Lovely items for a good cause
Lovely items for a good cause. We were very pleased with everything that we ordered. The reason I am giving 4 stars, rather than 5, is because there is no delivery option to pay more for next-day delivery, and this meant that I wasn't able to get my husband's birthday presents in time for the big day. But overall, a very good shopping experience.

I ordered something from Heritage gifts…
I ordered something from Heritage gifts for a friend of mine and I got an email saying it was delivered safely.
However my friend , who was home at the time, had no idea where it was left or that it had even arrived. They did not ring the bell or even knock on the door.
The person who delivered it just chucked it around the back of his rubbish bin and took off.
Disgraceful service.

Impressive Snow Globe
Easy to order online. Delivery fast and efficient by Royal Mail. The Snowglobe is very well made. Heavy as made of glass. But I love it.

Communication was excellent.
The messages before delivery of the purchased item were great and up to the minute. When there was no answer the first day, the communication to re-book another delivery time was immediate. Phone numbers were rung! Thank you for the safe delivery of the item, which was a present.

Disappointed
On July 13th I ordered a Bolsover Castle guidebook to be sent to my daughter and after I had completed the order I realised that on 12th I had purchased the newest version on our visit to the castle. So I immediately emailed to ask that they ensure to send the latest version with the walking guide at the back. I received an automated reply saying someone would respond in 3 working days. They haven't.
When they opened on the Monday I telephoned only to get an answer machine asking to leave details and someone would get back to me. They haven't.
The guidebook arrived within a few days But it was the older version, so annoying and disappointing too.
Not quite the high service we have come to expect from English Heritage. In contrast the staff in the shop at Bolsover Castle were extremely helpful.
