We were able to see and learn about the history of famous places we had heard about. These places were absolutely beautiful. This tour was not as rushed as some I had been on in the past. We had some free time to explore on our own and a few beach days , which was very important to our kids.
It was wonderful. Tour director 5 stars. Locations (some not enough time) 5 stars. The hotels/food brought my rating to a 4 star. But would do another EF tour for sure.

This was a wonderful tour, with the extension. EF did a good job and supporting our group, before, after and during our trip. This is the 8th time I have traveled with EF.
It was amazing to hear the history, learn about the cultures, and experience the culture, music and people of Portugal and Spain. Life changing and memorable.
My daughter loved it!

Best planned trip by our Tour Director Pablo Muniz! He left no stone unturned while visiting these countries! His excitement for the students to be exposedOur Tour Director Pablo Muniz planned the best trip, leaving no stone unturned while visiting different countries. His contagious excitement for exposing students to diverse cultures made the trip memorable. to the different cultures was contagious.

Fantastic once in a lifetime experience, the connections I was able to make on the trip along with learning how to operate in a foreign country made the trip an experience I would recommend to everyone.
This experience was phenomenal for both my boys. They made core memories that will stay with them forever.
The tour was very well planned and organized. The children all had a great time, and felt this contributed to knowledge as well as character development. The chaperones/teachers in charge were extremely proactive, detail-oriented, and provided continuous updates.
My daughter went on the 14 day trip (Portugal, Spain, France) with her school. The trip was very well organized. The excursions were carefully selected and my daughter had fun at each of them. There were a few hiccups that could have been handled better though. For example, the bus had a flat tire during one of the evenings for 6 hours. Once the tire was fixed, it was another 3 hour drive to the hotel, arriving around 2am. There should have been backup protocols for issues like this. The trip was very fast paced, going from one city to another and moving from hotel to hotel, staying 1-2 nights in each. It would have been better if they had more time to enjoy each location. The breakfast and dinner were included in the overall trip price but lunch was not. My daughter enjoyed lunch the most because they had freedom to purchase what they wanted. The dinners were pre-ordered since they are included in the trip package so you do not get to choose your food. My daughter didn’t like any of the dinners. That is too bad because the food in these locations should have been enjoyable and part of the experience. The hotels should have been better vetted. Some hotels had bugs in the rooms, some had dirty towels, some had stains on sheets. My daughter found a dirty towel under her bedsheet.
