Ember Inns Reviews 

I wanted to let you know that I’ve left a positive review on Trustpilot, as I believe in sharing good feedback where possible. However, I also feel it’s important to make you aware of the disappointing experience we had at the Ember Inn Edenthorpe last night.

We visited for my sister’s birthday and booked for 6:30 PM, ordering from the three-course evening menu. Unfortunately:
   •   Our starters only arrived around 7:45 PM after we had to ask twice.
   •   The main courses came at 8:15 PM, and the quality was poor.
   •   When the desserts eventually arrived, I couldn’t eat mine.

To make matters worse, a couple with a baby at a nearby table didn’t receive their order at all and left without eating. Throughout the evening, there was little sign of concern or an apology from the staff, which added to the frustration.

I hope you’ll take this feedback into account to improve future experiences for your customers.

Ember Inns - The Crabtree 2 Leverstock Green 4th January 1915hrs. Table 49
A Haddock and Chips at £13.29 was awful. The piece of fish was all batter and looked like a bit of old roap dumped on the plate. We requested and received a full refund from staff who tried very hard to apologise and we were offered an alternative meal, but not sure whether this was to be free. We declined. There were 8 of us and the other meals were just Ok but not of the quality expected for the prices paid. I do not think we will be going back there.

Is it only me or do others suffer the
sh ite service and food from this chain.
Too many complaints to list, please eat elsewhere, they are poor

We had our work Xmas meal at the green st green branch and we were all thoroughly underwhelmed. When our Xmas dinner finally arrived half of the plates were cold and had to be warmed again. We waited a very long time for this so I assume they were left on a hot plate. The warm desserts were cold too so they were just left. Really cannot recommend this restaurant st all

I would like to thank Gayle for the way my wife and her friends were looked after on a recent visit to the Black Bull . The serve was excellent and the food to a high standard. Thank you for making a group of ladies day

Dessert: uncooked and soggy disgusting mess.
One word GHASTLY.

The staff of The Dog, Hagley Road, Smethwick are so welcoming and friendly. The food was great. I took my daughter and granddaughter this time and they really enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be going again. Wonderful atmosphere in a lovely pub.

We had a Christmas meal this evening for 9 of us. The table looked lovely with crackers, table clothes and festive ornaments. Some had two courses whilst others had three. The meals were well presented and tasted lovely. There was plenty of choice on the festive menu. We were looked after by a lovely lady who juggled serving drinksa nd serving our mesls. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Wanted a nice meal for our special anniversary,looked at all the local restaurants but decided on Fairfield Arms as we have been here before on lots of family celebrations
Looked at the website and headed there
Selected our choice from the menu and headed to the bar at 6.45 to be told the food had ended
Aired our dissapointment to the lady collecting the menus and 8.30pm to be told they sold all the vegetables at 6.00pm
Why are the menus still on display can I ask

Freezing in the pub, people trying to eat their dinners in their coats , when I asked the manager if we could close doors, abruptly told no due to smell in pub! Prefer to be warm

Beaufort Arms - Stoke Gifford (14th November 14:53). Staff were ‘not allowed’ to turn the music (which was stuck on a 3 second loop) down or off. Absolute disgrace!!!! You lost a sale of 4 lunches and a second round of drinks!!!! Music far too loud!! What is wrong with management to allow this. Please sort it out as we’ve now gone elsewhere!

In October my wife and I went to our local (the Greatfield in Cheltenham) to book Christmas lunch for us both for early December. The gentleman who dealt with this thinks he booked it but wouldn't take a deposit as he wasn't sure. He said we will be phoned to confirm.
After a few days we called them as no contact had been made, to be told the manager was not available and would call us back.
It is now 11/11 and nothing.
We have done all the contacting and still don't know if we are booked. Sick of this service

So we both had a Rib of beef Sunday lunch meal. It was brilliant. Very tasty and filling. It was at the Gate Northwood Middlesex.

We saw Ember Inns Sunday lunch offer of £10.49 for two courses.

We rang to confirm as it seemed too good to be true. Charlie confirmed it and it was Sunday roast plus other dishes.We booked it and arrived in half an hour.

We asked to see the Sunday lunch menu on the table. Non had it so we asked the staff.They confirmed it was still available. We ordered and I was still not convinced.

When we paid the TAB it was normal price. We did not have dessert as they misled us and we were full from the mains. In fact the £10.49 two courses was £2.50 on selected desserts when you pay full price £14.99,for the mains in our case. Some mains more, some less. If that is not misleading I don't know what is.

The manager was not interested in reducing the bill.Ember Inns area manager does not seem to want to deal with it!

So, I have informed Google that it's not correct. It is still there today!

It's not the money so much but the arrogance and outright misleading information that they have used and still do!

North Star Worthing. My wife and friend ordered chicken & leek pie at lunchtime - the chicken was non-existent and vegetables under cooked. I had sausage and mash -the sausages were really nice BUT were served with the bowl half full with gravy so the mash was a soggy mess.

Sent feedback to customer services highlighting an issue in my local outlet.
Received an obvious copy/ paste, impersonal reply with absolutely no punctuation refering to a different outlet
The incompetence of this company seems to start with head office ( which according to the contact details under the "about Ember Inns" blurb are based in America ??) and filters down through the outlets.

Regards The Crown, Birkdale. Called in last night for a beer and a chat with my son, who flies home today. He had a pint of Madri, it tasted of the chemicals used for line cleaning (he has done this so knows the procedure). This made him violently ill. This ruined the whole evening as we had to cut it short.

Happy friendly staff. Exceptional service. Great value food. Lovely venue. Enjoyable relaxed 3 course lunch. Pauline and Bertie were a lovely team.

Food if you can call it that was grotesque, I would feed it to the stray foxes!!!!!
