An amazing and educational 12 day tour of many Italian locations.
This was my 5th trip with EF, and one of the best. We got to see a lot of the historic landmarks of Italy and got immersed into Italian culture.
Very much enjoyed the guide that was with our group the entire trip and the bus driver. EF was also helpful when a flight was cancelled.
Learned much about the cradle of Western Civilization and culture. Also lost 5 lbs in the process. It was a great experience.
Given frequent updates prior departure. Beautiful trip! Amazing tours!
Great tour covered all major tourist spots and seat
The time in Italy was amazing but being stuck at the airport on the way home and not being able to contact anyone from EF was a bummer
Our tour guide was amazing. Our group preferred to go see more things at our locations as opposed to shopping. She helped us find some really beautiful additions, especially with all of the strikes in Italy.
Nice to see things but was not able to enjoy them. Everything was so rushed.
Great trip
My daughter really enjoyed her trip. She had an amazing time. They had a wonderful tour guide , Fabio. Mr Lambert the tour leader was great putting this all together. Very well planned out. She got to see a lot of Italy which is wonderful.
Amazing, well planned, and memorable!
While we made memories on our tour, a few things stood out, leaving room for improvement. For example, when an itinerary says we are to visit something, I expect to visit it. There is a difference between seeing and visiting. A example would be, the tour literary consisted of visiting Saint Peter’s Basilica, which I was advised we would only see much to my disappointment. The reason given was this is a jubilee year and there would be a 2 to 3 hour wait. I can attest that myself and two other tour members explored Saint Peters Basilica and we were out in 20 minutes. There was no wait . Something else leaving room for improvement were the meals. Breakfast was almost the exact all nine days of the tour. At our last hotel, we were told we could not eat the fresh fruit because we were part of the tour and not a hotel guest. That is absolutely absurd. Dinner again was the same every night of the tour. I understand this is for economical purposes, but we sought out a McDonald’s because we were tired of the same meals each day. Lastly, our Tour Guide, while helpful at times it really makes a tour member uneasy when your Tour Guide says “Man, I hate this place” while visiting Vatican City. Most of the time she looked miserable & was not very friendly.
Get clarification on what exactly you will see and visit.
Excellent overall. Rooms were good generally, one hotel had bugs in one room. Tour director was amazing(Giorgio Osimani). Food was very good. Sights all fantastic
Way to expensive of a trip for the options given. Not happy with the hotels situation ls as well as NO food options. Will not do another EF tours ever. Recommend no one else to either.
The trip was fantastic, but I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to go on our original choice of the Grand Tour of Italy. I also didn't appreciate the people that we were grouped with on the bus. The trip was fantastic, and our tour director made the whole trip! If it wouldn't have been for him, I don't think it would have been as successful!
