Good deal at the end of the day
I didn’t do a deal on the day, I was offered a price for the whole house for just glass replacement but wasn’t happy with price. The following day I was phoned by a senior member who offered to do the whole house including new frames for the same price as just for the glass which was offered by the saleslady and promising his best team etc… and a new canopy for the bow window. So I took up the offer. The saleslady rang me the next day and didn’t know that a deal had been done, obviously don’t speak to each other!! On the day of fitting it was a father and son team and they worked well we did have some problems with four units on the bow window but apparently was not there fault. They did manage to fit and seems ok. Two other chaps followed and repaired brickwork they too were good workers. My only disappointment is that it wasn’t a new canopy and when asking the senior member who promised the world he couldn’t remember the conversation.

Salesman told too many stories so told him to get straight to the point and he was ok then.
Got some discount on replacement glass however wanted it fitting later in the year but got a phone call a week later to say it was ready and had to be fitted straight away.

After some persistent phone calls…
After some persistent phone calls offering a free survey of some of our existing windows, I agreed to a visit from their salesperson. He demonstrated the superiority of the replacement glass panels that his company would install. After agreeing glass refurbishment for 6 windows, I paid a deposit by cheque of £410. Later that day, I looked at the reviews on Trustpilot and realised that I had not made a good decision. The following morning, I sent an email cancelling the order and requested that they acknowledge my email and return my cheque. I also sent a cancellation form by post on the same day. As I hadn't received either a reply to my email or the return of my cheque, I sent another email 6 days later and did not receive a reply. I then phoned the company and was told that they had received my emails and cancellation form and that the cheque was in the post and would arrive later that week. It never came.
The good news is that I had contacted my bank the day after placing the order to instruct them to stop the cheque. That cost me £10, which was much better than trying to get back the deposit of £410. I have learnt an important lesson: always research a company's reputation from reliable sources before making any purchase. As the Latin motto goes, 'caveat emptor'...buyer beware!

Prey on elderly people testing the glass. Telling them that they will reduce the price and only do some of the work to keep their lads in a job !!! Absolutely disgusting
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!
EnergiGlass customer warning!!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
My brother in law ordered glass replacements for his windows and paid a £1000 deposit, sadly he passed away suddenly in tragic circumstances before the glass was installed or any date given for this. I called EnergiGlass to cancel his order, the staff I spoke to were kind and reasonable and told me that they would look into refunding his deposit. This was unexpected and I was most grateful as every penny that my sister and young niece could retrieve would be a massive help now that the breadwinner was gone. I called them a few days later and the staff (Gina) confirmed that the deposit had been ear-marked for return.
I told my sister of this and she too was most grateful and relieved. And so we waited for the return. One month on and no return of deposit had arrived, this was now problematic as the bank account that the deposit had come from was now closed. I called EnergiGlass again and explained the situation. The staff told me that I would have to speak to the office manager Gareth who would call me back to sort it out. Each call was rather painful as each time I called I had to say 'no I'm not the original client, he is now deceased'. So I awaited Gareth's return call and each time it never came. Two weeks later on another call and losing patience I told the staff member that if Gareth didn't call me back I would be writing a review online. Sure enough within minutes Gareth called me back. This is where my disgust for this company and their office manager came into being.
1) Gareth told me that his staff would never have offered this refund (essentially calling me a liar).
2) He went on to say that they 'feel the pain of loss' also as they have lost a customer.
3) When telling him of my sisters financial devastation he asked me 'how was your brother in law going to have funded the remaining fee for the glazing?' I was shocked by this question and suggested he try calling my (deceased) brother in law to find out.
4) He told me that the glass had been manufactured and that we were lucky that they weren't going to pursue us for the complete sum of money, which was, to all extents and purposes, a threat to a newly widowed woman and her daughters financial liquidity. I asked him to prove this by sending me photos of all these glazing units as marked for delivery, Gareth said he would do this but didn't because it is quite obvious that they have not been manufactured.
Gareth was rude, uncaring and overall despicable in his attitude.
I now have to go back to my sister who is still absolutely devastated and broke and tell her 'sorry but remember I said how those nice folk at EnergiGlass promised to refund the deposit, well they have now decided not to and we should consider ourselves lucky that they aren't going to pursue you for the rest of the money'. Not a conversation I look forward to.
When I first called this company to cancel the order I would have been happy with just the cancellation and would have left it at that. But EnergiGlass offering a refund to a grieving family and then refusing it almost two months later is an absolute disgrace.
Gareth your staff acted with kindness and integrity, you however should be truly ashamed of yourself.
Please note that the companies 90% satisfaction rating on justfeedback.com does not exist!!!!

I'd give no stars if I could
I'd give no stars if I could. I cancelled my contract the same day the surveyor came, 11th June, by email and a phone call. I was promised the £500 dep refund within 5-7 days. When it didn't arrive I was told it could take up to a month. I've phoned every few days but can't get further than leaving messages with the person at the end of the phone. It's now the beginning of August and although I've been told to ask for two people by name who I've since been told are directors, they're never in no matter what time I call. I'm 74 years of age and can't afford to lose the depostit. I certainly won't be recommending this company to anyone and will make sure I pass on my bad experiences. I wait in hope that one day soon I'll have my deposit returned.

Completely agree with R McCormick about harrassing the elderly. I have had to cancel orders 3 times for my 91 year old father who has dementia.
I phoned the company twice to ensure they do not call him again. They agreed to this but still they call.
Steer well clear of these cowboys.

Hi - had a great experience but would appreciate someone contacting me
Hi, had a great experience with EnergiGlass who installed a very solid looking and efficient sliding door between our conservatory and living room. Looks good and the installers couldn't have been nicer and left with no mess whatsover or damage to decorations. Only small downside, over the last 18 months, the lock has become more and more fiddly to use and would really appreciate it if someone would contact us so we could arrange to have this rectified - would be happy to pay for this service. Mike Woolley
Superb service
Superb service, great communication.
And fair pricing comparing other big companies.
Wery quick to help and advise, our rep also recommended not to upgrade some areas of our home comparing to other whom demanded us to do so without any reason
EnergiGlass for quality and workmanship
I have a front UPVC door now installed. 7 Locks and 2 dead bolts on the hinge side of the door. The UPVC is a superior quality. The joiner was like a master craftsman. Really took his time and did an outstanding job. I will be safe now.
I have nearly all the glass in my flat that is EnergiGlass.
This company is amazing and I would thoroughly recommend you use this company.
Refund outstanding for over a year
I wrote to EnergiGlass on 28 March 2017 and haven't had a reply. Here's what I wrote:
Order reference: EG5231 dated 22 November 2016
I paid a deposit of £410.00 to your assessor (G Exley) on this order. However, when the technical surveyor (Jason) came on 24 November, he said the new glass for the windows could not be fitted as the windows were casement windows and unable to take the weight of the glass.
I have phoned your office several times to request repayment of my deposit, but to no avail usually because the only person able to deal with this (a Mr John Seal) was out of the office. I was told on 22 December that “the Director” would sort this out when back on 3 January. As I had heard nothing, I phoned again on 23 March only to be told by the receptionist that she was new to the job and didn’t know what to do … So, I am now writing to you to elicit a response and repayment of my deposit.
LET'S HOPE THEY RESPOND NOW!
As can be seen from their reply below, it would seem that they're not going to refund my deposit. WHY ON EARTH NOT?

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I paid a large deposit for some window glass replacements in order to hold the price as the pushy salesman said I had to order the same day. He told me I had a cooling off period of 7 days and could cancel my order with a full refund. The same day I did a bit of research and found I could get the same glass at a third of the price quoted. I emailed the company to cancel followed up by a phone call. THEY HAVE STILL NOT REFUNDED MY DEPOSIT after weeks of telephone calls.. I keep getting told I’m a priority but now they ignore my calls. I have spoken to Trading Standards and they have advised that I need to do go to court to claim my deposit back and they will deal with the company directly as they have breached the terms and conditions of the contract.
DREADFUL .... ONLY AS GOOD AS THIEVES
Thank you for your response ... my order was cancelled on the 7th April ... it’s is now 24th May and still not received my refund and now you are ignoring my calls.... your customer services are rude and your managers make promises they do not keep .... it will be interesting to see when I get it.... through the court process no doubt

Good company, Good work!
Very good company, have used a national firm before, installation was terrible, Energiglass did a great job, no mess, workers cleaned up afterwards, good customer service, would recommend them.
Do not use customer service useless
Got quote from these and decided to use them but had to cancel through getting made redundant. Paid deposit by cheque which they cashed over 3 weeks ago. Have rang them 4 times to get money back but all they say is can't understand why 1 hasn't been sent out to you. All I want is my money back.
UPDATE 13 WEEKS AFTER CANCELLING
Still not got money back. Keep getting told will get money back and someone will ring you back but never do.Well on advice of solicitor its now going to small claims court. Just filled forms in and paid my £25 23/7/18.
What ever you do don't use this company.

Good job, good price, nice people
I was very nervous about having signed up to these guys when I read the reviews on here. Even considered pulling out. But now it's done I honestly couldn't fault them. They fitted me a window, velux and front door all of which seem great. The guys (Tony and Billy) were friendly, helpful, quick and good at what they do. The price was good value. What's not to like...? I'm really pleased with the result.
Agreed price for a single window
Agreed price for a single window, paid £ 120 deposit, cheque was cashed, and then they rang my daughter to say the quote was far too cheap, so she declined to pay any more and asked for her deposit back, the cheque was cashed April 11 the ,the company still have not refunded her money May 1st
