Very quick and efficient remortgage
Very quick and efficient remortgage; at first I missed a couple of items in the case tracker including an item to sign so make sure you read everything. Some of the documents that I had read still appeared in the case tracker - this could be improved so it is clearer. I was worried the process lacked the human touch but my queries had polite and clear responses and I spoke to two very pleasant staff members. All in all it was carried out extremely quickly (just over a week) and it was a painless experience overall as these things go.

Bunch of amateurs
Bunch of amateurs. The instructions were sent on 12 June 2026, and the file is still not open. No one answers the phone(phone number from the website). When I request a callback, no one ever gets back to me. I managed, through my broker, to get a direct phone number, only to hear more promises that someone would take care of my case. Nobody bothers to call me back or even open the case. Avoid!!

Disappointing communication
I had a disappointing experience with Enact. The online portal was poorly maintained, communication was slow, and I rarely spoke to the same person twice when calling. Important information wasn't passed between team members, leading to unnecessary additional work on my part and avoidable delays throughout.
I raised concerns about the lack of responses during the process but received no contact or apology until after completion. When a formal response came, I was told only one email or question had gone unanswered, which is clearly not the case based on the portal history and my own emails.
The response also glossed over the actual problems. I provided a specific email address for documents to be sent to; they were sent elsewhere. While the error was acknowledged, the focus was on internal inbox processes, noting that had documents reached their info@ inbox they would have been acted on, which is beside the point.
Overall, the experience fell well short of expectations on communication, coordination and responsiveness.
