So far this new experience is ok. But other sites you do not need to be premium to see pics and message (if a member messages first)

eHarmony needs to open up more matches for us to see. Very minimal choices when there are many subscribed members. One plus, more quality choices than other dating sites.

I think having to pay the high price to be able to read the message is high. When you are a widow you want to meet a nice gentleman but don’t want to pay all that money plus the person who sends you... See more

I enjoy that eharmony has a complex dating algorithm

I enjoy that eharmony has a complex matching algorithm; I want to find someone I am in love with that has a large amount of algorithm content; my parent got a divorce and it tore me in half--I don't want that (and wish they would still get back together).

Bunch of Scammers

Be warned about this site. This site is run by nothing but liars and scammers. When i signed up for Eharmony they promoted a great account membership of 10 dollars to be paid monthly. I was stupid enough to fall for it and paid for it and immediataly i realized they had lied. Instead they charged me for a 12 month membership with 34 dollar payments monthly and they immediataly charged me 34 dollars. Once i realized this i immediataly tried to cancel the membership and get a refund and they kept refusing to do either and they only just today decided to finally refund me and cancel the scam membership because i threatened legal action. This is the worst dating site around. You can't even view other profiles without a membership and they lie to you about the membership you're paying for to trick you and scam you out of hundreds of dollars. DO NOT JOIN

“Denied Refund for Unusable Account — Resolved After Escalation”

I signed up for eHarmony on February 14, 2026 and was charged $504.85 for a 12-month Premium Plus subscription. I believed I was selecting a short-term plan, but the checkout resulted in a full 12-month charge.

I contacted customer service immediately to request cancellation and a refund. Compounding the issue, I was unable to access my account due to a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) login failure. eHarmony provided a workaround code, but it did not work, leaving the paid service completely unusable.

Despite explaining that I could not log in or use the service at all, my refund request was denied multiple times, with the company citing its cancellation policy. The matter was only resolved after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, at which point eHarmony processed a refund and returned the account to Basic status.

While I appreciate that the refund was ultimately issued, the experience was frustrating. I would advise potential customers to review subscription terms very carefully before completing checkout and to be aware that refund requests may require escalation.

I wish I had looked at the reviews here…

I wish I had looked at the reviews here first! I had done general search engine searches. I was able to download the app, register and pay. I paid £95 for a year's subscription. I had a service for a few days. Then the app and the website went down and stayed down, no matter what device I used. I tried several. I had various emails suggesting it was the device at fault. I asked for my money back and had no response. I wrote hard copy letter to their UK address. I have received £30 refund even though I was within 14 days cooling off. Their last email they said was their final decision.

STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY. Extortion organization. They 'do not have a monthly plan' and will charge you upfront for a year. If you do not pay, they will send it to collections. The amount will increase arbitrarily with each email, each attempt. It is literally an extortion business now. Do not support them, do not sign up for their service.

Check the Better Business Bureau for more details; there was even a class action lawsuit against them in 2023, which can be found easily on google.

If I could do ZERO stars I would

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

The most frustrating part of my experience with eHarmony is the complete lack of real customer service. There is no live person to speak with — no phone number, no meaningful support. You are forced to communicate through email, and the responses feel automated, generic, and dismissive. It honestly feels like you’re talking to AI rather than a human being who cares about resolving your issue.

I joined the site because it specifically stated there was a strong population of men within 25 miles of my home. That was the entire reason I signed up. However, once I created my profile, that simply was not the case. The matches were extremely limited and did not reflect what was advertised.

When I reached out to customer service to explain the discrepancy, instead of addressing the concern, they told me to “adjust my preferences.” In other words, they suggested I expand my distance range beyond 25 miles. That defeats the whole purpose. I am not able to go further than 25 miles, and I was very clear about that.

This feels like false advertising. The platform does not have the local population it claims to have, and when you question it, you’re met with scripted responses rather than real accountability.

I would not recommend trusting their marketing claims. Do your research before committing.

DO NOT SIGN UP

Joined 04/02 for free but this doesn’t allow you to see any pictures. Subscribed to a package on 10/02 and only came across fake profiles or people who live miles away. It says on their website there’s a 14 day cooling off period. Cancelled on 16/02 and was charged £44 to cancel. So basically paid £65 for less than a week of utter rubbish. DO NOT SIGN UP!!

Horrible

Horrible - do not use. I signed up and paid 1st month. Never could use the service as they couldn't get me logged in. Went through 20-30 emails with them and they never supplied the help. They came after me for the remaining subscription balance (3 months). I never used their service. Now a collection company is calling.

DO NOT USE!
