Absolutely approachable and professional. Melanie and her team tailored a bespoke package for our 'not-so standard' requirements of property management. It was a pleasure to meet and deal with her.

Having been a tenant with EMPM for just over 16 years we would highly recommend. They looked after us very well. If there were any issues they were dealt with very quickly and professionally. Yearly checks were carried out and we built up a good relationship with Melanie Bowen. Nothing was too much trouble and we had every confidence in them.

This company double booked one of its properties for rent, after taking all deposits and fees from ourselves to tell us 3 working days before the move in date (which was confirmed by EMPM) that we are in fact unable to move into the property as they had given it to someone else. When complaining to staff, they insinuated I was lying but had a voicemail as evidence, will be perusing this further. Do not deal with this company!

This letting agents is the worst. I was booked to view a semi detached property but it was an end terraced property. I arrived early to find it was a mess with beer cans all over the floor. Socks stuffed in hols of an open shed. Masses of litter all over the outside. I looked in the living room window to see the feature fireplace on the add was no longer there but just a board with tape around it. It was a pure mess and an insult. The letting agent told me she had not been to the property yet. I cancelled my booking.

Stay away.

Melanie and her team have looked after my rental properties in Grantham for 15 years now.

They are attentive and know their subject!.

Good at keeping me on my game as regards certifications, but also firm but fair with the tenants.

Importantly they have never made a financial mistake in the time that I have been with them.... nor late with any payments to me.

Would recommend without question....moreso than going with an estate agent where "Rental" is a bolt on.

Yesterday (7/9/20), I replied to a routine email from EMPM concerning office hours, and took the opportunity to sound the agent about the likelihood of my landlord's agreeing to expenditure on a new shower. I received a courteous reply from the (lady) manager in a couple of hours, in which she promised to speak to my landlord, and also offered advice and encouragement concerning the garden area.
Such swift, helpful and courteous responses have been characteristic of the Newark branch of EMPM ever since I became a tenant with them, in 2007, the outstanding example being in January 2020, when the manageress, and a colleague, called on me to give the unwelcome (to me, at any rate) news that my landlord wished to sell the property, and I'd have to move. I could have been given this message by telephone or email, but, knowing how disappointed I'd be to leave a really comfortable home, the manageress decided a personal visit would soften the blow.
The staff of EMPM have shown such courtesy and kindness to me ever since the summer of 2007.

I would never use anyone else. Always pleased with the service.
