Like others i have been scammed by Gary Shea & Paula Warren who took £125 from me & never turned up to do the job.
That was in April 2021 & i have now obtained a CCJ against both of them which was so simple to do
So they have 1 month to pay back what i'm owed plus court costs otherwise i will inform bailiffs to remove goods from their properties.
By the way the addresses that Gary has supplied, he doesn't live there but i now know his new address as well as Paula's address in Kent so if you are reading this Gary & Paula then you have been warned.
Also ignore the rating left by Paula Warren in an earlier post because she is his partner!!

like quite a few users have reported recently Paula asked me to pay a £50 deposit which I transferred. They did not turn up and on repeated follow up on WhatsApp and mobile ; Paula responded with another date.
But they never showed, stopped responding to calls and texts and never repaid the deposit.
I have reported them to Action Fraud; they are investigating..

SCAM. like other users Gary did two excellent jobs for me in the past. This time they (Paula) pressed me hard to pay a £60 deposit. I paid. When I asked to move the valet she confirmed new date. But they never showed, stopped responding to calls and texts and never repaid the deposit. Somewhere along the way this business went bad and turned to fraud. Don't use.

Like many others, we were scammed. They took our deposit and failed to turn up. They take your address and bank details promising to refund but never do. They fail to then answer calls and emails. I really wish I had checked this website before I thought I could support this small company.

Similar story to below. I paid a deposit of £50 to reserve the booking and then nothing. Didn't turn up, won't answer calls. SCAM.

I called Empire to detail two of our cars, we had to wait a week because they were fully booked. We are glad we waited because the end result was fantastic, our cars looked better then when we bought them brand new from the dealership. We did read the bad reviews but we also see the good ones. Highly recommend and already have to friends and family. Keep up the great work!

Unfortunately after paying a £60 deposit, they never turned up for the booking. I've called numerous times and emailed but no response at all. It's only been a day so would like to give them the benefit of doubt to respond and to return my deposit, but as it stands at this point based on my current experience, I would definitely not recommend and would advise not to pay a deposit for a booking. Will update this review with any further experiences with this company.

Update on my initial review

After Numerous attempts to contact them and get a refund of £60 for the deposit I paid after they never turned up I can confirm that I've not received a refund. Conclusion of this company is that its a SCAM. Please note that they go by various different company names containing the word empire so stay away from them if you don't want to lose any money!

Please, please, do NOT use this company or a similar sounding one (they are probably the same couple/company). The alarm bells should ring when the same person and wife set up numerous similarly named companies!
They start as very nice, competent and professional... until the agreed day of the job, then they suddenly, with out much warning cancel the job, sighting his wife had had a heart attack! We were suspicious but thought who would lie about something as serious as that.... this couple would! Then you see how they become unprofessional, unreliable and unresponsive! Silly us to believe this crook. He seems to make a habit of not showing up, or refunding you. Looking at legal options after this!
Look like he has renamed his company yet again folks so beware of this scammer!

Avoid Empire Valet at all costs! It is a scam company! I booked a valet appointment with them for Monday 13th July. They cancelled last minute and rescheduled for Saturday 18th July but never showed up. They are not answering my calls, emails, text messages or social media messages. They have taken £160.00 deposit. I have reported them to the police and will be taking them to small claims court if they do not return the money.
Update 11.09.20: I am going to submit a small claims court application for Empire Mobile Valeting Services. I recommend others do the same as the £25 fee is recoverable from the otherside.

AVOID, AVOID THIS MAN AND HIS COMPANY! HE GOES UNDER VARIOUS NAMES AND COMPANY SIMILAR TO THIS ONE! CANCELLED OUR APPOINTMENT ON THE DAY, claiming his wife had had a heart attack- what a bad taste thing to lie about (look at other reviews elsewhere it would seem his poor wife suffers them often)!! THEN DID NOT REFUND THE DEPOSIT, we had to ask another company to come and do the job at the last minute! Still waiting for our refund and he won’t return calls or emails. 😡 Thankfully we approached Barclays via their fraud department directly and they found in our favour money returned, took over a month though.

Really fab job! Very happy, car looks amazing. Gary very friendly and worked so hard to do a top job. Will be using service again. Thank you.

Great website, very easy to make contact. Great service, Gary and Lisa did a great job, my car has never looked better, the colour has been left deeper and like a mirror. They did a great job on the side and left it like new. I would recommend.

First time I have used a proper detailing car cleaning company, and I wasn't disappointing, nice people, immaculate results, super pleased with the service will definitely use them again.

I would recommend Empire Valeting to anyone. Gary did a brilliant job on my two cars which needed a lot of work. They now look good as new.

I tried to get Empire Valeting to detail my car on 2 separate occasions. For both bookings, no one turned up on the day. I didn't get a phone call to say they weren't coming and when I tried to call them no one answered my calls or returned my messages. For the 2nd booking, I even phoned them the day before to confirm and was told they were definitely going to make the appointment.

2 whole days wasted waiting for them. I don't know what is going on - I even wonder if they are a real business, but their reliability and customer service is terrible. I would not recommend this company at all.

No complaints at all. 2 people arrived (which meant it took them half the time so I could get on with my day). Both really polite and friendly. Did a great job, and took me around the car afterwards to highlight tough spots, most of which they dealt with. The odd thing they couldn't (for example I didn't have the clay bar treatment so some small imperfections remained) they explained why.

Only area I'm going to ask them to pay extra attention to next time (just about to re-book) is the fabric parts of my interior trim. Have light coloured interior and whilst leather came up great, a couple of marks remained on the fabric trim, so going to see if they can steam clean or something. I trust that if they have a way to deal with it, they will.

Fit me in at the last minute due to me having to leave the country, did a great job. Bought a used car previously owned by family with dogs and children, after hours and hours of hard work cleaning it's now much, much cleaner and smells like a new car! I've never used a valet service before and didn't know if it would be worth the money over just going to a carwash place, but it was totally worth it and if I buy another used car, I'd use Empire again in an instant.

I was a bit apprehensive about using a another valeting company to valet my new car. But when I called Empire, Louise was so knowledgeable and helpful I booked them. When Gary turned up, he was on time, polite and explained everything that he was going to do. I didn't think that a brand new car could look better then from the showroom, but Gary surprised me with his dedication to the finer details. I am so impressed that I have recommended Empire to all my friends and family.
