and loved on this tour, the itinerary allows for a crash course in the Spanish culture. Don't forget that there is a breathtaking stop in Zaragoza!
I would love to do it again 🥰🥰
La Sagrada Família and the Prado Museum were highlights. My son LOVED the flamenco show. He stated that the rooms were utilitarian, but you are not there for the luxury of the hotel. You just need a place to shower and sleep as you are on tours all day long.
EF tours is horrible! I would never use nor recommend this company for anything!
