Extremely disappointed: Multiple errors...
If you own a performance vehicle, stay far away from this garage. I brought my Ford Focus MK3 ST in for rear suspension work, only to find out the hard way that the mechanics here lack basic technical knowledge.
They dismantled my suspension and rendered the car undriveable before even checking if they had the correct parts. To my amazement, they then spent the next few days repeatedly ordering parts for a standard Ford Focus, which obviously do not fit an ST model.
It is a basic industry standard to verify parts against the specific vehicle model before taking it apart. Their inability to distinguish between standard parts and ST performance parts is staggering for a professional workshop. Because of this incompetence, a "same-day" job turned into a 5-day ordeal, forcing me to cancel my entire Easter holiday.
To make matters worse, they had the audacity to charge me a premium price of £566—over £100 more than the original quote—effectively making me pay for their own mistakes and delays. When challenged, management claimed that dismantling a car without verifying parts is "normal practice."
Communication was non-existent; I had to chase them myself to find out my car was finally ready.
This garage is happy to take your money but takes zero responsibility for their own basic mechanical and administrative errors.
Absolute lack of mechanical competence and zero accountability. If you have an ST, RS, or any car that requires more than the bare minimum of knowledge, do not trust these people.

I came on 23 February 2026 to put 4 brand new tyres Bridgestone , tracking and balancing spend 700£ and a week later one of the weights fell off , they didn’t clean the wheel properly and my steering wheel it’s shaking badly. They remove all the old weights and leave it like that , not even use a brush to remove the old remain glue , quality very poor. Repeat, after 700£ spent. I got no words. Thank you so much Elite for waste my time and my money. Please check all the reviews on Trustpilot before came here. It’s a big shame. I guess someone will respond “ sorry about your experience here”. I want money back for my wasted time. It’s really impossible to do the right thing just one time not 3 times ? It’s that impossible to find a decent place to trust this days ? AVOID THIS PLACE!!! They are laughing on the back , they don’t care about customers. They forget , this business it’s based on customers and without customers cannot make any profit.

I went there with wheel balancing issues because of shaking at 60mph. I also asked for an alignment diagnostic check and to pay for a full alignment - if necessary.
I was shown the diagnostic before sheet by Ian Talbot and said go ahead. About 15 minutes later - I see the mechanic drive by the front window, like he stole it!
Ian came over to me all suspiciously and showed me the after diagnostic report and I paid £109.98 for the wheel balancing and full alignment. I drove it home and was not sure it felt much better. As it’s a short journey.
Had to drive on motorway a few days later and I phoned them again saying I’m not happy with it it’s pulling to the right!
So I went back there - sitting around waiting and was told by Ian, that the manager Charlie would have a look. Took the car for a while and Ian(suspiciously, again)told me he’d adjusted it and he drove it and it feels fine. Charlie couldn’t come out and face me himself and explain or show me an updated diagnostic sheet!!
I rang again and explained it’s still pulling to the right and was meant to go back to be messed about again - but chose not to as I already noticed a small dent by the door handle after the first visit - which I obviously can’t prove!! Plus I was told that Ian would phone me back and he never.
I felt intimidated and personally discriminated against because of who I am.
I thought by taking it back again they will probably do something else that will cause me more problems down the line!
I am an NVQ level 3 qualified motorcycle mechanic since 2001 and been working on my own cars, since I was a teenager(1980’s).
After studying the; before/after diagnostic report. I was charged for a full alignment service and all they did was the Toe, front/rear.
Never again, would I trust them! So I’ve had to cut my losses - rather than deal with anymore stress, than I have to because of my disabilities. Yeah Elite, you know who I am, don’t you?!
It says on their website: Try us and you will never go anywhere else!

Following a blowout on the A13 I shot into Elite first thing on a Saturday morning. Lovely woman gave me a great price on a replacement tyre, the staff were helpful and topped up air pressures on all my tyres and I was back on the road in under 30 mins. Very pleased and will use again.

I had an oil leak not sure where it was, I called into Elite and asked if they would have a look, which they did on the same day I called in, (that is what I call a great service), they found the sump nut was loose, this was tightened. A day later there was still a slight leak, I called back into Elite the next day, they were fantastic they had another look for me on the same day, ( that is what I call another fantastic service) the sump nut was still tight. I purchased a new sump nut with a crush washer and called in late afternoon (19/11/25) meaning to book my vehicle in for another day, fortunately I had the new sump nut and crush washer with me, Elite said we will undertake the work now which they did, not many service centres will do that. The oil leak has now stopped. The problem was the existing sump nut had a flat washer, not a crush one. All I can say about Elite is what a fantastic service I received from them. I would recommend Elite to people.

I can’t thank this garage enough! Two other mechanics couldn’t solve the issue with my car, but here it was diagnosed and fixed quickly and professionally. The service was excellent, the team was friendly, and the price was very fair. They saved my trip abroad—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY WILL SCAM YOU
I recently went to elite for tracking and alignment as well as wheel balancing. The man sitting behind the desk came across as very unfriendly. After I had given them my keys, they came back 15 minutes later and told me that I needed all four tyres replaced for a cost of £72 each. This came as a shock to me as my car had passed its MOT less than 24 hours before I went to elite. It was a clean pass with no advisories or warnings. I have also checked the tyres myself and they are in brilliant condition as they are all less than two years old. I was then told that I needed new brakes which I was already aware of so this did not come as a shock to me. When I asked how bad the brakes were they didn’t seem to know and kept changing their answer saying that I needed 10mm then 13mm then 18mm for my car to be safe. I felt that they were making things up because of my age. My family have always used elite in the past, but since elite have come under new management their service has decreased significantly and are quite rude and try and rip their customers off. They will probably reply to this review, but I can confirm now that whatever they say is all BS to make themselves look good. Do not bring your car here no matter what.

Disappointed. Booked MOT through AA and Elite failed it on two tyres. Quote worth more than my car so took it to a national tyres garage. More than one member of staff checked and should have had one advisory on one tyre. Can't find fault on the other one. Maybe I got take advantage of because I'm female.

I had to attend another garage who kindly assisted me.
I called Elite garage immediately and was told I would receive a call the following day and to date I have not received any call or correspondence from them.
Terrible customer service
Replaced 2 new Pirelli at a cost of £532. Within hours one went totally flat. Vehicle out of action for the whole weekend and I have a disabled mother. Paid £250 to buy a spare wheel to get the vehicle and tyre back to Elite. Once there was advised it there was a crack in the Alloy and not their responsibility, basically pay another £70 or go elsewhere. I use to deal with these guys back in the day when they had morals and scruples. I was forced to leave with the tyre totally flat! Use them at your peril. Hassan

After a poor experience elsewhere I went to Elite for a second opinion. The guys here were super friendly, quick and very efficient. The wheel alignment was carried out without faults and the car drives as straight as an arrow unlike how it left the last place. They talked it all through with me and made me feel at ease.
Definitely recommend this guys and will do in my job as I also work in the motor trade.

Unable to supply what’s advertised
Booked online to have certain tyres fitted.
I arrive on time, 5 staff are all speaking to one customer (who wasn’t angry or arguing or anything) while I just stood there, without acknowledgement.
I finally get spoken to, and they don’t have what I’ve managed to order and book in to get. No apology, no desire to remedy with an alternative. 50 min round trip for me. Staff are not motivated, and un-caring, I used to visit here very regularly when I was into my cars. The waiting area was much bigger, not a small area with stained/torn seats ontop of eachother, there was 7/8 SEPARATE tills, not connected to so staff wouldn’t just stand there and talk. The cafe is now the new “reception” the staff don’t seem to have any excitement over cars or what they’re doing like they used to.
What we SEEM to have is loads of unmovivated staff, that may aswell be operating a fill in Sainsbury’s. Heels dragging and heads down everywhere.
Very, very disappointing. For the premium charged, I personally expected a better service than the local converted petrol garage offer.
Left without any tyres at all, a drop in the ocean custom wise maybe, but I shouldn’t have to go through agro to BUY something they have advertised for sale.
Won’t be returning.
