◦ The biggest concern was EF shouldn’t ever have paired a mid school with a high school. Several of our kids have already turned 18 and/or graduated. There is a HUGE difference between a 12 year old and an 18 year old. This particular error in judgment, was the cause of many issues during the trip. ◦ Tour guide was late picking up our group from the airport causing us to lose valuable time on our first day. I normally wouldn’t have mentioned this but as the days progressed, our group was penalized and punished every time we were late. This was not the case with the other school traveling with us and they were late several times in a row. ◦ Tour guide often body shamed the high school girls and made passive aggressive comments about what they were wearing. None of which was ever inappropriate. This resulted in several of the girls refusing to tip our guide. ◦ Too much time was spent traveling on a bus. Sometimes up to three hours to only have 1 hour to spend at a location. Locations were too spread out and experiences were limited by time constraints. Free time often translated to “shopping time.” ◦ A cultural immersion experience would be more beneficial than a walking tour or bus tour. Teenagers (and most adults) don’t want to spend a hour or more walking or driving and listening to a lecture, they can do that in school. ◦ Very disappointed the guide made the decision to cancel the Abbey at Mont St. Michele after traveling hours to visit and to then travel hours to “shop” at next location. ◦ Guide seemed knowledgeable enough but her people skills and demeanor was unapproachable and condescending. Example: when asked where the bus was parked, response was, “outside.” Direct questions were never answered to avoid accountability.

I appreciated that there was an itinerary with full details about where my daughter would be, what foods she'd be eating, what hotel she'd be staying in. Direct numbers for the tour guides and teachers. Everything! She had an amazing time, met new friends, and is hoping to return in the future.

My daughter had a wonderful time with her group. Their days were packed with activities and their experience was fun. The choices of venues were plenty, but my daughter mentioned that sometimes there was not enough time allotted to visit for example the Louvre with only an hour of time. At Mont St Michel, they weren’t able to visit because something went wrong with the booking and apparently the place was overbooked and they also weren’t able to visit the cheese factory but weren’t given a reason why. At Mont St Michel there was nothing that could be done since they didn’t find out until they got there, but they knew about not being able to visit the cheese factory; however EF did not substitute a different place and gave the kids more free time. My daughter would have liked to see Monet’s garden and so did the other girls in her group, but nothing else was substituted. I understand that with such a large group last minute changes are difficult to manage, but since some of these venues are paid for something else should have been lined up. Another issue that was mentioned is the tipping of the tour guide and bus driver. This should not be expected. Kids shouldn’t be required to tip or it should just be a voluntary gesture and not an expectation.

Our tour guide was fantastic. She ensured that everything ran smoothly. The food we had was well liked by everyone. We loved the small towns we went to. Would love to do it again!

Beautiful Loved the museums Rouen was a wasted of time We could not go into the church even though we wanted to and we did not learn anything about Joan of Arc when we were there It was a rushed stop and we could have had a lovely lunch there but instead we got back on the bus and had to get food at a highway gas station/ rest stop IT was NOT good. The stop in Granville was fun it would have been nice to have seen the childhood home of Christian Dior when we were there but we had a nice hike on the beach and everyone had fun hiking, eating and shopping. Often our guide had us doing things when we should have eaten first because by the time we were done restaurants were closed so that was frustrating - this happened several times.

Great balance of cultural sites, historical, and modern. It gave a nice perspective, and wonderful firsthand experience in a safe group environment.

My son had a great trip. This was his 2nd. He loved the time they spent in Normandy and Brittany, especially Mont St. Michel, more than Paris, but he was in awe of the Louvre. This trip was jam-packed with educational and sight-seeing opportunities. The value of these trips is off the charts; We couldn't have afforded or planned the intricacies and logistics of such a trip ourselves. It was a little daunting sending him off internationally with a group from school the first year, but the 2nd year was a little less scary, because we knew he was in good hands and that EF Tours has everything under control. Our daughter is now eligible for trips with the same group and we will not hesitate!

We absolutely loved our trip to France. Our tour guide was so informative and helpful. We got to see so many places and sights. My only complaint is that we didn't get enough time. We only had 2 hours at the Louvre. I understand that with all the places and sights we saw we couldn't spend a lot of time at all of them. Other than that it really was an amazing experience.

It will be a fast paced trip. Be ready to be on your own and willing to get out of your shell and meet new people to have a wonderful adventure. You’ll have enough time to sleep when you get back home. Expect different foods with different flavors that are not customary to what you’re used to at home. However, it will be incredible sites and adventures.

Activities were well planned, educational, and fun throughout the entire trip.

Not organized enough. Rushed in places then nothing to do in other places.

I would definitely use EF tours again

TRip was nice. Maybe too much time spent on train or buses, and really missed a French culinary experience. Lack of time during lunch time and fast food dinners at night
