I recently opened elfin account. I must admit their services are absolutely amazing and professional. Whole process was completed online within minutes. Don't bother applying
Saw the advert so applied after reading trust pilot reviews 1 in particular say his credit was poor but got offered a card with a £2000 limit. My credit score is not brilliant but its not too bad either as I've been working hard over the last 2 years to build it and is now much better than it used to be but I still got refused as I don't meet their lending criteria

It’s not a credit card because you are not cover with the section 75, that means if something goes wrong you are responsible, it is merely a debit card with the difference that you have to pay the interest on top of it....I opened and closed the account after 1 day, it is not worth, and customer service is not good too...if you are searching for a credit card to be used abroad and in the meantime being covered and without fees...look around there are some...what is the deal with this card?

It is important to be aware that the Elfin Card is provided as an additional way for borrowers to make withdrawals from their Elfin Credit account. We make it clear on our website and during the sign-up process that the Elfin Card is a Prepaid Mastercard and is not a credit card, meaning section 75 protections only apply in limited circumstances.
The only fee we charge is your interest fee, which makes the Elfin Card cheap to use abroad and at home. You can of course, withdraw the money directly to your bank account instead if you wish, for no extra fee. We have responded to your email, but we are happy to answer any further questions you might have.

Best card for travel
I have been using Elfin Market for a few months now. I love the Elfin Card, especially when it comes to travelling. Unlimited cash withdrawals and no foreign exchange fees. That's just awesome. Even more flexible than Revolut who limits ATM withdrawals. As a frequent traveller, I am very happy with the service provided, and interest has always been very reasonable. I have recommended to many people around me and would definitely recommend to anyone who travels a lot! Thanks Elfin.

This popped up on my FB feed today. I applied not really expecting to be approved my credit isnt the best tbh and was given 2k, yes the interest is slightly higher however i expect this as a low credit scoring person. It meant i could clear some High interest loans off and consolidate into 1 manageable payment also now leaving me with funds for the month and not struggling to make or find the money to pay. So far so good. hopefully with additional payments made by APR Score will come down over time but thank you.

Amazing platform
Amazing platform! Got a great APR, card is great but the app is actually the best part of this service. You can make instant transfers to your bank account. I actually do this on my Monzo account and then use my Monzo card as I don't like having multiple cards with me. Thank you Elfin!
