Terrible for matches, no matter how I change search critia it kept giving me matches 150+ miles away. You can't put a person on "hold" without liking their profile, so if their's is incomplete (ie no... See more

This is without a doubt the worst…
This is without a doubt the worst dating site ever. Your feed will be full of people with no photos whatsoever and when you complain to eharmony they will say some people want “to keep a low profile” . I would question why someone would want to do that on a dating app - it seems to me it is simply a way for people to keep their identity under wraps. It feels like eharmony want to get your money with no genuine concern about it’s customers safety / experience. Also their customer service will provide disingenuous responses that do not provide a genuine response to your concerns. Avoid at all costs.
If I could give 0 stars I would!
I would never use Eharmony ever again
I would never use Eharmony ever again. Full of fake profiles and also when you miss a payment they restrict your account but then when you pay you don’t get that missed period credited back to you. Very expensive and not worth the money
I found myself in eharmony membership…
I found myself in eharmony membership rather than applying. Complete con artists. Now lm being hounded for membership fees.
Also l was approached by someone who was very happy finding out about my autistic child. That is very concerning and shows the complete lack of vetting by eharmony. Discraceful. Approach eharmony with extreme caution
Terrible dating service - avoid
Terrible dating service, insist on yearly payment unlike a monthly or 3 monthly option like a good site would. No ability to change radius in reasonable incriments, if you want to change the radius from 30 miles the next option is 60 miles with nothing in between. Seemingly very few active users as there are very few matches. Inability to cancel your subscription, once you have paid you are locked in regardless of how useless the service is. Comes across as a scam more than a service
I'd give it no stars if I could
I'd give it no stars if I could. I'm fit, slender/attractive, sociable with plenty of friends and I love travelling. I'm also loving, caring and calm. I've had zero likes on this platform, yet it is by far the most expensive of any dating app. Dreadful. Wish I hadn't bothered.
Eharmony isn't a good app
Eharmony isn't a good app. They charge subscription for 24 months and its full of fake profiles.
Very poor
Very poor. Identification of profiles is not done, although they claim their site is safe.
I was caught by a scammer . I asked for some verifications and they replied a standard automated reply instead of looking into it.
I feel they simply do not care
AVOID. My experience after trying to cancel within 2–3 days of joining has been appalling.
I wish I had researched eHarmony’s cancellation practices before giving them my payment details.
I joined eHarmony in good faith. Within two or three days, I had decided the service simply wasn’t for me. It seemed remarkably quiet, the interface felt poor and very old-fashioned, and I couldn’t edit my profile in the way I wanted.
So I tried to cancel.
I was well within 14 days of entering into the subscription and attempted to exercise what I understood to be my statutory cooling-off right for a contract entered into online.
Instead of this being the end of a service I had tried for only a matter of days, it became the beginning of a major, time consuming dispute with eHarmony, which still remains unresolved.
eHarmony’s position is that I do not have the right to simply cancel without remaining liable for the subscription payments. I have challenged that position and made it abundantly clear that I dispute the alleged debt.
What I find particularly concerning is that they simply do not meaningfully engage with the facts. Their correspondence instead continues to focus on their assertion that further money is due and the possibility of outstanding amounts being pursued.
Just consider what that means from a customer’s perspective.
I tried a dating service. Within 2–3 days I decided it was unsuitable. I attempted to cancel during the 14-day period in which I understood I had a statutory right to withdraw from an online contract. I now find myself being told that I remain liable for further payments and faced with the prospect of those sums being pursued.
All over a dating service I decided I didn’t want within a few days of joining.
After this happened, I started researching other people’s experiences with eHarmony. I was genuinely shocked by what I found.
There are numerous public reviews and anecdotal accounts from customers describing strikingly similar experiences involving attempts to cancel, demands for continuing subscription payments and references to debt collection.
I can say that descriptions of the experience felt extremely familiar after dealing with eHarmony myself.
I wish I had read them before subscribing.
I have now formally disputed eHarmony’s position. I have withdrawn authority for further payments, blocked further charges and retained the correspondence.
I will not simply pay an alleged debt, of over £200 because eHarmony repeatedly tells me that I owe it.
If you’re considering joining eHarmony, I strongly recommend that you do something I failed to do: research its cancellation practices before paying.
Read the negative reviews. Read what other customers say happened when they attempted to cancel. Read the subscription terms extremely carefully. And pay particular attention to what eHarmony says about the 14-day cancellation period.
Then decide whether you’re comfortable giving them your payment details.
I deeply regret doing so.
One star. Avoid.
I have just joined why are you…
I have just joined why are you demanding I rate the experience? I have no idea but find I must rate you really annoying
Avoid it!
Avoid it!
You cannot see if people in your area until you sign up and pay. So I did. No one in area (Scotland) and first person asked if I wanted to suck my toes and other inappropriate things within first message. I contacted eharmony to say not the site for me and they charged me a further £55 cancellation fee freezing my ability to see others and message. £65 for rude message and couldn't message or see others.
Do not waste your money!!!
Unfortunately there's no 0 star rating…
Unfortunately there's no 0 star rating available. I have gotten into a subscription trap £11 a month for a year for seeing fake profiles and getting AI generated messages. There is no way of termination via their website. I am taking all possible legal routes to cancel the subscription. Very disappointed
Great love it
DON'T BOTHER
Matches are always miles away and way too old despite filters being put on. Plus, if you pay for it you cannot get out of it for anything. Even if you delete your account and never use it again you're stuck paying for it until your contract ends. Steer clear. It's an absolute con and a waste of time.
A scam with false advertisements
A scam with false advertisements! It encourages you to sign up for free for 30 days. When you email to cancel within the 30 days grave period, they email to say because the 1st payment has been taken, you are locked in for 2 years?! Absolute craziness. The options are limited and just a terrible experience throughout. Do NOT bother signing up for this, unless you want to be conned into a 2 year financial commitment that you never signed up for.
This company scams you
This company scams you
Do not join this company. They have no or few matches within 100miles and when you try to cancel they take money, which is unauthorised, from your account. Took £130.00 for free personality account then offered to discount to 50%. Had to block them via my bank.
Under UK law we have 14 days to cancel. Sharp practices, don’t have the matches and generally really poor site navigation. Match.com much better.. try that instead.
Forced to ‘love’
The company have changed how they show you profiles. It’s awful. You now have to click the heart icon or permanently remove the person’s profile from your results. There is no way you can revisit someone’s profile or move on to the next profile without doing this. I used to like to be able have a think and also compare different people before deciding whether to message them. This is not allowed now. All users are adults and should be treated as such. I can decide for myself and no amount of engineering a forced response will make me like someone just to be able to have a think about their profile. I’ve paid for a year and have cancelled auto renew so maybe someone will appear in that time but I don’t bother actively using the site anymore. There is very limited numbers on the site. I’m ‘liked’ by people who live over 150 miles away when I’ve selected under 30 miles. I can’t believe there’s no one in that radius! Friends who have also used eHarmony say they’ve also had very few matches locally. Overall, a very poor experience on a badly designed dating platform. Shame on you eharmony.
No local potential matches
No local potential matches. Have to search 60 miles plus to even see any profiles. Locked in for 6 months! There should be a 'no local matches' clause that allows you to get out early. U have to love or block a profile to move onto the next. Eharmony does not have the membership to support the fee. Avoid!
Avoid - Expensive and financial penalties for cancelling
Ridiculously expensive and very limited profiles. Definitely some fake profiles and scammers.
All the sign up options are expensive with long commitments, the minimum is 6 months and so even if successful with a match in that time, they charge for the remainder of the time. So if you want to cancel after a month, they still take the 5 months remaining. If you pay upfront to get the discount, then you lose it all.
I realised I made a mistake within a day so exercised the cancellation rights under the 14 day policy. But they get you there as well - they say they provided the personality questionnaire at a value of £130 and as they are kind, reduce the value to £65, which they deduct from the upfront payment, or if paying monthly, take that from your payment card.
It’s a con - the personality questionnaire is mandatory, but their own value of £130 for it is crazy. I didn’t use it or refer to it and there are plenty of free versions on the internet.
Eharmony is to be avoided based on the cost, their inflexibility over minimum sign up periods and unreasonable charging and deductions.
And the amount of profiles is underwhelming.
Avoid it.
Absolutely useless, a total rip off
