I’m an Irish student currently studying with Elizabeth Sands Beauty School and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. The courses are really well-structured and easy to understand, I have already passed two and I’ve already learned so much in a short time. The support from the team is excellent, and they always make sure you feel confident in what you’re learning. I truly appreciate the professionalism and care they put into their training. Elizabeth Sands is honestly the best! I’ve bought a bunch of beauty courses before from other schools, but these are the only ones that really worked for me. I struggle with anxiety and ADHD, so focusing on long, drawn-out courses with unnecessary information is almost impossible. Elizabeth Sands’ courses are simple, clear, and easy to follow, with short videos that make learning so much easier. The fact that I can go back anytime with lifetime access is amazing. The support is also brilliant – all my questions were answered really quickly. I’d especially recommend these courses for anyone who is neurodivergent or struggles with focus, because the structure makes learning manageable and actually enjoyable.

I ordered on the 3 for 1 bundles so start my beauty journey and so far I only have anything positive to say! I have lots of courses on eyebrows, lashes and facials. I have started the facial course, the theory is informative and easy to complete and the videos are quick but effective and give you all the information you need to do the practical. All you need to do is put it into practise!

Also, by accident I was supposed to order 3 bundles, lashes bundle, eyebrow bundles and facial bundles, but by mistake I ordered just the facial on its own and not the bundle. I informed ES of my mistake and they were very helpful and sorted this out for me.

I also needed help just to understand how to get around the portal, I called ES and they helped me out instantly, no waiting, and they made it easy for me to understand.

Elizabeth Sands are an amazing beauty school. I sat a hard wax course as a refresher and got to work with my waxing business gaining new clients from my knowledge. I've since seen their amazing 3 for 1 offer and I couldn't resist. They could see I was pondering with my bundles in my basket and checked in on me. They settled any hesitations I had and ensured that I could have my course bundle built/tailored to the way I need it because I already had courses from previous purchases that were in new bundles I was interested in. So they added some as substitution to any classed as a duplication. Good value for money. So whatever you're after, they're there to help. As the saying goes "If you don't ask you don't get!" I have completed all of my nail training with this school. I purchased the gel bundle . The videos are easy to follow and tutors are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they make sure you are competent through each stage of training. I’m happy to say im qualified and already have bookings, I highly recommend

The best curse training, very helpful. Jm a mama and for my is hard going and following the curse personally, but Elisabeth sands beauty school they make this posible with her online course. This course has changed my life and opened me up to so many opportunities, I haven't had to ask for help as such but have had questions and they are really quick and helpful with theire replies.
Ive recommended this course to a few people now. I cannot thank them enough.

I purchased the Ultimate Gel Nail Bundle and other beauty courses from Elizabeth Sands Beauty School. I want to make it clear: I have not even started the practical course, because after reviewing the manuals and training videos I realised the material is so poor and unprofessional that I wouldn’t dare put this company’s accreditation on my salon wall.

Here are the issues I found before even beginning:

🔹 Outsourced Kits, Not Disclosed
The “Elizabeth Sands” kit I received clearly came from Pro Impressions UK Ltd. On their website, the same items are sold directly under their brand. At no point on the course page was this explained. Tutors also referred to these as if they were “our” products, which gave a misleading impression that they were in-house.

🔹 Errors & Poor Quality in Manuals
The manuals are full of contradictions, mistakes, and filler content. Examples include:
• Incorrect anatomy (e.g. calling the eponychium the cuticle).
• Contradictory contraindications and patch test advice.
• Copy-pasted filler content from random online sources (About.com, Bing).
• Many manuals are extremely short, badly formatted, and missing full application or removal processes.

🔹 Shockingly Poor Video Lessons
The training videos are unfit for purpose:
• Some are less than one minute long, with entire courses totalling around 15 minutes of content.
• Filming is unprofessional, with shadows, shaky camera angles, and distracting background noise (including dogs in the background).
• Demonstrations are incomplete — e.g. applying gel to a single pinky nail instead of a full set.
• Incorrect curing times and rushed, sloppy techniques shown.

🔹 Customer Service
When I raised concerns, I was met with dismissive responses that blamed me rather than addressing the issues. No proper resolution has been offered.

🔹 Accreditation Concerns
I cannot understand how courses with so many errors, unsafe practices, and such poor delivery could have been approved by accreditation bodies. It makes me question the credibility of the entire provider.

⚠️ Final Verdict:
This training is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, and not as described under consumer law. I would not risk my reputation by displaying their certificate in my salon or by using this training as the foundation for professional treatments.

It is also very suspicious that an “award-winning” company with hundreds of students has virtually no negative reviews online, despite my own experience being so poor. A genuine training provider should have a mix of feedback, not just near-perfect scores that don’t match the reality of the course material.

👉 I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for proper, safe, and professional beauty training.

. I am currently awaiting a refund, even though the company’s terms state “no refunds on online courses.” These terms are misleading because under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must still be:
• of satisfactory quality
• fit for purpose
• as described

Their blanket “no refund” policy is in breach of my statutory rights.

Not to mention, when I first left my review, suddenly a wave of positive reviews appeared soon after. Is that just coincidence, or a way to push the ratings up? Either way, it adds to my concern that the overall picture online is not balanced or genuine.

Update on Review

My complaint was handled and resolved within a few days, which I do appreciate, and I was issued a full refund. However, the errors and issues I highlighted in my complaint were not acknowledged or addressed. I was also asked to reconsider my review, but what I wrote remains an honest account of my experience with Elizabeth Sands.

Since then, I have enrolled in another nail course and the difference in both quality and professionalism has been remarkable. The training materials and videos are of a much higher standard, and the customer service has been excellent in comparison.

While the follow-up customer service from Elizabeth Sands was better than my initial experience and I am thankful for the refund, I would still not recommend training with this company.
