The tour was great with the exception of the few hotel rooms. I spent an extra $660 for a room that I wasn't even able to shower in because of the cleanliness.

Luca was an amazing tour director. He was friendly, fun, patient and informative. The places we visited were once in a lifetime opportunities. Thank you Luca for making this trip so enjoyable and memorable. I would have liked to have more time visiting some touristy shops for souvenirs. Overall, the trip felt rushed, but we were warned in advance that it is one of EF’s more fast paced trips. Thanks again Luca for making it fun and memorable!

Wish you included a stop at Wimbledon while in London or enough time that kids could take the train up there. Good trip, pretty knowledgeable guides (although a little stretch on telling people Winston Churchill was American), good accommodations, food was not the greatest (only pork for every meal), internet in Italy was terrible, did not get to go inside Pantheon because of a mass (should have been double checked ahead of time by your schedule staff).

Loved each and every country. The food was phenomenal and the best part was seeing the lights on the Eiffel Tower at night on our EF Tour Seine River cruise.

Our tour guide, Marcello was absolutely fantastic and our consultant Lindsey amazing. Marcello was organized, friendly, and made sure our group was well taken care of throughout the trip. Lindsey helped make sure last minute additions to excursions happened. I can say our tour was absolutely perfect including the weather.

Great experience. Would go at a different time of the year because of the heat. Some things would have been more enjoyable, like the hotel stays with no AC and the walking guided tours. Some things felt repetitive. Best part is it is all planned, you don’t have to worry about much of anything as far as where to go, where to find tickets, checking in to hotels, transportation, etc.

Our middle school group recently traveled with EF tours. Overall, the trip was great. We were introduced to many cities across Europe. There were many things that went well, any improvement in communication would have made this trip amazing. There wasn't a local tour guide for London, so we opted as a group to walk from a drop off, through London. Of course, everyone loved the Tower of London. Paris was fun for the kids! Our local bus tour guide, Cid, was great! The timing of the cruise on the Seine allowed the kids to see the Eiffel tower sparkle. Versailles, Milan, Florence, Vatican, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Capri were all great. The local tour guides were all great to excellent! However, being on this trip and comparing it to other EF tours I have taken students on, I feel there are some considerable opportunities. There was poor communication that led to frequently frustrating situations. We arrived in London and the tour director (TD) said we have no one to lead a city tour and no driver for tomorrow. He said, "I don't know what to do" and shrugged his shoulders. Our chaperones and parents made a plan to walk the areas so the kids could see them at least (once we had a bus). While unsure if this is on EF or the TD, I don't think an experienced tour director should have that reaction, for which a group of parents/teachers that have never been there can come up with a plan. In Rome, we were supposed to go into the Colosseum, and didn't get tickets in time. Which was a major letdown. EF was able to replace it with a brief tour of the catacombs-which was ok, but it wasn't the Colosseum. Frequently, the only communication provided for the day was "breakfast 6:30, on bus at 7". tomorrow "x" activity. There were issues with TD getting tickets and our group admitted to the Louvre. Once inside, we were unaware of needing a ticket to get into each section. The TD sent pictures of the tickets, but we couldn't get WiFi/signal to access them, which caused another delay and chaperones trying to help each person get in. TD ghosted us. Again, on communication, while in Rome, we got off a bus, passed an obelisk, and went into a restaurant for dinner. After dinner we were provided 30 min free time to shop and to meet at the obelisk. A location was sent as people were leaving, to a different obelisk. There was confusion about the location and when we realized that several of the group were at the first obelisk, instead of a second, the TD said "they have to Uber back, I sent the location, time. We can't wait". I called EF emergency, to see if the bus could wait for them. When EF wanted to talk to the TD. He refused to talk to them, waved the phone away and said, "It doesnt change anything" and got on the bus. At the hotel, the TD went to bed, as he did every night. The students were with their parents, and arrived shortly after the bus, but I felt this very uncalled for and unsafe, and that he didn't care to follow that they made it to the hotel. We were given whisper devices to keep for three days. They weren’t counted when passed out. Three days later, we collected them as a group. TD wasn't sure if 1 or 2 was missing, but kept counting and shrugging for about 45 minutes. Frustrated with this, I paid $100 to the TD. He didn't say a word, packed them up and went to bed. The next day we found one on the bus at the airport, TD kept it, said it wasn't ours and I didnt get my money back. Sadly, the TD lacked enthusiasm, didn't care to share or didn't know about the cities we visited, and didn’t connect to the group. He compared everything negatively to Rome. Frequently he didn't have data/signal to attain info to guide our group. Often he kept moving without making sure the group kept up. I feel it would have been more professional to highlight the good in each city while you are there. This trip was good because we made it good, but the TD was bad enough people asked for tip money back, and it made a bad impression on EF for several families.
