good communication and service and a good price

I first contacted Elektrowelt24 via mail because I wanted to make sure they had the speakers I was interested in, the Dali Epicon 8 in Ruby Macassar, still in stock and how much shipping to The Netherlands would be. After a very quick positive response to my questions, I replied that I did wanted the speakers. After that I got an order confirmation and paying details. After the speakers were payed for they were shipped the next morning and I received them save and sound 2 days later. After opening the box there was a logo missing on one of the speakers. Something went wrong at the factory because it wasn't in the box. Although the box was still sealed upon arrival. After contact with Elektrowelt24 a logo was sent via Dali itself so I could fix this problem my self with the sent logo. Great experience in all and straight forward communication and on top of that a good price for some excellent speakers.

Experience with Elektrowelt

I do not normally write reviews, but for this webshop I will make an exception. I have tried ordering a pair of speakers from them twice, first through Amazon and the second time through their website directly.

The first time I got the message that there was only 1 speaker left in stock and they could not fulfil my order (even though the Amazon website said otherwise). I got offered a replacement pair that were more expensive and I could either pay extra or cancel the order.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, after some more research I found another set of speakers which I ordered through the website directly. Even though the product page said 'Free Shipping', it turned out that I had to pay a shipping fee. I accepted this, due to the fact that the speakers had to be shipped to a different European country.

After paying and receiving a confirmation I received an email that the shipping costs were 'corrected' and if I could pay 48 euro's extra for shipping. I did not agree to this, given the previous order confirmation and the fact that this confirmation is basically a legal contract with obligations from both sides.

After I did ask the seller to ship the speakers to me for the agreed price, it turned out that the seller has sold the pair. But as before, he 'kindly' offered me a different pair of speakers, for which I also needed to pay extra.

The only good thing that I can say is that the hold on my PayPal account was removed quickly.

I was very well received

I was very well received. I was able to compare the speakers at my ease without feeling pressure from the seller. I was delighted by the kindness of the people who took care of me. Very good service, good price. I will return to them for a future purchase.

Certainly recommended

A month ago, I bought from this company, a pair of speakers. Some of the questions I had ,were answered promptly, clearly and especially with great willingness. Fast preparation, dispatch and delivery of the order. Prices are not only competitive, but the cheapest on the market. They are reference values, in terms of the lower limit. I certainly recommend Elektrowelt24 , without hesitation.

Ordered a subwoofer and it arrived in perfect condition with a really quick delivery. I found communicating with the guys at Elektrowelt24 easy even considering the language barrier and they were very helpful in getting the order through smoothly. Would definitely shop with them again. Cheers :)

Brutal customer service

My experience was just brutal!

In short: If you value your time - avoid. Customer service is not existent. Seller has sent me used items instead of new as advertised. Communication is slow and rude. Refund process is lengthy and anything but pleasant. Seller is a legit shop and not a scam.

Details:
I’ve ordered a set of speakers in April 2020. Shipping cost on a website was not calculated correctly. As a good customer I agreed to pay the difference. Seller admitted his mistake and offered a small shipping discount, I declined as it wasn’t that important for me.

I received my two packages quite fast. No visible damage to the boxes. Two boxes were previously opened at arrival. Boxes were re-sealed, were missing some internal factory packaging (reinforcements) and factory steel braces were not there. All the paper work was re-sealed with seal-tape and from that point it was clearly evident that this items were now new.

When I carefully unpacked the speakers I realised that one driver was damaged. The damage didn’t look like it was caused during transport as driver was fully functional and box wasn’t damaged.

I wasn’t at all happy as I paid for new speakers and received used and damaged one.

I contacted the seller. The response I have received was appalling. I was in the wrong and I was offered to be sent a new driver and solder that in myself (ask a neighbour etc).

I refused and asked for a refund. After long conversation seller offered to send new pair for additional shipment cost covered by me (!).

From this point on the return was lost somewhere on the way back to the seller. It took months for seller to figure this out with his freight company.

This took me endless emails, claims, chargebacks, contacting EU consumer protection and almost going to court to get my money back.

I had all my money back in February 2021! 10 months since the purchase!

This was anything but a good customer service. Sending used/damaged goods, blaming customer, offering to solder in the driver (I’ve no clue how to do it), rude during conversation. Not refunding money because his shipment company crewed up…

I would avoid, there’s plenty of competition…

Worst online store in my experience

An online store with a very nervous and silly owner. Taking advantage of his impunity (the client is far away), he allows himself to be rude and immediately offended when unforeseen situations arise. It's strange how, with this attitude, the store still exists.

I tried to cancel my order because I was not satisfied with the long delivery times that I had not been warned about in advance. The goods were not actually shipped and everything was according to the rules. The seller did not like this initiative, he began to dissuade me in every possible way, then complain about the lining, and so on. Then he began to swear altogether, because I did not agree to wait a week and a half, as he suggested. Sorry, but it might be worth doing something else if you are not prepared for all the risks that a business carries with it? It is foolish to try to keep a customer's order by losing your reputation. The glorious rumor of you continues to grow and spread.

Fair

Bought a 5.1 Setup, Klipsh and Jamo.

Paid for a specific Jamo model, they sent another one, cheaper one, and partially damaged, without even asking if was ok to do so.

Very disapointed for that... they never apologized for that, and never took back what they sent without asking me.

Not sure i want to buy again from them.

Dishonest seller

I bought a pair of headphones on their online shop. Unfortunately, the headphone didn't fit my head well and caused discomfort after wearing them for a few minutes. Besides, the cable had a bad contact issue making the audio somewhat jumpy. I contacted the seller two days after trying the headphone, explaining the problem with the fit and my will to return the item. Here's the reply I got: "you are out of returning time, we do not take back, sorry!". I sent them a proof of delivery date showing that I easily fell into their 14 days return policy.
They then argued that I couldn't return the headphone due to "hygiene" reasons, and that their terms clearly mention that headphones cannot be returned. There was no mention in the terms and conditions of headphones that couldn't be returned at the time of writing this review. There’s only mention of sealed goods that cannot be returned, which wasn’t the case of the item I purchased. Apparently, lying is a strong thing at elektrowelt24. Finally, they ended up saying that "they live from selling" and they would "lose too much" taking back these type of items.
I’m now with a headphone that I can’t even use. I will just recommend anyone to stay away from this totally dishonest seller.
