So far this new experience is ok. But other sites you do not need to be premium to see pics and message (if a member messages first)

eHarmony needs to open up more matches for us to see. Very minimal choices when there are many subscribed members. One plus, more quality choices than other dating sites.

I think having to pay the high price to be able to read the message is high. When you are a widow you want to meet a nice gentleman but don’t want to pay all that money plus the person who sends you... See more

Trash

This site is the same as free sites. Please don't waste your time nor money. Eharmony traps you into costly payment plans, collects their money upfront then you're left with a poor user experience. I should have known better when they only offered long-term packages, 6months, 1 year and 2 year. I understand it may take time to find a quality match but it's exhausting swiping left and right and reading profiles from men who live 100s of miles away because there aren't enough members in your area, men seeking green card marriages or men not seeking long-term relationships! These are not quality matches. Half the guys don't pay for the site, so they can't communicate with you. It seems they can only send ice breakers which are would you rather photos. Terrible!

Worst Customer Service + Full of Fake Spam Profiles

This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. It takes 2 weeks for a reply and in most cases the reply is "based on the info you have supplied we can not help you" and this has happened at least both time as I have only contacted them twice :) so 100% success rate.

To add to that the app is extremely inefficient, full of FAKE spam profiles, and 50% of the users have no photos. If you are looking for a dating app, I advise that you stay away from it.

Absolutely TERRIBLE Experience.

After much research on which dating site to choose, I ended up going with eHarmony. I already thought the website was overpriced, but they offered me a discount after chatting with a customer service rep. I decided to sign up with the highest possible membership option because I wanted the option of messaging more than 30 members per month. You cannot see the amount of members before you pay for membership because free search queries are limited entirely, which is the first part of the scam. After joining the site, I quickly found that there was only around 35 members in my area within my search queries (and I opened my search options as wide as I could). I was incredibly disappointed. None of the handful of members were appealing to me and I already knew that my 6-month membership would be an entire waste of money. I contacted customer service again, which by the way, is difficult to even get to on the website after clicking through 3 or 4 pages - there is no phone customer service, probably on purpose on their part to make things harder for us as customers. There is only text chat. I chatted with a rep about and she simply ignored my refund request and kept making suggestions on how to widen my search further, all of which were inapplicable to me. After maybe 30 minutes of this, she ended up telling me that a refund request was not able to happen because it is disallowed in my specific state - some states have a 3-day refund policy with eHarmony and some do not. I asked if she can make a simple exception to overturn the charge and cancel the membership since I had been on the site for only a few hours before I knew I would not be using it. She said no, and told me that I would need to email an escalation team member. I did. The escalation member replied and also denied my refund in the same exact way. Now I am out $179.76 and I will have to deal with either the same ~35 members for 6 months, or simply accept the fact that my money went out the window. eHarmony is a scam and does not care about its customers as they claim to. I do not recommend ANYONE to use this website. There are much better ones out there that are not money-hungry and actually are business-minded and customer service-minded. Do not use this website unless you want to risk having a similar terrible experience that I had.

Worst app

Worst app, they literally want your money for business without any service. I would advise don't get stuck in contract of buying subscription, they ll be charge you even if you dont like or have subscription.

Do not join eharmony!

The majority of members are catfishing, not looking for love. I have been scammed, by at least six matches, sent by eHarmony. I thought the person I was communicating with was legitimate until they displayed suspicious behavior. I reported all of them. Eharmony removed all of the suspicious matches they sent, validating my suspicions. This means that during my membership, I have had no legitimate matches. I consider that my safety and security have been breached! Eharmony is putting all its members at grave risk of being financially scammed or worse. Their advertisements are false claims, and the site is fraudulent.
To this point, I have requested a refund three times and have been denied each time. I gave a fair amount of time and the benefit of my doubt in the beginning. Now, I feel like bait in a large catfishing pond. In addition, they put the onus on members to do the research on their matches. This is unacceptable. I would have thought that a “reputable and prosperous company”, with over 10 million users worldwide, would have a sophisticated safety screening process to protect its members.

To be sure, concerns are addressed by robotic A-I computers with a one-size-fits-all approach.

My photos and other professional information have been exposed to members for months. All the while, I thought there was a vetting process that eHarmony uses to keep members’ information safe from scammers, but it is evident there is none.

To note, I paid $346 to be an advertisement to scammers. I am totally disappointed with the misinformation used to lure people into a dangerously vulnerable situation. I am looking forward to a refund and an apology for the stress this has caused.
I don’t think it will happen.

***Update: Two
More scammers in two weeks. Warning, don’t be encouraged because you are getting likes and having text conversations for a week or more.
Litmus test: ask them to set up a video call. They run like the wind. It happened every time.
Another red flag, they ask you to communicate off the site…don’t do it until they agree to a video call. Scammers DON’T WANT TO SHOW THEIR TRUE FACE-IDENTIY-because it’s not the person in the profile picture. Try it!

Appropriate, Not Pushy

I'm glad to be able to look at different profiles without being immediately contacted by someone or looking at a picture that is inappropriate like in my age dating.

Awful..

Awful... Signed up for about half an hour, cancelled my subscription. They have 14 day cooling off period apparently and I got charged 65+ euro. Absolute scam, with hidden clause you don't see in t&C's. They make it difficult on purpose stay away from this site.
