Overall, my experience with EF Tours had its ups and downs. While I appreciated the efforts of our main guide, Alistair, who was wonderful, helpful, and hardworking, I had both positive and negative experiences during the trip. Although the accommodations were decent, I found the food to be disappointing in terms of both options and quality. I was expecting more variety instead of having beef stew three days in a row. Additionally, I felt that the pace of the trip was often rushed, which prevented me from fully immersing myself in each experience. Furthermore, there were transportation issues that added stress to the trip. For instance, we missed buses that caused us to lose valuable time in London, and the poor communication among the members of the trip resulted in confusion. In fact, one night the bus driver even went to the wrong hotel! Moreover, the itinerary was not always followed, which made it difficult to plan effectively. Lastly, the last flight home was particularly unpleasant due to multiple layovers. In summary, while there were some positives about the trip, there were also areas for improvement that would have made it a much better experience overall. For instance, EF Tours could consider offering more food options that cater to different dietary requirements, and they could also plan the itinerary with more flexibility, so that participants can fully enjoy each experience.

Must do trip!
Amazing trip!
Overall experience: Excellent! The students enjoyed their trip immensely. It was quite clear for the chaperones to see the growth and maturity of each student as the tour progressed. The memories and bonds these students made with each other is unparalleled. The experiences with living history, the people, the culture, and the excursions opened our eyes to new perspectives and opened our hearts to lifelong adventures.
We had such an amazing experience! Highly recommend for all high school students!
I love the countryside the most, very beautiful place.
My daughter had the most amazing trip that she could ever have imagined. Everything was top-notch, from the tour director to the bus drivers to the food and all of the activities that were planned!
The tour was unbelievable! Our tour director, Trevor, was knowledgeable, personable, and just plain fun. Can't wait to go on our third tour next year!
Tour was wonderful! Tour director was funny and personable. Ireland and Wales are gorgeous landscapes dotted with amazing castles. Stratford upon Avon is always a great visit whether you enjoy Shakespeare or not. London’s Harry Potter Tour with Esther is a must do! Paris is usually the most memorable but, this time the crowds of tourists and city construction hampered and restricted our time there.
The amount of things we did and saw is unsurpassed by other traveling groups!
The travel process through EF Tours was easy to manage. They provided emails that contained important deadline information and the portal was easy to use. The coordination of transportation, lodging, and food was seamless. Based on my child's report, the tour leader was so fabulous that her group hated to say goodbye at the end of the 9 days. My child had a wonderful experience!
It was epic!
Wonderful trip
The stops were all fabuous
Beautiful.
EF Tour of Ireland and England was enjoyable and educational for my son. He saw so many wonderful sites and participated in special events and also had free time to explore on his own. Everything was organized and the communication was great. Fabulous job !!
My son loved the scenery and the food. We loved that we knew he was in experienced hands.
Our daughter enjoyed the trip of a lifetime!
An amazing trip. Well organized with a lot of iconic places to visit. Highly recommend.
My first time as a tour leader was very good. My EF Group Leader, Kelly Jamison, was EXCELLENT. My only criticism is the last dinner, which should have been so much fun, in London, was NOT bc EF chose an Indian restaurant and many of us did not like that food so we had to pay and go elsewhere, separate from the group. Indian food??? Why wasn’t it a traditional English restaurant?! That was really disappointing.
