Insurance through EF tours was ridiculous.

The trip to Spain and France was amazing. Despite all the obstacles that we had last year with Covid, we still had an amazing trip. It was really organized and went smoothly. We visited beautiful places and we had so much fun. I will recommand EF for all students and parents who wants to travel with a peace of mind. Thank you EF

EF tours is a wonder with how they manage a global educational/travel platform. I have never once felt unsafe or unvalued by EF on any of my trips. Things go wrong, external to EF, on most trips but EF stands out as a company that protects and values its travelers. On this trip, there was an issue with the bus one morning when we needed to get to the airport. Our Tour Director (the most lovely and wonderful woman I know) immediately had it figured out and arranged alternate transportation for us without us even noticing something was wrong. On this particular trip, which included Portugal, we had a wonderful time. We got to experience everything we wanted (minus perhaps some time up close to the Eiffel Tower as opposed to a distance photo shoot), ate amazing food, experienced great service, loved our hotels, and survived the heat wave. In Barcelona, we swam in the ocean but got stung by Jellyfish larva. Our Tour Director immediately went to the lifeguard station and obtained some frozen saltwater bags to apply, we moved to the hotel pool, and had one of the best times on the trip. This speaks a lot to how quickly and efficiently EF can help us with our trip. I liked this trip due to having some time in Paris, and then moving to Spain. A lot of my students are surprised how much they like Spain since they were all so focused on being in Paris. Portugal was the highlight for us adults, and the students seemed to really enjoy this optional excursion so I would recommend it for everyone. Fantastic trip we will certainly do again.

My son could not stop talking about his trip. He and his sister loved it.

My son had an awesome time! He learned so much, and met great people. A once in a lifetime experience!

My 17 yr old Son had a wonderful experience. I went too. It was a very hard trip for a Senior Citizen. I wouldn't recommend it unless you can walk 8 miles in 2 hours on cobblestones in 97 degree heat! Even the Teens were exhausted, but ready to go the next day!

There was very little time to rest, or even sleep, on the tour. The majority of the dinners planned by the tour company were simply not very good. In particular, there was meant to be a steak dinner. The steak arrived extremely well done- nobody was given a chance to ask for a different temperature or even a better meal. The rest of the dinners were better, but had similar disappointment to them. When running on 4 hours of sleep/night for almost 2 weeks, it is hard to find anything enjoyable. I do not believe the extremely high price matches the quality of the trip. On a positive note, the tour director and tour guides were amazing.

We are sorry to hear the meals detracted from your experience. This does not sound like the EF Tours standard. We have passed your feedback along to the Traveler Support manager.

My daughter went on a school trip and had a blast! Everything was planned so well through EF Tours. I heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone on the trip about their tour leader, Marta. Great experience from initial booking til departure. Can’t wait to research my own trip and book. Thanks!

Our daughter was delayed 27 hours on the way back. YOU PROVIDED NOT A SINGLE COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE DELAY, ALTERNATIVE FLIGHT PLANS, ETC. YOU MADE MINOR CHILDREN SLEEP ON THE FLOOR OF TWO DIFFERENT AIRPORTS. HORRID TREATMENT!!! And, NO communication skills whatsoever. Your communication skills were akin to those of the Soviet Union after the Chernobyl accident. Also, your chaperones are like Soviet prison guards. They did not allow for bathroom breaks, they called my daughter a "slut" for wearing appropriate clothing, and did not allow for a choice of food during meals. Just shameful. I will use ever parent platform/meeting and social media account I have to highlight just how awful your company is.

We are very sorry to hear you and your daughter did not have a great experience with us, Kenneth. In the instance travelers face a cancellation or delay of flight we first ask the Group Leader to rebook directly through the airline as they have practices in place for these situations. Our team was in contact with the Group Leader throughout the process and approved by the Group Leader. In regards to the verbiage towards your daughter, we are sorry this happened. EF is not involved in assigning chaperones- each school and Group Leader is responsible for choosing the chaperones or parents traveling with the group. We recommend communicating your situation to the school so they can be aware and address the situation accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Wonderful trip! Had to make some inclement weather changes but it was still great, our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The trip to Paris, Barcelona and Madrid was amazing. The tour guide David was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We truly enjoyed him. Both city tours were great, beautiful architecture and very educational. The hotels we stayed in were 3 stars or below which was very unsatisfactory esp. for the amount of money that was paid for the trip. It was ridiculous. One of my rooms in Barcelona on the first day had ants due to food being left on the floor, it was dozens of ants in the room. In another hotel while in Spain the bed sheets were dirty, it had crumps, hair and dirt spots on it. The pillow cases were also dirty. No one would come up to bring clean linen so we had to walk downstairs to get new ones. In that same room there was a leak in the balcony door which caused the floor to become wet on both sides of the bed. All of these issues were given to both hotels. For the amount of money spent we should have at least stayed in a 4 star hotel. I paid over $9,000 for an adult and child and most of of the tours were free to get in, like parks and church's. Great experience but I will never book with eftours again.

Fantastic school trip that included great sightseeing, food and tour guides. Every detail was thought of and I had no worries about my son being in another country for 10 days. Would highly recommend EFtours.
