Our tour guide was amazing, EF not so much.... Several experiences were a waste of time (Jade shop, opal shop, Duck tour) and some where exaggerated (snorkel tour with a 'marine biologist' was a 20 minute tour outside of the swimming area with the boat hand who had zero knowledge of fish species and ocean life). Food was nothing to write home about and EF charged us double for all our sub-par hotels (yes, we went online as if we were going to book a room ourselves- EF charged us at least double).

Great tours, excellent bus drivers and wonderful memories made. Steve the bus driver in NZ went above and beyond helping us with a passport left behind at a hotel. Would prefer to chat with someone related to opportunities with the actual tour guide.
Such a great trip - fit in a lot and team had a great time
I loved everything about it I wish I could go back in time and experience it all again
Great experience
The trip was fantastic and our tour guide was amazing. The only issue I had was the food choices were hamburgers or chicken burgers at least three or four times. We need more variety in our food choices. Maybe extend this trip a couple days to spend more time in New Zealand.
This had so many cool experiences while we were there. Great way to learn about the people who live there and allowed us to see so many places and things in such a short amount of time.
Wonder, action/fun packed
We hit many of the highlights in Australia and New Zealand, from the Sydney Opera House to the Great Barrier Reef and many other places along the way. Our students had the time of their lives.
Awesome. Easy from start to finish.
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on!
everything is well planned , kids had a blast
Fabulous itinerary! Such a beautiful place with amazing cultures! Make sure to slip Hobbiton in if you can.
Absolutely incredible guide. Wonderful people. We could really use different hotels. We did not feel safe and it were in poor condition.
well my daughter loved it ,was a great experience for her and something new
EF provided a fun, memorable, well-organized trip of a lifetime!
It’s the best gift you can give to your child. Don’t worry about the cost as EF tours has an amazing fundraiser designed just for your child. I posted fundraiser and shared and within as week my child met her goal and was able to experience the New Zealand/ Australia adventure trip!! Best decision ever made for my daughters Senior Trip. EF Tours thought of everything, there is no stress and the app takes you step by step. So simple and life changing!! I encourage every parent to do this, I’m so blessed I did
It was a once in a lifetime trip!
Great time.

I was gonna say something like this: The tour itself was wonderful and easy to do. Unfortunately there were parts that weren’t very accessible to me coming from someone with special needs. The tour guide could be brash at times. It was lovely and something I’ll never forget but sadly these things led to a lot of highly unenjoyable moments that tainted my time. If I didn’t have someone I was close friends with on the trip I don’t know what I would’ve done. Im not sure how the hiring of your guides work or maybe if there was personal reasons on the behavior but I don’t wish any ill will towards the person. As for the inaccessibility; long walks, steep hills, not having a lot of wiggle room, space, time to stop and rest. I did put in the original notes that I do need some things (an inhaler, for example). I felt very isolated from the group because of these. I didn’t want to drag everyone behind. I realize that this is a personal issue that I had. I don’t think most other people would find any issue with. Allistic able-bodied people shouldn’t have near as many problems with their time. The sights were beautiful in New Zealand and in Australia. The tour felt clunky and some of the things we did felt like wasted money. In Sydney, there was a point where we paid to go up into an observatory to see the same view we saw from when we were just standing on the bridge. This was just one of a few times where I wished we did some other activity or had choice on where our money went to. I personally wanted to go to the aquarium that was quite literally right across the street from one of our hotels. BE CAREFUL in Australia. During one of the night markets when we had free time before heading back to the hotel; I decided to head out and get something to drink. My friends offered to come along, which im grateful that they did because of what happened on the way back to the hotel. As I was going to throw something away, some guy bumped my shoulder into the trash can, whispered into my ear, “move little-” followed by a slur. I didn’t think I’d feel unsafe and I don’t know if that type of hate is normalized there but I hadn’t heard it any of the whole other days I was there.
