Faulty Ottoman Bed - Storage base fabric fails to stay in place.
Update: Following my previous review, Emma's social media team publicly acknowledged the 'defect' and promised a 'smooth resolution.' However, their Escalations Team (Dhanniella T) has since sent a final rejection email, again misquoting Irish law and claiming they are 'unable to honor' the claim because the product is delisted.
Emma is choosing to hide behind internal 'warranty terms' while ignoring the Consumer Rights Act 2022, which grants a statutory right to durability for up to 6 years.
I am now formally filing a claim with the Small Claims Court and reporting this matter to the CCPC. Avoid this company if you expect your consumer rights to be respected in Ireland.
I purchased an Emma Ottoman Bed in August 2023, and unfortunately, it has a significant design/manufacturing defect.
The fabric for the storage base constantly detaches from the Velcro/frame, meaning the storage feature is completely unusable.
As the bed is within its 2-year warranty and this issue makes the product "not fit for purpose" under Irish consumer law, I have requested a full refund and collection. I have already provided my IBAN and BIC details as requested by support.
I am waiting for a prompt confirmation of my refund. I hope Emma resolves this quickly without the typical long delays often reported here.

Do not buy
I got the Emma mattress and after about 4 months, the mattress loses its shape and dips down where you sleep. It’s not good for your our back either. I reached out to Emma Mattress customer support and I never received a reply. I would not recommend buying from Emma. Waste of money

Hot as the pits of hell
I never had a peaceful nights sleep on the Emma mattress. I called it satans mattress because it was always so hot...not matter what topper I put on it I was waking up 3-4 times a night sweating. If you like sleep don't buy it.

Awful delivery experience and poor…
Awful delivery experience and poor communication about delivery. I was told the mattress would be delivered to my apartment today but with no specific time. As I’m in work, my dad went to the apartment to let the couriers in to bring the mattress up. My dad is nearly 80 bear in mind. I receive an email saying it had been delivered - the couriers simply left the mattress in the foyer downstairs - didn’t ring me or anything. My poor dad had to carry the mattress to the escalator, to the fourth floor and the length of the corridor. I have never had a furniture delivery experience like this - absolutely horrific
