Same convenience as used to be in…

Same convenience as used to be in Sweden when I lived there some time ago. I appreciate the level of service and knowledge among the employees. And the fact that I'm English-speaking rather than Danish wasn't an issue at all!

So far so good

I really like the website and the ease of use. The only annoying thing is the item delivery, which I would prefer not to pay after I purchased an item over 10000 dkk.
The Staff is usually quite nice and friendly, and is able to give good advice. I don’t like when they’re too pushy trying to upsell; when it happens I end up buying online bymyself but that’s ok.

I frequently shop at Elgiganten

I frequently shop at Elgiganten - Vacuum, Trimmer, Drone, Mouse, Phone, Batteries, Projectors, Sonos, all sorts of stuff. It was always a pleasant experience, and I only had to return an item once in the past 5 years, and even that went without a hitch. The store is well ventilated, clean and employees are around for questions. When it comes to TVs, headphones and speakers, wish there was a higher diversity of products on display - most headphones are not able to be tested, for example.

It is the 3rd time I buy online with…

It is the 3rd time I buy online with click and collect and the purchase is being cancel for “having wrong the stock”. The employees just don’t feel like to look for the items inside and they mark it as a “not found” in the warehouse. Daily basis

I’m really sorry to read that you’ve had this issue multiple times with Click & Collect. I completely understand how frustrating it is when an order is cancelled due to stock discrepancies, especially when it happens repeatedly. This is certainly not the experience we want to provide.

While stock errors can unfortunately occur if the system inventory doesn’t match the physical stock, it should never feel like a lack of effort from our staff. Our teams are expected to thoroughly check for items before marking them as unavailable, and your feedback indicates that we may not have lived up to that standard in your case.

We take this very seriously, and I will make sure your feedback is passed on internally so we can review our processes and prevent similar situations going forward.

Very disappointing customer service.

I bought a pair of headphones from Elgiganten, but they were defective from the beginning. Instead of replacing the product, the company keeps sending it for repair every time I complain. The worst part is that each repair process takes around three months, and after all that waiting, I still don’t get a proper solution.

As a customer, I expected either a replacement or a refund for a faulty product, not endless waiting and repeated repairs. The customer service has been extremely frustrating and unhelpful. I would not recommend buying from Elgiganten if you expect reliable after-sales support.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it must feel when you’re dealing with a product that doesn’t work as expected.

To clarify your case, your headphones were first handed in on April 22 and returned to the store on May 1 with the message that no fault could be found after extended testing by the authorized technicians. In situations like this, if the issue cannot be reproduced, the product must be returned, and we rely on a new submission with further description if the problem persists — which you did on May 13.

The product has been in service since then, and in this case, we are currently working with the manufacturer (Sony) to assess an alternative solution, including a possible credit.

This process can unfortunately take some time, but it is not correct that each repair has taken three months — your first case was handled within a short timeframe.

That said, we completely understand that the overall experience has been unsatisfactory, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

We will follow up on your case and push for an update, and you should hear back as soon as possible.

We bought a freezer online.

We bought a freezer online and were supposed to collect it from the shop; however, as it turned out later, the freezer wasn’t in stock.
So they had the freezer delivered to us free of charge.
We think that’s top-notch service.
