My child is vegetarian, and although the organizers had asked us to provide his dietary requirements several months in advance, the meals provided were extremely limited. He was hungry much of the time, as the vegetarian options consisted primarily of vegetables with little to no protein. On one of the evenings, the only dinner option available to him was fries. The travel itinerary was also very inconvenient. The connections selected were particularly difficult, including a 6:00 a.m. flight to Miami followed by a 9-hour layover before the connecting flight.

My daughter did this trip and had a life-changing experience. It was worth every penny. I can’t wait to send my other children when they get older. As a side note, there was trouble with some flights due to weather and EF took care of everything and we had no concern.

Our TD made sure we were active and learning. He took excellent care of us with a minor medical issue. Students enjoyed themselves and parents were thrilled with how well everything went and how much their travelers learned.

This tour exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Our tour director did an outstanding job keeping everyone informed and prepared throughout the journey, which allowed both students and chaperones to focus on the experience. The hotels were clean, comfortable, and well-located, and meals were served efficiently, keeping our busy schedule on track. The itinerary provided an excellent balance of culture, history, and nature. Students were able to experience the unique differences between Quito, Otavalo, and the Galápagos Islands, giving them a deeper understanding of Ecuador’s people, environments, and traditions. Experiences like these help students develop a broader perspective of the world and grow as global citizens. The Galápagos portion of the tour was especially memorable. Snorkeling alongside sea lions, observing Galápagos penguins in their natural habitat, and seeing blue-footed boobies up close were highlights that students will be talking about for years. The destinations and activities were thoughtfully selected and showcased the incredible biodiversity that makes the islands so special. This was an unforgettable educational experience, and I would highly recommend it to any group considering travel to Ecuador and the Galápagos.

This was truly an amazing trip. We saw so many animals, sea lions, sea turtles, sting rays, sharks, tortoises, blue footed boobies, penguins, marine iguanas, lizards, sea birds, flamingos. It was the trip of a lifetime. Moving hotels each day was a bit tiresome. Boats between islands were rough. The people, EF and otherwise, were amazing.
