Unbelievable, trip of a lifetime. It was a great mix of history and culture as well as nature and little adventures. You must go on this trip! Our Tour Director was amazing. It's hard to list my favorite part because all of it was so memorable - highlights for sure were Safari, Robben Island & Soweto. It is worth the cost and felt safer on tour than places within the United States.
The trip to South Africa was an amazing, life shaping experience.
As stated, the trip was wonderful and learned a lot. The only thing that was frustrating was the two 10 hour airport delays and the room mix-up. I had paid extra for my daughter and I to share a room, only for this to had been a problem each time we switched locations.

Wonderful trip! Great safari with so many beautiful animals and close up! Great tour director Roland was so knowledgeable and patient with our big group.
Overall, it was great. Not only would I recommend it to others, I'd be happy to do it again some day myself. Accommodations, food, and tours were generally good. Tour Director Roland was phenomenal and a big reason we all enjoyed the experience as much as we did. We were a little annoyed by the Day 1 itinerary (having an intense full day of tours as soon as we arrived following 30 hours of flights and layovers) and we took issue with having to pay for water on the bus (honestly, if EF swapped the free backpacks for free water or maybe provided free re-fillable water bottles, I think all travelers would appreciate that way more). The safari portion was the highlight, as we had unbelievable good luck in spotting just about everything there was to see, all in a single day. I hope someone at EF is actually reading all of my feedback and acting on it to ensure my next adventure is even better. This was an incredible trip!
South Africa was fun. I enjoyed the safari and Cape Town. I am glad I did this trip. I'm not sure I ever would have got to go otherwise.

Our child decided to join along with classmates for a tour of South Africa. Great communication on what was needed on the lead-up to the trip. Actual tour was great for our child, they had a lot of memorable experiences and we feel had a lot of growth occur during the trip.

Excellent, we would highly recommend an EF tour after our daughter's recent trip.
Meals were excellent, hotels were clean, bedding was comfortable and mattresses were not old and lumpy. The sights we visited were amazing and well chosen.
