Énergie fitness Wolverhampton is made…
Énergie fitness Wolverhampton is made by the staff. The PT’s are incredible. It’s got a lovely family vibe and even on days I don’t want to train a friendly face gets me motivated.
Jamelia is brilliant and supports both my physical and mental health at the gym and that’s why I go- to make my body and mind stronger.
The classes could be improved, they used to be amazing but have had a bit of a dip recently but hope that they will soon be the fun, hard session I used to love.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, GET ravi rawji OUT!
I am sick and tired, sick and tired, sick and tired of this tyrant manager Ravi Rawji. Who does this guy think he is, he has ruined this gym and the lives of all those who go to this gym.
Can you believe, this gym employed a criminal to manage this gym for a year and a half ongoing. This gym is allowing a criminal run the gym, no DBS check has been done. Ravi abuses staff, members, females. The only person he cares about is himself. He is the true definition of a narcissist. There is NOTHING special about him, he lacks intelligence, he lacks common sense, he lacks emotional intelligence and also calf development.
Despite countless requests for him to be removed, Ravi remains in charge. This shows how poor energie fitness is, they do not listen to their members. They do not care, they see members as numbers who feed them money. They think it is fine for Ravi to act inappropriately with women, for Ravi to mistreat staff into leaving, for Ravi to bully young members. Energie fitness just want money, money and more money. Keep paying them, they will hire more criminals. They feel criminals are the best role models for the community. Energie fitness owners have zero values and morals. The owners are SHAMELESS!
People have been polite for way too long. Now I can only say this much, from the bottom of my heart... Please, please, please BOYCOTT this gym. Starve them of money to the point the brainless higher ups might find something upstairs and do the right thing which is fire Ravi. They will only realise when money goes, they don't care about people - just the money.
Energie Fitness Wolverhampton is the worst gym of all time, deserves it's poor reputation in Wolverhampton and if Ravi isn't gone it is very fair to say that this gym will die. RIP Energie Fitness Wolverhampton!

I’ve been a member at this gym for some…
I’ve been a member at this gym for some time, but I’m seriously considering leaving. The atmosphere has really declined, mainly due to issues with Ravi. He regularly takes weights from members mid-session, which is frustrating and disruptive.Several female members I know have already left because they find him uncomfortable to be around. A friend of mine paid for PT sessions with him, but he never delivered them and ignored refund requests. I’ve since heard this has happened to others too.
It’s noticeable that when Ravi is on shift, the whole vibe of the gym drops, and even the staff seem fed up. This is a shame because the gym has potential, but right now, members feel let down. I hope management can look into this seriously.

The atmosphere is motivating and friendly, making it easy to stay consistent with training. A special shout-out to Ravi, who’s always welcoming, knowledgeable, and ready to help — his positive energy really makes a difference. Excellent value for money and easily one of the best gyms I’ve been to!

Manager needs removed
Abusing staff and female members how long can it go on before this clown is removed from management this gym was good until they brought this clown in no wonder it's gone downhill having a manager that's likes to prey on women . This gym needs closed down if they gonna support this person who is unfit for working anywhere near women
CANCEL Ravi Rawji!
Ok, so I've been going to this gym for a while, I started off with my good mates, a few of which have moved to simply gym Bilston.
So when I first heard about the new manager Ravi Rawji, I wasn't that invested despite the bad stories I heard about his past. I thought he was just a keep himself to himself kinda guy. But then I started hearing more and more bad stories and first hand could see this guy wasn't right.
Funny thing was, I would talk to my mates and staff at the reception and at first I didn't say much as I thought people would be friends and have respect for Ravi but then I heard former and current staff cussing him. To be fair it made me laugh and got us all closer together but I think it was all fair given the bad behaviour from him.
So through this I made more friends (staff and members) and I knew exactly what this Ravi guy would do from our link. So for starters he disrespected one of the PTs who was really nice to us since the start and got rid of him. Made one of the senior staff members leave and kept annoying them despite polite requests for him to stop. Another experienced PT left because Ravi did his head in, good job he took his strong client base with him to simply gym. Shows Ravi that you can't do well without good staff and you need to respect them, not treat them like objects.
Then one of the female cleaners, he sent flirtatious messages to asking if he could suck her toes. That ain't right for any human being to do but YOUR MANAGER, P LEASE! Worst thing is it isn't just former staff, he is being inappropriate to new young female staff and he is in his 30s. He just doesn't learn.
The common theme with all the staff that left said Ravi is a pure control freak. He doesn't do much himself but orders staff to clean for him every 10 minutes or so to give him some power. Then he just stares at girls on the cctv in the office to pass time. They all say he doesn't have a clue what he's doing and just says words that he doesn't know the meaning of to make him sound clever as if nobody already knows.
And here's the best bit, he threatened to fight an 18 year old, lol. Banned him from the gym and messaged him to have a physical fight at some location.
Whilst, I'm happy that my friends have moved on to Simply gym and other gyms and have done well like I always knew they would. I don't forget how annoyed they were with this guy and I have to back them up as thats the least a friend should do. Also I'm friends with some of the current staff who have told me how much they dislike Ravi, I hope Ravi reads this and realises he is hated by literally everyone.
Now we live in a cancel culture so I think it's time you cancel your memberships and definitely CANCEL Ravi from the energie history books!
After 2 years I have decided to leave…
After 2 years I have decided to leave and not renew my membership. On top of the dramatic price rises, the management of the gym has dramatically changed and has worsened. When resting between sets I have had a member of staff (who I believe is the current gym manager) remove plates of the machines I am using. I appreciate you need to keep the gym tidy but you could at least ask me before removing the weight from the machine I am using. I have caught this same individual staring at either myself or my training partner which made us uncomfortable.
The gym management seems not act on feedback/requests either. For any upcoming bank holidays such as x-mas and new year period I had asked for the opening and closing times to be added to the gym notice board. I thought this was reasonable request. The response I got was that this information will be available on instagram. Since I do not have social media such as instagram this response was not helpful and my request was rejected. In the end I had to contact the gym to enquire about opening times. On one occasion the wrong opening times were given which lead to a wasted trip to the gym.
Unless the gym management change more members will leave
Honest Assessment of the Manager
My aim is to provide an honest and unbiased take on the whole manager situation at this gym. Having been at this gym on and off from the day that it opened I have seen the new manager Ravi since he started a year ago and most other managers before him. So I can provide a fair assessment where he stands comparatively.
Ravi comes across as somebody who always tries to stay busy... but just for the sake of it. I've seen him go around the gym like a headless chicken trying to "organise" and "clean" things that have already been done. I see him ordering staff to follow suit, I see them doing it out of helplessness. I have physically heard current staff voice their frustration as soon as he walks away into the office.
I get the feeling he overworks staff for the sake of feeling power. Previous managers like Phil, Jet and Joe seemed to have a better relationship with their staff members and were able to get their staff to be efficient but also motivated.
I also find Ravi's demeanor a bit off putting, he is by far the hardest staff member to talk to. He gives a very intimidating vibe especially when I talk to other staff members. I never experienced this with previous managers, for example, Joe would never hesitate to have a friendly chat with myself especially if I was low or hadn't been at the gym for a while. This goes a long way, never has Ravi been able to make me welcome. So we can establish that Ravi ranks the lowest out of all managers in terms of his people skills.
So let's move onto his actual PT skills, Ravi is into his bodybuilding from what I gather and does seem to be passionate about what he does to be fair. However, I never see him doing any classes, if he is so passionate and skilled in the industry... why doesn't he give back to the people and try to engage with them. Offer them something rather than just working on himself.
So yeah all in all, I am not convinced by Ravi in terms of his managerial skills. Especially when compared to the highly qualified managers which have come and gone before him. I think his managerial career at Energie has been the main contributor if not the sole contributor for this gyms decline.
It is evident in the drop in numbers of gym members, the substantial amount that have left to fellow competitors, the lack of member engagement and high staff turnover. There seems to be a lot of people complaining about the manager but I think this is really a true and fair assessment looking at all the key factors behind the manager that has tarnished this gym that once had a lot of potential.
One bad egg
Once was a very good gym with respectable people running the helm. Transitions have occurred which has now made the gym a very unfriendly unwelcoming place. The staff at this gym are nice people, bar 1 the manager of the gym has transformed it from being a very well run establishment. To a ghost town. His attitude towards members. Staff. Visitors is unprofessional and amateur. As he already carries a conviction for control and coercion towards females the hierarchy at the gym employ a man to oversee female staff and a gym (at the time) with a very dominant female client base.
I know facts that numerous staff members (females) have left the gym due to his inappropriate messages. Also inviting member for showers and steams. A DBS check must not have been done upon his arrival employment with the company.
As I’ve stated. Many of the gym staff members are good people. But one bad egg can rot a pack.
Gym is a state & staff are disrespectful
This gym has gone massively downhill. The energy, the people, the atmosphere — all gone. The staff that made it feel like a community have left, and what’s left is a cold, awkward environment.
The fob on the front door didn’t work for over a year. The air conditioning is never switched on, even during 30°C heat — they just leave the doors open. One of the lights above the treadmills constantly flashes on and off — it’s distracting, unsafe, and could easily trigger a seizure or a migraine. The layout now makes it hard for more than one person to use the mirror, and the dumbbells are in a disgusting state — the rubber’s peeled off and the metal is exposed. Nothing is being maintained.
One of your staff previously filmed a woman during his class without her permission, aimed the camera directly at her, and posted it online. That is absolutely unacceptable. It’s not just bad judgment — it’s disrespectful. Just because someone works in a gym doesn’t mean they get to ignore basic etiquette or boundaries. Train your staff properly — not just on equipment, but on how to treat people.
It’s clear the owner has checked out. The gym feels neglected, disorganised, and disrespectful. A complete fall from what it once was.
The manager of this gym is so arrogant
The manager of this gym is so arrogant, wicked and insultive. I thought this trend of cancelling memberships was peculiar till I saw some reviews here. The people that manage this gym are meant to be investigated because of the level of abuse I saw in that gym. They hit on female members of the gym and insult the male members. I won’t advise anyone to register at this gym till the current management is changed. Save your money or go to another gym.
I joined the gym on 11th May and…
I joined the gym on 11th May and thought I would trial the gym for a week and I am impressed with the service and how clean the gym is!
All the staff are very good, management are leading from the front, Amani and Ravi are making the members do gym challenges which is very good to see!
Don't trust any positive review you get…
This review is specifically for Energie gym Wolverhampton. The General manager and Fitness manager are both nothing to write home about. Especially ladies, if you don't want to be abused in that gym please avoid that gym for your sanity. I pity the owner of this gym franchise at Wolverhampton because those managers will make a total mess of that place soon. The owners of Energie gym Wolverhampton need to work on the management or keep loosing customers.
I joined Energie Fitness Wolverhampton…
I joined Energie Fitness Wolverhampton sometime early 2024, I never bothered to check their reviews online before I became a member. The General manager is one of the most terrible managers I have seen all my life. He is so arrogant and doesn’t care about the gym members. All he cares about is taking away weight plates while you are still busy with your routine. The fitness manager is a bully. If you don’t engage him as a trainer he obviously picks on you. He is so arrogant and have made a mess of the whole gym atmosphere. All he does is approach ladies training independently to hit on them, next thing he takes the ladies into the 4D body scanning room. Definitely those ladies never paid for that scanner but he uses that to hit on the ladies. I had to cancel my membership of that gym. If you have any better gym option please ignore Energie fitness Wolverhampton for now at least till the owners of the gym overhaul the management.
A fantastic fitness hub in Wolves
I have been a member of Energie Fitness in Wolverhampton for a while now. It has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere.
The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The positive energy is infectious and makes every visit a pleasure.
The facilities are a top notch. It has modern, well maintained equipment, with a fantastic variety to cater to all types of workouts, from cardio machines and free weights, to resistance training and functional fitness areas. I rarely have waited for equipment, even during the peak hours, which is a huge plus.
The gym is always neat and tidy, contributing to a comfortable and hygienic workout environment. Overall, Engerie Fitness Wolverhampton offers exceptional value for money.
