It is a nice standard gym
It is a nice standard gym . Friendly staff and always kept clean.
I am not so keen on the décor and find it a bit on the grim side and the music often leaves me cold.

Clean, Friendly no nonsense Gym. Love it!
This is a great Gym, with inexpensive membership with classes free.
The gym is always clean with friendly and helpful staff.
The facilities are basic with no thrills, but always clean.
Exactly what I am looking for in a gym.
Always recommending them to anyone looking for a new gym.

Great gym
Joined online, which was a very easy process. When I arrived for first workout, welcomed by lady who answered all my questions, was very helpful and friendly, and put me at ease. Everywhere looks clean, and everything I have used so far in great working order.

A good all round fitness gym with…
A good all round fitness gym with plenty of equipment to use. A friendly team to help if required. My only concern is the cleanliness of the changing rooms/showers and toilets area which could be improved. The design of this area where there is a only a single path leading to the showers and toilets is not conducive to keeping floors hygienically clean. Apart from that it would have got five stars.

Very good overall gym
Has all the equipment I need. Friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Not too crowded if you time it right. Has a boxing area as well which is nice.

Very happy with Energie
I joined Énergie fitness Colchester after 10 years of not belonging to a gym.
I have had a really good experience, the staff are friendly and helpful and always say hello. The HIIT classes are brilliant in The Yard. My most favourite thing about this gym is the studio. I had lost my confidence and felt embarrassed about jumping around so the fact that it is almost in the dark is a massive pull to me. The instructors of the body combat and body attack are full of energy and really push you to work hard.
The gym itself is nice and bright and very clean. The changing facilities basic but completely adequate.
The app is great and If I’m organised I can booked into the classes that I want but leaving it late often means they are full however I often get notifications that there a space available and am then able to get booked in.
I recommend Energie to friends and family

Energie Fitness is a very good local…
Energie Fitness is a very good local venue and good value for money. It has plenty of machines and equipment to serve all needs. Staff are helpful and welcoming and although I personally don't attend any of the class when I am there I see that classes are well attended and the participants seem to benefit from them and are very happy with them. Other members of the gym are friendly and it's easy to make friends and acquaintances there. The cost of membership is extremely reasonable and well worth it. Only criticism - change the music now and again - some sixties and seventies sounds would be good for us oldies.

All the staff are great and there to help you achieve your goals.
I have always enjoyed this place, but for some time, people are not cleaning up their sweat and drink, maybe some more cleaning bottles placed stratigically with paper towels would help.
