Excellent service at the Manchester store. Aiden and Joe got my son some freestyle boots in from another store/warehouse and took the time to make sure everything was right with the boot he chose. I've never seen someone multi task two customers after snowboards and three customers after boot fittings at the same time whilst being patient, answering questions and doing it all with a smile. Fantastic service from the Covent Garden store team in TSA who helped me choose a snowboard that would fit my needs and answered all my dumb questions.

The colour of the skis I've just bought, that is. And the 'queue jumping' service (also called shop front multi-tasking on the part of the fitting crew) I received, to install the bindings, in a busy Bristol store, was sunny all over. Job done with a smile and I was gone - Many thanks EB, you have given plenty of reasons for me to re-visit.

Orthotic friendly shoes
Was looking for a very specific shoe. One that o could wear with my custom made orthotics. The assistant was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. Spent quite a bit of time helping me choose. Left with a pair of merrell Moab shoes. Thankyou for his time and diligence I will recommend.
Just brilliant customer service
Just brilliant customer service. Exchanged a faulty shop bought item with a brand new item. Lots of requests from us as we were on holiday and changing addresses etc. handled so well. Never doubted us. Just what we want from an outdoors shop. Thanks.
Bad returns experience
Good order process and the item sent was good but too big. However the returns process was a fiasco. The returns portal didn’t work. I had to send numerous emails to get a return label and the person sent me one for DPD and nor Royal Mail as I had asked. She told me that I couldn’t do a DPD drop off at a Post Office which also wasn’t true. I got an email saying my item had been received. Then I got another three days later saying that my order had been returned and I don’t know what that meant. It took about ten working days to get a refund which is longer than advertised. The process for returns and refunds was so bad that it’s put me off using Ellis Brigham again now ( I had ordered items before but this is the first time I’ve needed to return anything).

Extremely slow delivery process
Been waiting 6 days since ordering g a pair of trainers, the tracking system is not updated, no tracking number to manually check with courier. Now the tracking page states "this is taking longer than usual" without any additional information. Tbh this is not the first time this company have taken an age to ship an item to me, but will definitely be the last.
Ellis Brigham for Ski Equipment - Milton Keynes
Made a 2 hour appointment to choose and fit ski boots at the Milton Keynes shop. Met with Alex, who was utterly professional, engaging and warm in his work today. He has so much knowledge and experience and his enthusiasm shines through. We felt we bought the right equipment, it was fitted well and we were informed about aftercare. We were so grateful to have this pretty specialist shopping task made accessible and enjoyable. Thanks a million Alex, you are the best! Fiona

Terrible service
Terrible service, ordered new boots and paid for next day delivery, they never arrived so I waited 4 days and contacted customer service I was told they were trying to source them from their Liverpool store and I'd receive them Wednesday, still no boots, I contacted customer service again to be told they weren't delivered but they would definitely be delivered on Friday, they weren't, I found out the Liverpool store closed 6 months ago so they lied to me all along. Got a refund from PayPal.

Do not order from Ellis Bringham!! I order the Men’s Denali North Face Jacket, the website clearly indicates next day delivery and I heard nothing from them about my order. I had to send a complaint that I did not receive my order and only then did they communicate with me. There was no attempt to help me and customer service was not at all apologetic. I told them I don’t want the jacket anymore and they still offered no sympathy or help. Do not order from here you will get the same terrible experience.

fab company, second time ordering and was sent some boots that looked like they had been worn, I really liked them and there weren't more in my size so on contacting the company they offered me a discount via partial refund which I accepted, all dealt with within a couple of days. Great customer service.
Bicky - Manchester Deansgate
Went into the Manchester Deansgate store to ask for advice about climbing breaking devices.
All the staff were incredibly helpful, I was signposted to Bicky to ask about Edelrid Ohmega and he was fantastic, took time to find out what I needed and what for. He explained how it worked and how it operates mechanically. He really went above and beyond.
I left with a cracking product and a cracking customer experience.
