Medals worn at ve celebration
I ordered 2 replica ww2 medals that my grandfather was posthumously awarded following his death in Norway (KIA). I received the medals within the estimated delivery time and was able to wear them with pride, on the right shoulder side, at a VE Day commemoration at his war memorial in KVAM in Norway on the 8th May.

The product is excellent
The product is excellent. The issue is the expected delivery time offered. I've purchased several items and after 6/7 weeks I make contact to receive the same comment.
'We are experiencing large orders at the moment we will get to you asap'
And everytime within 8 days the product then arrives. Coincidence I am sure.
You have always been polite and kind yet, just tell people when they order it will take 7 to 9 weeks and changethe excuse occasionly...lol

You had only purchased our medal mounting service from us and you haven't sent your medals in to us. We have tried to contact you on several occasions to see when you are sending your medals in to us however we haven't had a response. If you can send them in to us we will be able to complete your order and get the mounted for you.

Time issues
I would have given this company 5 stars however, what lets them down in my opinion is the time frame.I was advised that the time frame for cleaning and mounting would be approximately 6 weeks which in reality was in excess of 15 weeks. That said the standard of work was excellent as was their communication. I would definitely recommend Empire medals however be aware of periods when they will be very busy. Remembrance Day lead up and pre Christmas.

SURPASSED EXPECTIONS
I have used EM for a previous framing service for my Queens Jubilee and Kings Coronation medals. These I was extremely pleased with.
I decided to have my military medals reframed. I am more than happy as to the way empire medals put the display together. It surpassed my expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending EM.
